  • "...To me..." I could listen to that end for hours.

  • Denny Laine - Amazing voice. Like fine sand mixed into honey...

  • なんかニルソンの…

  • I like the lead fill

  • @quicktolisten

Don't forget, Thaione Davis also sampled this. CLEAN cut with it too. Both 88 And Thaione tore this track UP!

  • My all time favourite Wings song & it's not written or sung by Paul, who is a god-like legend himself

  • @MrMoviemaster26

    It is written by Paul

  • DENNY LANE + VOX + "THE NOTE YOU NEVER WROTE = SUPERB!!!!

  • Denny Laine sounds like one of Paul's voices.

  • Boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @randlec6 What does your life have to do with this song?

  • Would love to hear Paul singing this fantastic song.

  • Reminds me of when a mates parents went away for a week in the long hot summer of '76, and loads of us crashed there for a week.

  • !Joder! la habia olvidado!!!!*****

  • classic

  • Another great tune.

Jimmy really worked the strings well on this. I loved the controlled feedback and overtones.

It showed more of the genius of McCartney to allow Denny to sing this one. .

    Keeping the it fresh.

  • I love it!!!

  • @Karla60100 this is a paul mccartney song.. yeah.. and it's denny's voice.

  • Macca actually wrote this song and not Denny?

  • Sometimes the songs Denny or Jimmy wrote were more amazing than Paul's even- he had a good band when he had Jimmy and Denny playing.

  • @QueenBeatlesWings Denny didn't write it,Paul did. On this particular album Paul was letting everyone get a share of the vocals.

  • Am i the only one who has noticed that Denny Laine sounds alot like Penny Lane???

  • what a great song...sna ndi cila nadisband...

  • thats the good thing he was willing to share songs lead singers it makes me appreciate him more.love denny and mccullough too.they did great music.

  • Zero 7 used this on distractions

  • one of the beauties on the underrated speed of sound album

  • Such a great, beautiful song. I love this.

  • Great Macca and pretty Lane - or the things going anyself...

  • Denny does it great.

Love to see Denny and Paul together again.

  • Wish Paul sung it...

  • Yeah ;(

It would have been SOOOOO nice. Not that I don't like Denny, but it's such a good song...!

  • I'm so glad Paul didn't sing it!...That's what I liked about Wings- IT WAS A GROUP!

  • @SandozSaxonWilliams yeah people here on youtube call me a douche bag when I voice this opinion in context of old siam sir being miscredited to paul mccartney AND wings...

I like denny more than J.P MACCA denny was less pretentious and the backbone of the band

  • @janfreidun Lol, Denny was just a role player with a nice voice Paul wrote this amaing song. Paul makes anyone look good. Douche bag, lol.Ed

  • @BonelessSausage Just like Harrison's guitar riffs made Mac. songs with the Beatles sound good. No one could play like Harrison.

On a scale of 1-10 I give this Mac. tune a 4. His best post Beatles song is "Another Day." That is one hell of a song!

  • @Mr427cammer the best but only in your opinion ;)

  • This is by far one of McCulloch's best solo's...it's short, sweet, and fitting.

  • One of the greatest McCartney songs of all time. I remember a reviewer saying Paul Simon wished he could write a song that great. Ed

  • paul simon wrecks shop

  • @BonelessSausage Hey bonehead, Paul Simon is in Mac's class easy. I doubt a reviewer would make such a stupid comment.

  • @randlec6 The statement was made. Belief can not change facts. Facts can change belief. Don't be delusional, but doubt all you want.. As Bob Dylan said recently,"The only person I am in awe of is McCartney".

  • @BonelessSausage Hearsay isn't proof of anything other than gossip. You're quite the soldier for Mac. waving the Mac. banner so faithfully. What a Mac. drone, lol! You propably have 20 or 30 Mac. teeshirts you also wear while waiving the Mac. banner. Fact is most of his work with Wings wasn't very good. The quality of his music suffered after the break-up of the Beatles. Sure, he had a couple of good tunes, but he never recorded an album even close to Imagine or All Things Must Pass.

