when i open the back of my ps2 where the adapter goes there is nothing inside there just looks like a rectangular big hole but i don't know how would the adapter would get connected if there is nothing or those it come with something so you put that in and connect the network adapter..can someone please answer me a reply please im trying to but a network adapter but i don't know if it would be useful because there is nothing to connect it with.
ok, see those two holes on the left and right of the adapter, and the little slot? thats where the adapter will connect to the ps2, the holes are for the screws, and the long slot is the part that the Modem hooks into to interact with the ps2

your network adapter plugs into the serial port of your ps2 and the whole thing screws on with the screws that the network adapter comes with
