The question in my mind is not whether Federer is the greatest player ever... but by how much distance he is the greatest... I think by the time he is done Roger will make sure that he is the greatest player ever... atleast by a mile than his closest rivals Rod Laver... Pete Sampras... and Bjorn Borg...I cannot help negating those poor people who question his greatness because they themselves know that they are wrong.. The point is HE IS THE BEST... like him or not...

You can't be the BEST of all time not because of what you can or cannot achieve. The argument is whether or not you can compare different era's of tenins. There are too many variables to consider. Greatest of all time doesn't exist simply for that reason. But he is among the greatest and has broken nearly every record possible. Once he retires I think his legacy will only shine brighter.

i was in Basel when federer played his first Grand Slam final ( wimbledon 2003)..that was the first time i saw him play (semi against Roddick) and as soon as the game finished i told to my frind- " check this guy, he is gonna rule the next ten years in men's tennis". and that exactly what you have been doing..I regard you as the best of the best ever to play the game of tennis...thanks for being ROGER FEDERER...

Guys being a die hard Roger Fan.. if you look at the match .. he was 4-2 up in the 1st set.. Winning the 1 set would have been a huge confidence booster for Roger.. he missed that part.. he won the 2nd set easily.. he let go of the 3rd set by playing badly in the Tie breaker.. Technically speaking Roger would have won the match in straight sets...

The difference between the Federer of 2005 and current federer is not "age" but confidence.. Just check out his match against Juan Martin del potro.. in the AO '09.. Now that is when he was in his zone.. The day he gets that sort of confidence against Nadal and Murray he will be unbeatable again for atleast 3 years... Lets hope and pray he gains that very soon..
