NOT a good idea to hold the flash light directly infront of your body... If the shooter can see you but can see the light, guess where he/she is going to aim at? Well, at least that what the police academy teaches.

I TOOK YOUR REVIEW AND I PURCHASED 3 MYSELF TODAY. AWESOME LIGHT MOUNTED THEME ON MY MOSSBERG 500 TACTICAL SHOTGUN FOREND. I KNOW THAT ONE IS ENOUGH BUT IT LOOKS BAD ASS WITH THREE. I FIRED 6 ROUNDS OF 00BUCK SHOT AND 3 SLUGS THE LIGHTS TOOK THE RECOIL NOW I'M NOT SAYING THERE SHOCK PROOF BUT MINE STAYED ON THROUGH ALL SHOTS. LETS SEE HOW LONG THEY LAST BEFORE I DAMAGE THEM. WHEN THEY DO GO BAD I'LL E-MAIL YOU THE BAD NEWS. BUT DONT THINK THERE WILL BE ANY
@epmd2450 Well I've heard one person say yes it will but I carry mine all the time face down in that little baby pocket on my jeans and haven't had it a cut a hole through yet. Not to say it can't over time cause most likely it can. Just my 2 cents.
I've bought 3 of these. they are stellar. I use one in my tool box for working on the truck. great for a bug out. But this light is just so well put together and it feels great in the palm. would be great for walking around the neighborhood at night. I've seen them any where from $12 to $18 at wallie world.
This is very good light for the price.....75 lumens is a lot of power...however i purchased the Coleman MAX
It takes 2 CR-2 Lithium Batteries.....it is much brighter...125 lumens...Downside is that the batteries are 10-20 bucks and last about 20 mins....richmans flashlight....So if u have the money the max cr2 is the way to go...if you are looking for cost effective performans the 3-AAA is the way to go
watch ur video and went to get one ,im a armed security guard in a hi risk post ,ok results of edc this ligth ; not heavy, easy to use, super brigth, even put to shame other guards hi value lights and the diameter makes a good fist suport in case of going to first strike mode jaja overall is a superb ligth for those ho have to be fest moving and reacting / 5 stars
I came here after a google video search in cree flashlights and I was wondering what's that gun all about cree flashlights but then I saw your channel and then made sense. I also noticed you take your image in concern and even justified your nickname. Also you must have some hair problem but you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. Relax mate don't bother with what others might think. It's a flashlight review then that's what it matters - how you review the flashlight! Anything else goes secondary
I was looking through your reviews and saw my flashlight looking back at me! Gotta agree with you, I absolutely love this little flashlight. One thing I would have mentioned is that because its LED the light "bulb" itself is nearly indestructible. Bang this thing around all you want and the diode will not break. Perfect if you do need to pop someone in the head with it and still want to have some light afterwords. Thanks for the reviews man, keep it up!
hey mike, after watching this video i went out and got one at wal-mart. well, i must say thanks a lot for the tip because it is exactly what is was looking for!! matter of fact, i got the last one on the shelf and they did not know when the next shipment was coming in!!! thanks bro and keep up the great work you do!
Bought one of these babies in the local Wal-Mart here in NJ. Costs $17.88 + tax, came with a lanyard. It is pretty wicked. Very bright, feels sturdy and the edges on the defensive tip are very rough-will tear up flesh when applied in a strike. Good feature. Only problem is I'm having a hard time pushing the button with my thumb. Guess I'm still getting use to it but it would be better if the button was raised. Over all, great tool-great value.
Thanks for the tip on this great light. I went out and bought 3 today: One for the car, one for the nightstand, and one for the pocket; all for less than the low-end Surefire.
