Turns out that the tank tempature had to be increase to about 75 degrees so the Ick would go through cycle faster and the Ick would be released from the fish and the Meds I use would do their work by getting rid of the Ick from the tank. ( Just to let people know if their fish has Ick ).
Hey i have a few question about my goldfish's that has ick it was too late before i notice and like 5/8 of my fish has white dots on their tails i searched online and found out its ick then went to a store to buy medicine and was told to take out the carbon from the filter before putting in meds. I just wanted to know am i able to put the medicine in my main tank? or i have to use a hospital tank? and Also do i have to take out the gravel from my tank? any tips of how to cure my fishes?Thanks

if it's fresh just leave everything in main tank. take out any activated carbon and dose accordingly:) hope they made it!

Also your supposed to turn off the protein skimmer and tank out any other chemicals that may filter the medicine being put into your tank

true true. but choOpy has a goldfish which does not have/need a protein skimmer.
