  • I love the song and the random video of your(?) yard. But you need to make a clearer version without the outdoor background noise. Andy Rooney was the man. I'll miss those two minutes a week.

  • @oldSystem I am not a musician but my daughter plays the piano. Eventually musicians will record the song. The song was recorded over the original audio track for the video in addition to the background noise. You are right!

  • MOCK, siiiiinnngg, ING, siiiinnngg, BIRD, siiiiingggg

  • @ginopoparlington Thank you! My daughter has a lot to do with this one. It is nice to see that people can still comment on this video because the view counter has been stuck at 95,336 for weeks.

  • Rest in Peace Andy Rooney. ;(

  • inutil

  • @gabusjr I agree with you. Songs are usually useful to help you express love, wage war, and pray God. This song is about one man that I saw on TV every other Sunday. He frequently talked about things; common things that we all have. He also showed his own brand of wisdom.

If you find more things in this world that are "inutile" please let me know. What is useless to you does not have to be useless to all.

It could be that your trash is full of money and your pocket is full of trash.

  • @generatorblue i love this whole thing you got goin on here, inspires me as a songwriter. i hate writing about common things. i needed some inspiration. im gonna be singing this the rest of my life. certain songs get stuck in my head

  • @mojokiss Your guitar playing skills are excellent. Your voice is just fine. You have enough assets to be playing music. I think that you need to get together with a lady musician for this duet. You need a band to drive it home. Before recording and selling your version, please remember to negotiate royalties with my daughter and I.

Someone once told me that when painting on canvas, I do not have to cover the whole canvas. A little guitar solo in the middle of your songs will help. Good!

  • Love the song!

  • oh my god this video is so memetastic i cant believe it. this is the best track EVAR. f'n EPIC

  • @LiquidChem Thank you! I still do not know if the man himself likes it. I am glad you like it. Thanks again.

  • wooden house? anyone didnt like it ? i am living in an industrial city and i am a machinist and living in a cement block ,and all my life passed by wishing a wooden house , but pity there is not a place for me to make a house like yours , i bet a wooden house would be more healty thn a cement block , and i saw your age , i really admired to you , you are still trying to do somethings , not killing time waste , THE MAN WHO İS JEALOUS OF YOUR HOUSE

  • @jackalhappy I thank you for the feedback. A house made of wood can be eaten by bugs or can rot and can burn easily. People who can afford it choose to build houses of the same shape with bricks. I wish I were a machinist because I want to build machines with metal parts. Instead, I look for parts that are already made and try to find alternative uses for them. In my next video, I will be talking about a way to build buildings that can be dismantled by removing the rooms. No more implosions!

  • @jackalhappy i guarantee you im making this into a hard ass filthy dubstep edit remix..

  • we live in houses that are made of 2 layers of bricks whit islolation between but i didnt know that the most houses in usa made of wood! btw nice windmill.. and sorry for my bat english!

  • @bikkel125 Two layers of bricks with insulation in between sounds like one excellent way to build houses.

Bricks houses are extremely desirable in the US. Personally, I love brick houses as long as they are not square (rectangular prisms). There was even a famous song by a group called the "Commodores" that concluded that a woman with lots of desirable features is a "brick house." Search for Commodore brick house on Youtube and you will hear the son. Bricks roads in exclusive neighborhoods!

    .

  • wtf a wooden house xd where do you live 1500?

  • @bikkel125 The last comment made about this video was 4 months ago. I am glad that people are still reacting to it. Maybe I misunderstood what you said but I am leaning toward the following conclusion: In the Netherlands a wooden house is not worth much (or it's worth a lot). Please clarify. Thanks again for the feedback.

  • LOL love the song especially the mexican guy

  • @DBAMB1 Thank you!

Now my daughter wants to know which one of us is the Mexican guy.

  • @generatorblue Hehe IM really into Mexican accents so this is a complement.THE MAN SOUND'S REALLY LATINO

  • @DBAMB1 Thank you! I take it as a compliment. You are right. I do not normally talk like that. I was not sure what type of accent I was imitating but I was using a specific speech pattern that placed the words "you know" at the end of sentences.

I was born in Haiti and definitely have an accent. People do not usually like my normal voice when I try to sing. That explains the verbal act. Thanks again!

I will let my daughter know that you identified me as the man, the only man. Stay cool!

  • @generatorblue Your from Haiti? That's really cool!

