  • Thanks so much for this link - I'm applying for a school in Fukuoka, but if I don't get in, I'll be using this resource for sure.

  • I dont know how much i can thank you for uploading this video.

I was always looking for the perfect website for my to study in Japan.

  • I have a question. Do the schools they promote have schoolarships? They don't say anything about it in the site.

  • @cosmicgirlg92

Chiyoda International Language Academy offers scholarships. It's listed on the website. The others you'll probably have to contact to find out.

  • @DanielGuerrera Thanks! I'm going to check it.

  • Have you looked at the Budo University in Katsuura? They have a one year pre-school program that teaches Japanese AND martial arts. If successful the student is also admitted to their undergraduate programs. Accommodation is quite reasonably priced and on campus.

  • I'm definetally gonna check that out, do you know how it would work with college or is it like a solo thing, lol... I just check gogonihon =)

  • Yes. That is the Koto.

  • Say I were to do a study abroad to Japan from a college in America. Would GoGo be able to assist me in finding a Japanese uni?

  • Are people allowed to work with a student visa, even for a few hours to get money to live there.

  • @bandbrain

You can work up to 28 hours a week on a student visa.

  • @bandbrain Those of us on student visas are allowed to work 28hours a week maximum after obtaining permission to do so.

  • What a great channel you have!!!!!.....AND you're an Aussie to boot!!!!!

  • i have to thank u sir!!! I've been lookin at go go nihon for hours now and I'm still lovin it.....once again UR AWESOME!!!

  • Thank you so much!

  • Why not just study in America? It's cheaper.

  • @Keichan2501 Because if you're going to study a foreign language, it's best to study it in an area where it's the common language. Not to mention a lot of people want to enjoy living in Japan.

  • I get to go study in Japan in 2013 ... I can't wait!!

  • Japanese is going to be my third language.....

  • All of a sudden I take back my nothing special about talking shops comment.

    This is SPECIAL すごいヴィヂオですよ。

  • I'm so excited that you shared this with us. It looks like such a wonderful service. Planning for study seems so much less overwhelming now. Would you happen to know if they help with the Yakkan-Shoumei process? I won't have the opportunity to go to Japan for a few years so I'm trying to get as much information as possible in the mean time.

  • there is NO fukuoka info.

everything i search for there for fukuoka was NOT AVAILABLE :S

  • thank you for this...SO MUCH.....THANK YOU <3

  • Always with the pretty girls, eh!? LOL!

But seriously, what did amaze me in the pictures, I saw computers still with CRT screens (headache galore, mind you!) in the land of technologic advance.. Other side of the meddal was a few pictures further along, where there are two (LCD) TV sets in the living room.. Might be a bit overkill, especially if you decide to see two different shows at once on normal volume, hahaha!

But hey, that all was not the point of this video, wasn't it. Good stuff mate!

  • Yet another informative video. Thank you mate. Your the man.

Needed to know such website :).

  • i wish i could visit! i wish i could learn! i wish i was there now!

  • This sounds awesome. Thanks for all the great videos so far. ^_^

  • thumbs up for beer 3:46

  • Hello Thank you for this value information but I really need to ask you very important questions. Since the earthquake of this year, my university and Florida university had all cancel to go to Tokyo, Japan because the fear of nuclear fall out and they move their program to Germany, Berlin. My question is: Does Japan still have nuclear fall out? Is it true that most american student go back to America because the earthquake incident? and is it possible for me to go next spring? Thank you!

  • Wish I could do it. T_T

  • i'm doing it other way around...studying japanese in my home country now and than going over there!

  • The site has slowed down since you mentioned it XD. Getting them a lot of traffic there, mate.

  • I enjoy Japan.

  • Sounds pretty cool if you already know Japanese and want to master it or get better at it.

  • Nice! this school would be a good alternative, I'm currently planning to go to Temple University Japan Campus after 2 years of community college in the states

  • No age/year restriction right? because I'm in 2nd year uni student and I was wondering if I should take exchange student programs from my school or take this. My Japanese level is average I guess... considering I can handle everyday conversation with good reading, writing and listening (except for kanjis... I hate them). Anyway I need some advice thanks.

