oh, wow... a genetic disorder passed from mother to son. That's the second genetic disorder i've seen a documentary about that goes from mother to son.
I don't see it, but that's so sad. You always hope when you see these cases that the proper diagnosis helps elongate their lives, because once it's identified, you think that they can treat them better, yanno?

@sciencealwayswins I wasn't sure how I felt about it because they use fetuses, but now that they have used stem cell research to grow intestines--and can you believe at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital where I used to go--there is hope for people with Crohn's Disease like me. When I read that article, I knew where I stood on that issue. I cannot be against it if it is being used to answer my prayers for new insides, for a cure someday.

The Cincinnati Children's Hospital! I went to that hospital for many years, to see an endocrinologist and a gastroenterologist.