  • @generatorblue it sounds like your saying "Andy Rooney make's no money laughs for two minutes" and im 14 how about you?

  • @DBAMB1 If you read all the comments below, you will find one that states that Handy Rooney does not make that much money. Anybody who makes more money than I do "makes the money." My age is listed on the generatorblue channel page. Since you mentioned your age, I can tell you that you likely spend too much time on the computer. My daughter is about your age and she does not have too much free time because of homework assignments. I remind her that freedom will return just in time for Summer.

  • @generatorblue im working on a science project.so im checking out other ppls windmills LOL

  • I enjoy the song. The lyrics are reliable; it tells you what Andy Rooney does. And the beat is catchy. Cute little girl voice.

  • @DancingSpiderman My daughter and I thank you for your kind words. She started singing the refrain one morning and the rest is history. She now plays piano but I am still the "great musician" who cannot play any instrument. On occasions, my friends have offered me money not to sing. It was catchy the first time she sang it. I added some lyrics and hope that one day Mr Rooney will hear it as well. This video receives more positive feedback than all my other ones. If only I could sing!

  • @generatorblue I came back to read your reply; the song is stuck in my head now !! haha i lvoe it

  • 12345senoj Hit the "mute" button and enjoy the windmill. Every song is annoying to some people. In an interview where the French singer Charles Aznavour was asked: "When did you know that you made it as a performer. He replied that it was after a performance when half the audience was applauding, and the other half was booing.

I have watched sixty minutes for years. I have watched fewer baseball minutes, but I know what a "closer" is. Sometimes Andy Rooney saves the show.

    Celebrate!

  • im not trying to be mean or anything but that song was kinda annoying

  • How are they attached? I'd like to try this sometime, is it possible you have some photos of it not moving?

  • @thedarkone2134 The wind turbine is made of disposable plastic cups taped to a bicycle wheel. I used clear shinny tape (about 1/2 inch wide). This is the type of cup that they use in hospital to serve liquid medication to patients. I taped one row of cups around the center curve of the rim. The second row was taped to the first row. No pictures, but I still have some cups. I had to cut out the rim of each cup because the bent plastic rim was catching wind that came from the convex cup bottom.

  • @generatorblue Thanks for that:) I don't have the exact type of cup however I'll use similar ones. I've got just about all the parts for somthing like this:) I'll post up a link if I try anything.

  • @thedarkone2134 This was an attractive turbine. I will assemble another one with Red, White and Blue (see through) plastic cups. They sell these colorful cups in local stores around the holiday season. I do not know if mixing colors will look good,

I do not know if colors other than white will look good. I took gown my original turbine but I now miss it. I think that I could build another one soon. I will need a song to go with it. Have fun and do not forget to remove the cup lip.

  • What beauty. This look great!

  • Yes yes yes! Hugs for you guys.

  • Thank you, thank you!

  • @generatorblue

    Thank you!

  • good music ....wow

  • Thank you! We appreciate it.

  • It is people like you that make the world a better place! I was watching videos to learn how to build home wind power and I found this. Your song brightened my day!thanks!

  • My daughter and I say thank you.

  • cool

  • Grande

  • Grazie

  • Andy rooney makes some money!

  • We all make "some money." Some of us make "the money."

"The money" is a bit more than "good money".

Mr. Rooney deserves all he can make. I will be willing to trade my highest paycheck for his lowest one.

    Please excuse my English!

  • video was quite useless to me. BUT I gotta tell you, I loved it, man.

  • One morning, my daughter started to sing the first version of the song. I told her to record it. We later added more lyrics.

After I uploaded the video, it did not do anything for me either. I had to add the song. This is the only one of my videos classified as entertainment. I hope that some real artists start painting beer bulbs. Mine are old and have some dents and bruises.

There is plenty of snow and we all have trash cans. If it is the right kind of snow, we can shape it nicely. Thanks!

  • Love the music (catchy tune) and the tour of the front of your house is interesting. You made a nice vertical turbine this time. Bicycle wheels seem to make a great rotor.

  • My noisy windmill:(2002)I Then built a vertical axis "skeleton of a turbine" with 4 arms.I stretched a piece of metal wire mesh over each vertical arm. I then hang down a flap from the top of each metal screen with small hinges. When all the blades had flap,

the wind pushed them against the wire mesh on one side, and on the opposite side the wind lifted them away from the wire mesh. The lift up rotation had to be less than 90 degrees in order for them to come down. This is my first quiet one.Tks