  • @chococta96 i just went on their website (gogonihon), you can find the link in the description box. everything can be answered there.

  • @chococta96 日本語シャベルですか?

  • @shadowmyfeet I don't know if your testing my Japanese or not but... はい、日本語を話すことができます。まあ、ペラペラレベルじゃないけど邯鄲な会話をすることができます。でも、かんじは苦手です。とても難しくてきらいです。shadowmyfeetさんは日本語が上手ですね。

  • I am going to check this out. Its interesting. I am very interested in learning Japanese and living there while I Study and i would love to play the koto.

  • That site is amazing and so are those schools!

  • You really need to do a beer video.

  • @deamondeathstone1 check the food playlist- he's done a few on different sakes and beer and other things. oh, and the one where he showed subway sealing whiskey with subs xD

  • Im studying Japanese in Japan now and have one piece of advice. If you are going to do it I advise learning some Japanese in your own country. If you come here with a tiny amount or none you will find it very difficult from the start like I did. If your interested though I recommend it Japan is a great country.

  • My school! lol

  • Thank you for makeing it possible for me to find gogonihon! I have been looking trou it for some time now and i can say that i will definately make use of it when it's time for me to go and study in Japan, it's really great especially since it's Swedish support aswell! Thanks alot, i really mean it. :)

  • Nice, this could become relevant for me in a few years. Thanks for sharing! :)

  • @Eldritch899 Same here! Thumbed and favorited.

  • It would be better to learn there, but as a salary man without any family support, I can't spend several months/years in Japan to learn the language. This is more a solution for students I think.

  • I studied Japanese in Japan last year at Yamasa Institute in Okazaki, Aichi prefecture. It was such a great school and the teachers were fantastic. Run by an Australian guy called Declan who was also awesome. I loved Okazaki - great size city and close to Nagoya - driving distance to some cool places too. They organise accommodation for you in their own accommodation. Very easy and I'm so glad I chose Yamasa! Ages varied - I was 29 and most people were around 23 - 35 ish in age (but some older).

  • What's the age limit for this?

I really really wanna go but I'm not sure if I'm old enough/:

  • @xPandaApple

    Link is in the description.

  • @xPandaApple Hello, my brother and I went to a language school in japan through GoGoNihon, and we are the youngest people to use there service so far. my brother is 17, and I am 19. We have both graduated from highschool though. Choose AILC in yokohama, this city rocks! :)

  • Big smile on my face when I realized you were promoting GoGoNihon. ;) They've just helped me with my application to a school in Kyoto, awesome guys.

  • If I were to learn another language, I'd certianly want to learn it in the nation it's spoken.

  • Awesome! Glad to see Go!Go!Nihon! on this channel! I came to Japan through them in October and am currently studying at アジア国際語学センター in Yokohama. They are absolutely amazing! You can even see the arrival photo of me and other new students at 1:25 I highly recommend these guys. They helped with everything from visas to accommodation, and continue to help you out after arriving. Amazing people and company.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom I hope you keep on doing all these wonderful things for us who want to go and visit japan. Right now I can't afford to visit Japan due to college; however, I really appreciate what you have done and hopefully continue to do.

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom This is wonderful, thank you for posting! Been considering for a long time how I'm going to put all of this together when I finish my degree in the States... this is a whole load off my mind.

  • What about english schools(universities) in japan? Is there a webside where i can find help?

  • I really want to do this..but I don't know if I want to take a year off college..and I am already going to China next year..I DK what to do...

  • You read my mind!!! I was just thinking about this today!

  • i know them but it is way too expensive for me :( it is like 6500 euros for a year, without a place to stay, etc..

  • @SemiChii Ya, the price is definitely an issue. Unless I can get loans in Japan (Highly doubt you can do that) then there is no way I'll make it to Japan to study for a longgg time. I'll get there one day though.:) I'm curious to find out how so many of these people, most being pretty young, can afford to study in Japan.

  • 1:05 find mini pedo bear

  • @linkszxx when you see it you will shit bricks.

  • English Friendly Japan pwnz.

  • First. Thanks for the awesome videos!