I think it's great. Inexpensive but well made. It doesn't have some of the extras of the more expensive lights (strobe, hi/low setting, etc.) but that's cool with me. A no-frills FL that will stand up to some abuse and work when it is supposed to is all I ask. I showed it to one of my friends today; I told him not to look directly into the beam but he did it anyway. Tomorrow after his vision comes back he is going to go buy one for himself. Thanks again for the tip and for your videos.
Your review was great. I did some research and I found it at Walmart for $17.88. Sears Website has it for $19.99. I bought two of them. However let me mention there is another great deal out there. The Fenix LD20. 180 Lumen, with S.O.S. mode and Strobe Mode it uses two AA batteries for only $60 to $70. just got one and I love it. Check it Out.. It beats any Shurefire light and is half it's price.
Thanks for the heads man , I'll be sure to check it out. Wow 17.88 , thats the cheapest one I've heard of yet. A few guys seen them at wally world ( Walmart ) for 18.88.
Ran out to my local Walmart, and they had rows and rows all full of flashlights, but only 2 completely empty rows, both were labeled Coleman XRC $18.88.
I had them check in the back for me, but they were sold out. I was told 24 are on order and to try back in a week or two.
Great vid man..Thanks.. I am so glad to see someone review a common flashlight.. Everyone thinks you have to go to the $100 and up big name brand "TACTICAL" lights.. but you dont.. Energizer also makes some LED lights. and I've come across a couple of others that have awesome output..And yes, depending on the size of the light, you can put an 1" scope ring on them and use it on a weapon.. Tried it both on my AR, and my 870. Have had no problems with either.. Again.. Thanks .....
I'm in the process of packing up, and having to move right now
.. All my guns and other toys are packed up in storage.. hopefully in a couple of weeks i can give you the model numbers for the lights i have.. in the meantime.. just try one..lol.. good luck, and hope to see more vids soon...
I've got a different model Coleman Led from Walmart. It cost about 24.00, but it puts out great light. I put a rubberband around it to provide a better grip. It puts out a brighter light than the old Scorpion- and no expensive batteries. Streamlight and Surefire had better stay on their toes. Coleman is putting out a good product.
i know theres a lot of glock fans watching your videos and i dont know if you seen this dude . hickok45 is his channel and he does some pretty impressive 9mm , 40 s&w , and 45 acp shootin' . check him out when you get a chance if you havent already .
Yes I know just what you mean but since its a LED you should never have to change the blub. ( You find out how to remove the head of the light to say replace the blub or what not , you let me know )
And yes that is how I have been using it for kind of Momentary lighting also.
Hey man great review ,after watching your video I went Wal Mart and picked one up in the Silver finsh, your right I would not want to get whack in the face with this flashlight it is like the Shark Break on my Saiga 12 oh by the way I paid $15.00 for it
I absolutely love these Coleman lights. I have a different model--purchased for $25 at WalMart--that has a higher lumen output and longer battery life than a comparible $80 SureFire. I currently have one of them mounted to my AR-15 and one used free hand.
Bought the light becsuse of your praise, for the price bad ass. The light will not fit in standard 1 " ring without modification. I took an angle grinder and cut the top of the base in half, sanded the burrs and painted the exposed metal with a sharpie pen, nice cheap efficient setup Thanks Dude.
I'm pretty sure the middle of the flashlight will fit a normal 1in mount but the bottom of the light in a little bigger then 1in so if you try to attach the mount to that end I don't think it would fit.
Great review as always. I was not looking for a tactical light because I have night sights on all my carry guns; but twenty bucks for a nice LED tactical light! I will look for one next time I am at Wallmarts!
