@JJ5x5 oh yeah idk if you know this now but ladders make air pockets and keep water from passing on the block the ladder is on without falling off, with enough ladders you can dry up the WHOLE ocean, so what i'm saying is get a bunch of ladders and place them all over the inside of your glass tunnel and the water should be gone (place a ladder on EVERY block , i think it might work if you place it on a block without having to place another ladder above that one)

Ahhhhhh. i remember when i did this. i made an underwater house. hours of getting glass. then when i finished, the water was still in it. it took me 6 hours to fill it with sand..

Just as Justin said, you need to fill the tunnel with dirt or something. Basically what you did is surrounded a section of the water in glass.  Once you clear it out, it should stay drained.

Exactly...and if u need air dig a hole in you glass but surround it with stone or somthin so no water gets in...it's best to do those throughout the tunnel....once you filled it completely up, dig all the dirt out and then go on top of the tunnel to fill in the air holes...if u don't understand I could make a vid:3

Why? the ocean is made out of source blocks of water you should have filled in the room you wanted with dirt then placed glass around it to remove these but you didn't so your going to have to go through the tunnel placing then digging up dirt.
