  • what tuning is this in? sounds like he tuned his guitar down a whole step

  • @mattRRgraham1996

its slow tape play back or recording

  • @mattallica464 doesnt sound like it. but ill take your word lol

  • btw just puttin this out there, the miluake performance are better than the tribute.

  • @mattRRgraham1996

yep,we take as we can get them, back then everything was on tape.

    rock on!

  • @mattallica464 hahaha totally! todays music annoys me

  • GREAT SONG, GREAT GUITARIST, BOY , THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!!!

  • Not the OG King Biscuit. What happened to "keep on smoking them joints"?

  • I used to LOVE listening to King Bisquit when I was a teen!

  • Daaaaaaaaaang...

  • I didn't think anything could top Tribute. I was wrong.

  • too bad randy never played with a quality lead singer, great guitar, vocals are a joke

  • i prefer to see ozzy as a medicated (by alcohol) schizophrenic. (i never understood the lyrics to oaranoid until i found out that he wrote it after being diagnosed.)

  • @sonsofdon Ozzy didnt write the lyrics to Paranoid, Geezer Butler did

  • wish the quality wasn't so bad. this is great

  • Dude I remember listening to this live on the radio as a kid and I recorded it on a cassette tape! LMAO! Great to hear it again! Thanks for sharing!

  • @bobwestmoreland1 I know I remember listening to this as a kid as well. FUCK YEA. God I would love to have this whole show.

  • @bobwestmoreland1 Same with me. I was 9 and was blown away. This concert is what made me want to learn how to play guitar.

  • I thought the King Biscuit recording in Montreal was the best live recording of the Ozzy/Rhoads era. Randy's tone is really thick and his playing is very alive and energetic. I thought that they lost a lot of Randy's tone on Tribute.

  • Far as I know Ozzy never did bite the head off a dove during a show, he did that when he was getting a record deal for Blizzard of Oz album . Only thing he did bite the head off live was the bat cause he thought it was a rubber/toy.

  • Randy will always be king!

  • The Man, THE MASTER. RIP Randy!

  • There is no telling how far Randy would have gone with those awesome guitar skills he had. RIP Randy

  • so i'm working at mcdonalds and i get picked up by my cousin dez and

    this version of this song

comes on as i close the door...vivid memory...life changing musical

event....king biscuit "flying high again" unparalleled.

  • I was Very fucked up at that show!!! im guessing it was revelation Mother earth because he was letting live Doves go into the air during it. Soon after the S.P.C.A. STOPPED HIM FROM DOING THAT BUT I WAS SEEING TRAILS THREW THE LATER HALF OF THE SHOW!!!! AN I REMEMBER ALOT OF ACTION ON STAGE AFTER THAT TUNE. THAT WAS ALSO THE FIRST TIME I EVER SAW A SHARKFIN JACKSON.

  • Wow! Best version of Flying High Again I've ever heard....Ozzy is releasing never seen before live footage of him with Randy later this year....I so hope it's the King Biscquit show.

  • randy and ozzy ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuule

they made the best band that ozzy had

  • @sexi1708 exactly! and with Rudy Sarzo on Bass and Tommy "FUCK´N" Aldridge on the drums.... GOD DAMMED! I wish i whould´ve been there!

  • was that bob hope introducing ozzy ?

  • Randy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I saw him in Des moines IA where Ozzy bit the head off the bat!!!! Ozzy was fucked up Randy on the other hand played Perfectly Changed my life as a guitar player

  • ozzy's voice wasn't great at that time! :(

could you remember during what song did ozzy bite the head off the bat???

  • @kuzinit what song did he bite it off during? ive always wondered

  • @somervillefire I don't think it was during a song probablly just standing around

  • @guitarmessiah95 go figure. i love ozzy but hes an attention whore. anything to make a scene. I wonder what Randy thought as it happened lol

  • @somervillefire someone threw a real bat on stage ozzy thought it was fake and bit it.he only did that once.he bit the dove at a record company meeting.once.

  • FUCKING "A". All U puckazz's listen-up to the real Guitar Hero! He was a one man wrecking ball.

  • RANDY RHOADS RULES!! AMAZING

  • Randy's guitar playing just spits out fire and venom. He was so badass!!!!

  • Guitar Pete? We have a bit in common in terms of name

  • randy never died he just went home like elvis

  • dont say such things, its just gonna give people the wrong ideas

    R.I.P Randy Rhoads

  • Comment removed

  • @PvTmasonO yea but elvis sucks at guitar :P

  • saw him just a few weeks before his death at the cow palace in frisco. he was the best without a doubt

  • randy grandeee

  • Thank you for posting this. Wish it were clear Soundboard recording though. NO ONE LIKE RANDY, and there never will be.

  • Wow! Cool! I have this concert on a cassette tape I recorded many years ago (not knowing Randy was going to exit) and I still have it. Nice to know someone else out there was recording that night as well. Like VICTORR6000, I saw this tour in Dallas just before the terrible accident. 6th row from the stage and that night was fucking brilliant.

  • thanks guitar pete soo much

  • check out my Rhoads Crazy Train covers.

Ive got a couple versions of the solo using different guitars and a full version of the After Hours session live.

  • Eddie Van Halen was a good blues based guitarist, but Randy Rhoads was very versatile and we shall never realize his true greatness. I saw Randy Rhoads in February of 1982 in San Antonio, Texas. He was killed 2 weeks later. Rest In Peace Randy!

  • who was better Rhodes or Eddie? they shoulda cut heads like on Crossroads....

  • now THAT would be a Crossrhoads worth watching! great thought!

  • Jesus that guy could play .Randy castillo will always be the master on skins .

  • When Randy Rhoads was alive, the drummer was not Randy Castillo. It's probably Tommy Aldridge. Both of them rocked, though!

  • people at the time didnt aprieciate how good he was. everyone was so focused on ozzy. those who saw him live realized it though. My sister seen him in milwaukee in Jan 82. she came home and said "man that guitarist ozzy has is great and what a hottie". I said yeah he kicks ass.but niether of us even knew his name untell he died(sad)those first 2 albums are proably my favorite rock albums.I like them even more then I liked sabbath.

  • R.I.P Randy Rhoads

You will always be the best, always!

  • ozzys voice sounds deeper than it does on tribute

  • Comment removed

  • Awsome..Randy rules forever...thanx 4 the memories.

  • God bless Randy Rhoads

  • Thanks for this! I actually have this on CASSETTE and have always hoped someone would get a better version and load it. Do you know if there is any word on whether it will be released? It IS far better than Tribute, which has truly horrible sounds quality.