Another light you may like is the Energizer 1W Cree XR-C. Tactical clicky switch and comes w/pocket clip and lanyard. Bit smaller than the coleman, but does not use a battery carrier and uses one easy to find AA battery. $17 bones at Target.
Timing is everything! I just happened to be in the market for one of these pups, when your vid came along, saving me some bucks ( I was eyeballin' a Surefire.). I wonder of I can use a figure-8 style scope mount to clamp the Coleman onto the barrel of my 12-gauge to make it a more viable home defense weapon?
Ya I think it would fit a standard 1 in clamp , the end of the flashlight is bigger then 1in but the middle is smaller and I think attaching it to the middle of the light should work.
lol Damn ipsc shooters ( Just messing with ya man ) I also used to shoot IPSC/ USPSA & its simply a different type of fun but either IDPA , IPSC , USPSA , GSSF........ there all a blast to shoot.
I can't find the flashlight at my local Wally World or at Coleman's website. Any chance you could post the bar code, model #, link, or any other info for it?
My dad had a little LED flashlight (not a Coleman though), I personally thought it didn't illuminate an area as nicely, but it's much smaller, and it always stings more if you look at it. Unfortunately for him, it broke recently.
If you mean toggle as in momentary lighting then yes it turns on , then to momentary turn off the flashlight you simply push down on the button a little and it turns off but once you release your pressure off the button the light comes back on. This allows you to spot check without having to click the flashlight on and off everytime.
That is a good flashlight for the money. My work bought us all $ 80, Pelican M6's that use two $10 Lithium batteries that give them a burn time of only 5 hours. They were the biggest waste of money. If you drop them on the switch, they never work again. ----------------- Keep posting the videos bro, don't care if you are reviewing Arby's new roastburger.. your videos are always good.
Nice funny thing is I just been talking on some of the forums and with gun friends about gun and flashlight techniques. Without mounting to a gun. Different handgrips and stuff. I cant wait to see some flashlight/gun techniques. Will be interesting. 5 stars as usual here!
Be sure that if you are carrying the flashlight with a defensive bezel in your pocket to keep it UP or it will eat a hole in your pocket. I know....Those are nice lights especially for the money. Got mine off a tool for too much but still nice.
Hey man, check out the "EagleTac P10C2 LED Flashlight" Its 56 bucks and has 295 lumens. By far the greatest and most compact flashlight I've ever owned. Nice video!
Thanks for the info man but I'm not a big lumens fan myself , I think anything over 125 lumens is overkill for most people. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to nock it , I just think it simply gets to hot and as a pocket flashlight ( At least thats how I carry mine ) if you accidentally hit the switch whill its in your pocket you can burn your self pretty easy. ( Hell I seen many police officers catch their mag holster on fire because they forgot to turn off their flashlight ).
Also look into the Fenix and Nitecore series of lights. Olight is also a top company as well. There are many choices. These lights just embarrass the Mags out there.
Most people don't really think to keep a flashlight handy along with their defense weapon. Nice review. I will be on the look out for one of these. Thanks.
Well I got mine at Meijers for 21.89 but I seen the same flashlight at walmart a week later for 19.99. I also could not find these on walmarts or meijers website so you'll simply have to check your local store to find out but trust me they should have them. ( Hell couldn't even find this model on colemans website )
I just talked to someone who said he only payed 17.99 for his a walmart

