Would it be better to know a slight bit of Japanese before going to language school? And After you graduate from the Language School would you be able to apply for a Conversational English Teacher position?
i was hoping i would find something like this when i get there, but thats after i finish college/university. i'll be going there probably around 2020. although i want to go right now... =D
Have you looked at the Budo University in Katsuura? They have a one year pre-school program that teaches Japanese AND martial arts. If successful the student is also admitted to their undergraduate programs. Accommodation is quite reasonably priced and on campus.
@Keichan2501 Because if you're going to study a foreign language, it's best to study it in an area where it's the common language. Not to mention a lot of people want to enjoy living in Japan.
I'm so excited that you shared this with us. It looks like such a wonderful service. Planning for study seems so much less overwhelming now. Would you happen to know if they help with the Yakkan-Shoumei process? I won't have the opportunity to go to Japan for a few years so I'm trying to get as much information as possible in the mean time.
But seriously, what did amaze me in the pictures, I saw computers still with CRT screens (headache galore, mind you!) in the land of technologic advance.. Other side of the meddal was a few pictures further along, where there are two (LCD) TV sets in the living room.. Might be a bit overkill, especially if you decide to see two different shows at once on normal volume, hahaha!
But hey, that all was not the point of this video, wasn't it. Good stuff mate!
Hello Thank you for this value information but I really need to ask you very important questions. Since the earthquake of this year, my university and Florida university had all cancel to go to Tokyo, Japan because the fear of nuclear fall out and they move their program to Germany, Berlin. My question is: Does Japan still have nuclear fall out? Is it true that most american student go back to America because the earthquake incident? and is it possible for me to go next spring? Thank you!
Nice! this school would be a good alternative, I'm currently planning to go to Temple University Japan Campus after 2 years of community college in the states
No age/year restriction right? because I'm in 2nd year uni student and I was wondering if I should take exchange student programs from my school or take this. My Japanese level is average I guess... considering I can handle everyday conversation with good reading, writing and listening (except for kanjis... I hate them). Anyway I need some advice thanks.
@shadowmyfeet I don't know if your testing my Japanese or not but... はい、日本語を話すことができます。まあ、ペラペラレベルじゃないけど邯鄲な会話をすることができます。でも、かんじは苦手です。とても難しくてきらいです。shadowmyfeetさんは日本語が上手ですね。
I am going to check this out. Its interesting. I am very interested in learning Japanese and living there while I Study and i would love to play the koto.
@deamondeathstone1 check the food playlist- he's done a few on different sakes and beer and other things. oh, and the one where he showed subway sealing whiskey with subs xD
Im studying Japanese in Japan now and have one piece of advice. If you are going to do it I advise learning some Japanese in your own country. If you come here with a tiny amount or none you will find it very difficult from the start like I did. If your interested though I recommend it Japan is a great country.
Thank you for makeing it possible for me to find gogonihon! I have been looking trou it for some time now and i can say that i will definately make use of it when it's time for me to go and study in Japan, it's really great especially since it's Swedish support aswell! Thanks alot, i really mean it. :)
It would be better to learn there, but as a salary man without any family support, I can't spend several months/years in Japan to learn the language. This is more a solution for students I think.
I studied Japanese in Japan last year at Yamasa Institute in Okazaki, Aichi prefecture. It was such a great school and the teachers were fantastic. Run by an Australian guy called Declan who was also awesome. I loved Okazaki - great size city and close to Nagoya - driving distance to some cool places too. They organise accommodation for you in their own accommodation. Very easy and I'm so glad I chose Yamasa! Ages varied - I was 29 and most people were around 23 - 35 ish in age (but some older).
@xPandaApple Hello, my brother and I went to a language school in japan through GoGoNihon, and we are the youngest people to use there service so far. my brother is 17, and I am 19. We have both graduated from highschool though. Choose AILC in yokohama, this city rocks! :)
Awesome! Glad to see Go!Go!Nihon! on this channel! I came to Japan through them in October and am currently studying at アジア国際語学センター in Yokohama. They are absolutely amazing! You can even see the arrival photo of me and other new students at 1:25 I highly recommend these guys. They helped with everything from visas to accommodation, and continue to help you out after arriving. Amazing people and company.
@TheJapanChannelDcom I hope you keep on doing all these wonderful things for us who want to go and visit japan. Right now I can't afford to visit Japan due to college; however, I really appreciate what you have done and hopefully continue to do.
@TheJapanChannelDcom This is wonderful, thank you for posting! Been considering for a long time how I'm going to put all of this together when I finish my degree in the States... this is a whole load off my mind.
@SemiChii Ya, the price is definitely an issue. Unless I can get loans in Japan (Highly doubt you can do that) then there is no way I'll make it to Japan to study for a longgg time. I'll get there one day though.:) I'm curious to find out how so many of these people, most being pretty young, can afford to study in Japan.
I was quite lucky i had a Japanese native speaker as my Japanese teacher here in England.
