Yes, and a lot of Radiohead's songs are underrated. And some are highly overrated, too... Anyway, I think Thom must make (or have made) very, very, very bad nightmares about evil cars (just listen to Airbag, Killer Cars and Stupid Car, it's just how it sounds).
I covered this song and want to know the opinion of fellow radiohead fans. check out my channel. hopefully its not completely butchered. radiohead has epic b-sides :)
this song is simple but pretty good. is not about the most wonderful topic in the world, maby that's why it isn't as famous as fake plastic trees. and maybe that's why you hate it. but still, is awesome.
I have this song on a cd and I will play this song with a friend someday while driving my car and freak them out by speeding up. LOL, rather demented joke.

A good song from Radiohead but the chorus is a complete rip-off from Stevie Wonder's Misstra Know It All. I'm pleased that they left this off The Bends album- it is too poppy for inclusion on that album and is better as a great B-Side than a fair album track. Nice video by the way.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
It doesn't sound all that similar? Erm, okay then. I suggest you go and listen to Misstra Know It All in its entirety and then come back and tell me that the chorus doesn't sound like a rip-off.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
You obviously don't know your arse from your elbow. I think this is a fantastic song- the chorus sounds exactly like Misstra Know It All though. That is fact.
i dont know what's the big deal. doesn't sound exactly the same per se, but it is sort of a bit similar. a rip-off is when somebody knowingly lifts a melody, riff, rhythm, chord progression, etc. but i don't think this is the case. coincidences happen. many a time i'd write something only to find that somebody before me had already written it, lol. bummer
I agree- maybe I was a bit harsh to call it a complete rip-off (point taken there) but it is very similar. For the RishiGirl to say that it doesn't sound all that similar at all though is ridiculous. Next she'll be saying that the intro to Karma Police wasn't lifted from Sexy Sadie. I love Radiohead and there is nothing wrong with a melody sounding similar to something that has gone before- even The Beatles had songs that sounded like other songs.

Get over yourself RishiGirl. Bedcrumbsmusic was simply stating that the song sounds very similar to the Stevie Wonder track in places. You threw the first stone by telling him to piss off by the looks of it on here. Grow up a little.
i agree with what you said. radiohead ripping off stivie wonder does not compute. don't get so hung up about this though. youtube is full of douchebags, what else is new.
i like the phrase "does not compute". what's wrong with it? i think it's quite alright. english is my third language though so i don't know...we can discuss this in russian or polish if you expect perfect language skills from me.
please guys.. just enjoy the song and respect each others opinions without being aggressive or negative. There's enough shit in the world, please don't spread it to peoples source of peace.
Since I'm here and on topic, it's a crying shame that this song didn't make it to the The Bends original tracklist in the first place: it is such a great song (but then, so are all the songs from My Iron Lung EP...sigh~)
this is the first time im listening to this song...is that part in the beginning where it sounds like a car is breaking...is that apart of the song or just from the vid clip?
