Khomeini was a great man. He led Iran through a revolution, freeing it from a tyrant. But the main thing is that he did so without letting the country fall into civil war. That is a key aspect of what he did.
All these "oppositions" can smart-talk all they like, but the bottom line is that due to the cultural diversity of Iran and the bad intent of surrounding countries (from the Saudis to the Israelis), Iran would have and will fall into devastating civil war with any collapse of power.

what purpose does that above comment have? A true muslim, meaning shia of Ali? Havent you learned anything from Imam, or are you just comment for the hell of it?
Please, Imam's strongest and most important message was muslim unity.

The Muslims should unite, under one Flag only! That is to follow the Quran and prophet (pbut) to the last word, i.e. persuing Ali (a.s.) as the first Imam rather than following people who are not capable of leading the Muslim Ummah.