i got a dorcy 80L tactical series, a coast 95L tactical lenser and this coleman 75L....
this thing is more bright for it's buck than i've ever seen for a relatively inexpesive tactical style flashlight.
the cree bulb produces a true white light which saturates the darkness and coupled witht the housing provides an awesome focal pattern.
it beats out my expensive dorcy tactical 80L (which has a incandescent yellow look to it's LED) and is near to neck and neck with my coast 95L.

I can't find the flashlight at my local Wally World or at Coleman's website. Any chance you could post the bar code, model #, link, or any other info for it?
shadesofrgey 3 years ago
I was unable to find this model at wally world , Meijers or Coleman's web sites but if you check your local store you may be able to find one.
If you want me to man , I'll send you a link where you could find one online.
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
If you could, I'd be grateful!
shadesofrgey 3 years ago
No problem man , just check your privite messages

My dad had a little LED flashlight (not a Coleman though), I personally thought it didn't illuminate an area as nicely, but it's much smaller, and it always stings more if you look at it. Unfortunately for him, it broke recently.
OptimusGonzoo 3 years ago
Do you remember what brand it was?
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
Sounds like a good Deal I thought I was doing good with 90 lumes with $39 at Lowes.I think a lot of manf are going after the surefire market now

kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
is it a toggle only or is it a press on and toggle on flash light?
gimmethatglock 3 years ago
If you mean toggle as in momentary lighting then yes it turns on , then to momentary turn off the flashlight you simply push down on the button a little and it turns off but once you release your pressure off the button the light comes back on. This allows you to spot check without having to click the flashlight on and off everytime.
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
maybe our walmarts are shitty in GA cuz i have never saw a good flash like that in there
gimmethatglock 3 years ago
Ya but I bet yall can still get a pop ( Opps mybad ) a SODA from a vending machine for around 60 cents or cheaper lol.
You can't find that up north.

jkatz44 3 years ago
Oh thats just some old Bianchi holster I had laying around.
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
That is a good flashlight for the money. My work bought us all $ 80, Pelican M6's that use two $10 Lithium batteries that give them a burn time of only 5 hours. They were the biggest waste of money. If you drop them on the switch, they never work again. ----------------- Keep posting the videos bro, don't care if you are reviewing Arby's new roastburger.. your videos are always good.

Mmmmm..... Arby's!! : D

that's awesome,need a good flashlight!
snoozlefroose 3 years ago
Nice funny thing is I just been talking on some of the forums and with gun friends about gun and flashlight techniques. Without mounting to a gun. Different handgrips and stuff. I cant wait to see some flashlight/gun techniques. Will be interesting. 5 stars as usual here!
Forgoten214 3 years ago
Thanks man , that video should be out in a month or so.
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
No problem, Looking forward to seeing it. I don't recall any other Youtube videos on flashlight techniques with firearms so it should be interesting.
Thanks again ;-)
Forgoten214 3 years ago
Be sure that if you are carrying the flashlight with a defensive bezel in your pocket to keep it UP or it will eat a hole in your pocket. I know....Those are nice lights especially for the money. Got mine off a tool for too much but still nice.
Jason607 3 years ago
Thats a good tip , I never thought of that.
Thanks for looking out man
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
Hey man, check out the "EagleTac P10C2 LED Flashlight" Its 56 bucks and has 295 lumens. By far the greatest and most compact flashlight I've ever owned. Nice video!
Dominick629 3 years ago
Thanks for the info man but I'm not a big lumens fan myself , I think anything over 125 lumens is overkill for most people. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to nock it , I just think it simply gets to hot and as a pocket flashlight ( At least thats how I carry mine ) if you accidentally hit the switch whill its in your pocket you can burn your self pretty easy. ( Hell I seen many police officers catch their mag holster on fire because they forgot to turn off their flashlight ).
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
Also look into the Fenix and Nitecore series of lights. Olight is also a top company as well. There are many choices. These lights just embarrass the Mags out there.
Forgoten214 3 years ago
Thanks for the info man , I will do that.
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
nice i got to get me one now
thedriz 3 years ago
Most people don't really think to keep a flashlight handy along with their defense weapon. Nice review. I will be on the look out for one of these. Thanks.
Lovekicks07 3 years ago
Amen man , I think everyone should at least have a flashlight by your bed if need be.
Thanks for watching man
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
A Coleman LED for twenty bucks...who woulda thunk?
Unfortunately 'misisng' the strobe function, but I'm definitely picking one of these bad boys up.
Thanks for the tip!
xxxlotus000 3 years ago
Yes I know what you mean cause that is a very nice distracting feature for a attacker but for 20 bucks thats pushing it lol.
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
Um yeah, for twenty bucks, I can buy four of them for the same price as one SureFire with a strobe, and just throw the other three at the bad guy.
...then drill him with a 165 gr. JHP from my 23!
By the way, where did you pick yours up? I couldn't find it online at WalMart or Target. Thanks!
xxxlotus000 3 years ago
Well I got mine at Meijers for 21.89 but I seen the same flashlight at walmart a week later for 19.99. I also could not find these on walmarts or meijers website so you'll simply have to check your local store to find out but trust me they should have them. ( Hell couldn't even find this model on colemans website )
I just talked to someone who said he only payed 17.99 for his a walmart