  • @Mr427cammer There is a music book you should read.It is about advanced genius's whose work is so far in advanced it seems to simplistic for the average brain to understand. In it states Paul is so advanced that it take years , decades, to fully comprehend the true meaning. Comparing John and Paul. The only advanced work John ever really accomplished was Double Fantasy. That album was 10 years thematically after Paul's McCartney. Both were trashed by the way. John died, the reviews removed.Learn

  • @BonelessSausage I don't get off on reading propaganda. I judge music on the quality of the writing, the arrangement of the song, and the quality of different instruments used. John produced two songs on Imagine that are better than any song Mac ever recorded. "Imagine", and "Jealous Guy." McCartney's tune "Yesterday" is in this class of songs, as is "Something" by George Harrison.

Your last couple of sentences don't make any sense. Did you hit the bong a little too hard before you posted?

  • .

Bob Dylan in this month's Rolling Stone

More kind words from Bob Dylan on Paul in this month's Rolling Stone Magazine. In an interview Dylan speaks about wanting to work with Paul. He says, "That'd be exciting to do something with Paul! But, ya know, your paths have to cross for something like that to make sense."

Previously, in 2007 Dylan told Rolling Stone, "I'm in awe of McCartney. He's the only one I'm in awe of. He can do it all. And he's never let up...He's just so damn effortless

  • @BonelessSausage And I don't care for a reviewers opinion. I like London Town, it's a fine record, but it received so, so reviews. I say, so what? I'm the consumer, I know what I like. I don't need a book or a reviewer to enlighten me. Their opinions are too slanted, for or against. I'd rather draw my own conclusions based on my own taste.

  • @Mr427cammer All Things Must Pass, even the shit spewing out of your ass.You sir, are sadly gassed. Move along Betty.

  • @BonelessSausage " Double Fantasy" was never trashed by anyone, and Paul's album "McCartney" wasn't either! I was there, I was 16 in 1970 when "McCartney" was released. Both records received good reviews. Double Fantasy came out just before John's tragic death and was considered a fantastic comeback album for him, (Yoko's work on the album excluded) Why Lennon put his screaming wife on Double Fantasy we'll all never know. The song Imagine stands as one of the best post Beatles recordings ever.

  • @Mr427cammer McCartney is a great album, one of his best. Lennon often said if you trash Yoko and her work youre not a fan of his ; HE rated it and if people say its poor & weird John did VERY weird Avant Garde feat himself but people would say its good if it's not Yoko

  • @BonelessSausage You're a little backwards here. It was Paul who made that statement about Dylan, not Dylan about Paul. All of the Beatles were in awe of Mr. Bob Dylan. As for Paul Simon, he is in Macs class as a writer, musician. I remember a Lennon interview where he stated that Mac. was trying to copy Paul Simon's classic "Bridge Over Troubled Water" when he penned "The Long and Winding Road." Now, that was classic Lennon! Don't you agree? Sure you do mini mac, lol!!!

  • @Mr427cammer Read the RS interview. You live in the past. Paul said it years back, but Bob is the one who said it recently he wants to work with Paul. He said Paul is the master and he is damn effortless, I wish he would stop and give someone else a chance. Idol Worship Is dangerous unless facts are the truth. As far as Lennon, Yoko said he would stay up at night because he could not top Paul. Lennon also said all those nasty things I said about Paul were really about me.

  • @BonelessSausage You mean one of the most boring Mac. tunes of all time! LOL!!!!!

  • @Mr427cammer "But finally he (Lennon) settled down, had a baby, took time off from music, and devoted himself to his family. After all that, he was finally ready to be a fully Advanced musician, writing music about his child and his woman. In other words, he finally reached the place that McCartney had 10 years before." Quote from advanced genius book.

  • @Mr427cammer This song is about a politician who was trying to tell the truth about the lies in Government but was hushed and killed, but the Note told the truth as the GOV tracked it down to a lone person who knew the secret.

  • @BonelessSausage thank you fot posting this.. I thought it was about something really different.. but it makes sence, the music perfectly fits to this story

  • Does anybody know any other wings tracks which has the same subtle sound at 1:07 and 2:08 or even any other artists like this. I would be very grateful!!!

  • I think you are referring to the Rhodes which is a vibrado one. You can hear it on Wings' London Town the title track. Also on the song "Girlfriend" off the same album. Hope this helps.

  • It wasnt what i was looking for but i thank you because you introduced me to more good music!

  • try "destiny" by zero 7, or "home" by zero 7.

  • thanks for the song.great tune,brings back memories,luv it.............thanks.,ken

  • hey... that's not mac singing. Is that denny lane?

  • It's Denny Laine yeah.
