ahhh I see the microphone wire... David I highly recommend investing into a wireless portable sound recorder and connect the lavs to that and record the sound separately from the video and then sync it into post... check out this video /watch?v=Y3bqM90nGFI
@MediaUnlocked I'm getting a wired lav thats $22, I think the same ones you got, but connect it to my H4n instead of to the camera, don't need to be wireless just record it onto a portable recorder like the H4n (or H1) and sync it up in post with the video).
With the T2i I noticed that if you put the ISO to auto (while in M mode)...It will adjust the ISO to settings not available in manual ISO options. For example. The auto ISO will take a picture with an ISO of 640 or 1000 - increments that you can't do in manual (100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3600, 6400) What would you suggest if the ISO is set to a value that you cant choose in manual settings of ISO ?? Is it possible to manually change your ISO to different values like 1000?
