My first Lynch experience was this film, in the theatre in 1992 - a friend took me who was a huge Twin Peaks fan, and I knew nothing about it. The images and sounds working together - that mood that Lynch creates...it blew my mind. I didn’t even NEED to know what was going on. Since then, I have probably seen Fire Walk With Me over 50 times. Its completely underrated as a piece of art, because that’s what it is, more than an actual movie. I’m glad you had the same experience!
yeah i saw this movie 2 years ago and have never been the same since, it's my favorite movie of all time and i'm totally obsessed. it's really cool you liked it so much because no one i know really seems to get it, the appeal i mean...they just write it off as "weird". i wish for once i could find someone to watch it with who appreciates it like i do!
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. Lynch is a genius and this movie has to be his best. (Wild at Heart comes in a close 2nd).
I saw this movie many moons ago and I had the pleasure of watching it after I experimented with a hand rolled cigarrette. Needless to say, this movie blew me away. You want to talk about messing with your mind?
The characters, the dialogue, the music, the cinematography is just a work of pure genius. This movie is a must see, even in a sober state..
how have i not seen this? i love david lynch and yet haven't seen this. i knew about it but you made me want to watch it. hope to see you on the Rough Cuts again.
I can't imagine watching this movie before seeing the show.... Although I did like the movie more than any of the show, I don't think I would have enjoyed it without having seen the show first. Good review man. -J
its funny you said that, i actually filmed something about that. I comparing that to kids seeing star wars now starting with episode 1 - episode 6. I know...shit is CRAZAAAYYYYY
I thought Fire Walk with Me was OK, but kinda unnecessary as I didn't find out any new information that added on to the story that I didn't already know, also the new Donna sucked. IMO TV series is WAY better.
fuckin love that movie.David Lynch is badass insane and the soundtrack is amazing. But I would say it's one of the more understandable pieces of Lynch....isn't it? I mean....Mullholland drive was ....frantic
ive never seen fire walk with me, but I love twin peaks. is agent cooper not in the film since its a prequel?

This is a formica table, green is its color.
so what's it like to watch the show after the prequel? since you already know who the killer is and all that?

hahah thank you! someone gets it.

Truth be told, every time the watch is in a shot I can't keep my eyes off it. The watch should have a video as well, maybe resting on the sweater.
This video was the first vocal sound I heard this morning, both my cat and I jumped. Good info, though, good review.
