1. its a complete waste of money because it really hasnt prevented anybody from doing anything that they dont want to do

2. politicians, gvmnt agency's and dirty cops are making BOAT loads of money from it because when anything is made illegal there is always a black market in which the gvmnt or corporations backing the gvmnt can swoop in and profit from it. conspiracies like "fast and furious" arise

3. the whole drug war discriminates against inner city minorities. blacks make up only 14% of the people in the U.S who use drugs yet 63% of the people whom are thrown into jail because of drugs are black. yes the white guy everybody keeps calling racist is the only one that brings this up.
