  • I got that shuttle! Some bits are missing unfortunately tho (replaced with simlar but wrong colors) :( needs some tlc

  • The rocket is the best! :D

  • those are some real nice old technic sets you got there :) The mobile crane (IMO) is the best technic set lego ever made unfortunately I dont have one :( your robot is facinating.

  • dude i love the the rover thet went over the space ship can u make a vid on how the car works

  • Well, there is another video that shows a lot more of the model, in greater detail. Look through my other vids.

  • I have that green 4x4 off-roader :D

  • seriously, take this project to NASA. their Mars explorer is stuck there. you vehicle could be the next NASA planet explorer

  • @geffabr I believe the LNE was based on a real military rover.

  • HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!

that things louder then my nitro!!!!!

  • poor space shuttle :(

  • Don't worry, it survived :) Still assembled, actually.

  • i have the original lego space shuttle the tail is missing 2 parts but thats it everything works!! :)

  • nur bei dem nxt ist es schwiriger etwas zu bauen, da alles aus lego technik ist.

die motoren vom alten kann man besser einbauen weil die nicht so ne doofe form haben.

  • I'm not sure exactly what you mean (mein Deutsch ist schrecklich. Entschuldigung). Yes, the old-style motors are smaller, and easier to build with in a studded (old-style) model. But the new motors have some real strengths as well... including the fact that they have built-in encoders, and are very strong (high torque, compared to the old motors).

  • Wow! good demo.

  • haha

  • that is so cool i need building instructions . what set did you use and where u get the belt for the gears

  • I have no building instructions per say, but I have a rather complete set of pictures on my Brickshelf pages. See the information on my "LNE PackBot" video.

  • remote control from your phone?

  • No - remote control from a 2nd NXT set.

  • What the hell just happened?

    Cool.

  • i got one of those a few years ago for like 50$... then it got destroyed...

  • I don't know - its certainly a "new style" of construction, but the studless methods have a lot to recommend them as well. Really, both system (in my opinion) work - and they work even better together.

  • agreed!

    nice robot by the way!

  • the old ones were much more fun to construct than the new ones

  • LOL Stickman Climber

  • ive got the yellow crane...

  • i wish i had that space shuttle, they're selling for like $450 now:(

  • It's a very nice model - I got it off eBay for about $250 (you just need a lot of patients)

  • really?! I have one!

  • looks like robot's gettin some action...

  • hahaha flips by himself

  • Thats actually kinda cute

  • take that space shuttle!!!! BUAAHAHAHAAAA

  • HAH LOL now thats a funny bot you've built there ))

  • You show that spaceship, Robot!

  • hahaha i like when it tips

  • hahahahahah!! the comments making me laugh

  • when this thing tips its funny as hell

    awesome man keep it up

  • Wtf, the one crawling around is kinda scary, looks just like some handicaped guy that are trying to get back to his wheelchair.

  • hahhahaha lololllllllloooooooooooll XDXDXDXD

  • hahahahahah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha hahahah!!!!!

  • dear lord! kill it! i don't trust it...

    sweet!

  • Very interesting that it was able to know what it was doing wrong and was able to fix it

  • I have to be honest here - in this video, LNE was being remote controlled: it was *not* fully autonomous, and figuring out what to do. Later versions do have this ability, although still to a limited extent. For instance, the current version can detect when the user has flipped it, and correct this by taking over control.

  • OMG!! It's taking over!

    ;)

  • I like how it just resumes the ultra-thuggish gorilla stance after dancing a bit and starts walking around like other old technics were looking for beef.

  • "gorilla stance" - that's a great description, I'll have to remember that.

  • JAJA intento de violacion

  • That was odd

  • lol it was dancing

  • Hey, if you can't have fun as a robot, why even be a robot <grin>? Yes, and in another LNE video at one point it "Raises its arms in triumph".

  • Thats not technic its mindstorm

  • Actually, the Mindstorms sets (both the original RIS and the newest NXT-based one) use principly what is known as Technic elements. I term them "old vs new" here because the NXT has transitioned over to the newer, studless variety, while the three other models are studded.

  • kiLL!

  • haha nice tumble at the end there!

  • Wow! good demo.
