sir i had a Promaster 8GB Class 6 SD card memory and i used it for my Canon t2i 550D and while iam recording a HD video (1080p and 720p) after 3 or 5 or more seconds i always get this message "Stops Recording Automatically" why is it? any idea?
@Warmouse213616 No, this was just an impromptu video response shot 2 years ago in response to someone who had a question back then about SDHC. The green cloth in the back was part of my green screen studio set back then, but I obviously wasn't doing any keying here or anything like that.
hope this isnt a stupid question but im getting a nikon D3100 and it needs sdhc cards, if i get those how do i transfer the memory from the cards to my computer?
Thank you! I just bought an expensive camera and it wouldn't record in HD on my normal SD card... Now I know why, you helped my understanding a lot, thanks again!
Good review A++. [Sandisk are cheap but can't say too reliable. Thats why most retailers choose to sell them, not becouse of their quality but becouse they can get their hands on alot more.. The extremes are top of the range. Made by a company called Tiyan (sandisk logo slaped on) I personally prefer Kingston Media. But thats just my opion.. Higher quality SD or SDHC also include Sony,Toshiba,Seagate etc..
Thanks Rod, I saw where NewEgg had transcend 8GB Class 10 for $20.00 free shipping this week. Thought I would look around and see what was being said before I had a couple shipped in. I notice the two dollar cheaper class 6 was SD2.0, where the Class 10 is listed as SD3.00. I am sure SD.org or whatever it is called willl have a full explanation of whats new in SD3.00
Would be nice to mention in the video something like what speed you need for this and that (for example 720p HD video) without it making problems. Thanks though. It's useful.
Thanks dude really happy I found this! I am using a class for on a new sdhc HD camcorder I got 2day and the playback is so sloppy I think I'm gonna invest in one of these:) Cheers!
You are lucky those cards work in that Aiptek, I had problems with it working with my PNY class 4 cards, and I read around the internet that they usually don't work correctly with any type of card over 1 or 2 gb
do something smart!

@alecwha most PCs come with built in card readers. If you have a mac or a laptop you can but an external card reader.

How fast it should be for making movies? And how many minutes you can capture with 32 GB? With 2 GB I can film about 6 minutes.
