I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

If it is supercharged they is a lot to go wrong think about it,And yes they are classics and one of the most important cars in history as they had transverye engines which has now becme the norm for most cars on the market none of this would have happend if it wasn't for the classic mini.

If it is supercharged they is a lot to go wrong think about it,And yes they are classics and one of the most important cars in history as they had transverye engines which has now becme the norm for most cars on the market none of this would have happend if it wasn't for the classic mini.

and you will find that most classic mini drivers including me and 2 other members of my family this is because the mini is a true drivers car not only will a well built mini engine beat a charger of the line but it will shit all over the big heavy lummox in the bends....And you will find almost everyone looks good in a mini as they are just such a cult classic.

The mini is a timeless classic.
they removed class seperation within the time they were built.
school teachers had them, and so did the top rock stars.
when you drive a mini people come upto you and talk to you about them all the time, if you ask the population about if they like them or not 90 percent will say they do, they just arnt practical or very fast in standard form, however when modified they become very very fast.
