[cont] but I still have my cherrished Higasa from Shinagawa Prince Hotel I bought when i was last there and I continue to use it even if people think I'm weird for it. Uhg. I wish i could move to Japan. It's hard to dress cute and girly and dress like Japanese in America. And omg it's almost too hot here in Texas. Trust me, you don't want a suit like that on when it's 115 degrees F outside for 100 days straight . Freeeeakin' heat stroke waiting to happen.
[cont.] as I started studying the more traditional Kimono of Japan I came to appreciate clothing fashion as only one form of our expression of beauty in which many of us search for in many ways. At least for me, that's what it's come to mean. In any case, I digress...The hosuto style should be woooorldwide! I wish as a girl I could dress more like the visual Kei.. more uber-stylish and such, ...to a point I don't think my husband or my job would allow it. :( [continued]
if I was a man, I would dress like this..Are there any hosts out there who'd like to give an oppinion on the "masculinity" of the hosuto style? Kind of a general question, but there's a lot of people out there that argue it's for "gay" guys. What's yalls take on it? Personally I think it's the best Men's style in the world!! I appreciate the visual kei aspects and how refined it is.I used to hate fashion as the bane of my existence but as I started studying Japan and the more traditional [cont]
p.s. the advice about zenmall is spot on - it's a fantastic store - the one in harajuku has a nice selection of street fashion (urahara) as well as host stuff - but it's not necessarily for bigger sizes. i'm white, only 168cm but the large size shirts are a bit of a tight fit - if you've got any muscle at all their jersey fabric shirts may not fit - looser stuff might be ok. they don't let you try tops on in the store so be careful.
What's his favorite shoe brand? I couldnt get past the accent. Anyways, those shoes look great. What do people call those shoes? they're definitely not sneakers, or dress shoes. What are they called? I live in Guam and I cant find any shoe that's as cool as those or close to cool as those. Where can I get those shoes. I hear they can be found in LA, but I dont know if that's true.
can u do this whole look without the hair? when i used to live in japan i would rock japanese style but with short hair...theres no way my hair is good enough to get it like that
no man, the point is not to bang your customers. If you like them or they offer you good things or money, then sure but you dont go banging your clients, you make them want sex so much they drop a ton of money at your club. If you give them want they want, they have won!
if i was a dude i don't think i would be able to do that LOL poor women wasting money lol oh well their fault for going to those in the first place right?
@dankotsos yea yea blabla we've all seen the host documentary too. fuck your customers if you want to. just be aware that there may be one of several undesirable outcomes: #1 they'll expect you to keep fucking them for free and consider you their boyfriend/sex friend - they probably won't pay you anymore. #2 they may intentionally get pregnant by you so they can be a yanmama - then you'll be forced to work in construction like all hosts and gyaruo do after their gyaru gf gets knocked up.
@itsumonihon like I said, If they offer you big sure.... Not my choice what you do... Plus those documentaries are about the big clubs, Im was not so lucky to work in a big fancy one.... clubs of all kinds open as for the situation of many people. There are some other gaijin In the clubs how are fucking there customers, take the bribe, but they want to have a baby for the visa... the situation is different for everyone and for every year, as you know the current situation money situation...
@itsumonihon here is leaving the clubs fighting over a far less amount of customers that have enough money to keep clubbing. Clubs are closing...and the police are getting more strict, the yakuza is asking more money. You gatta watch a more up to date documentary if that is the only place you get your information from.
And construction isent so bad here, you know that you will have work, and pay far less on your kaitai, keep a good body with far less effort, and dont have people look down on u.
@itsumonihon Im hosting in chiba... Your point being? Hosts arnt Magical people, we are a dime a dozen. And come from many countries. You do a show or not?
@itsumonihon if you got a talent, tell your tencho to review it... if you can perform it, youll get more cash an hour.. plus show tips on top of your customer tips! Plus you will get offers from other clubs for more cash if your good enough
To the person asking about foreign brands for suits. At the very top you have Dior Homme, Raf Simons, Acne and it then goes down to something like H&M and Yesstyle. Hugo Boss suits are kinda too sack-like and not skinny enough. If yo can afford it, definitely get Dior Homme. Or if you want something even higher quality and are confident in your sizing, there's an online made-to-measure program I've used in the past: Thick as Thieves LA. But only use it if you already have a suit you like.
Do some hosts wear foreign made suits? I know Japanese suits are the best, but I didn't buy one when I lived in Osaka. Are there host type suits in Hugo boss or any other famous foreign brand?
Please make a vid again sooooon! some subject ideas (in case you run out) mens cosmetics, eyebrow grooming, nail trends. club districts. club system, or events. Host celebs and so on. I hope you can continue making hostcorner at least for the rest of the year~!!! :D
I really like that you share their prices as well as their brands. It's nice to know that hosts care as much about brands as I do- plus it's nice to know the price range for looking so good. ^_~
your videos are really fantastic i have never seen anyone present this style the way you do. continue your videos really they are inspiring. overall fantastic!
this is actually a excellent idea, no one else does this, continue doing this I am positive it will explode, the only thing is the audio is kind of hard to hear.
Thanks a lot for making these videos, I think the growing interest in ギャル style has also lead to an increased interest in ギャル男 and ホスト style.
It's good that you've made a video with some good brands and examples, as I have seen a few guys claiming to be influenced by ギャル男 style who could learn a lot from this. Thanks!

Is your suit a Vanquish, Vice Fairy, Buffalo Bobs, or maybe Midas ?
I am searching for a silverish suit like yours, and I'll be in Tokyo soon. However each time I was in 109-2 there were no suits.
Is the Buffalo Bobs Crystal shop always full of great suits like this ?
Thanks.
