Somewhere along the line I think her attitude changed, for one she started demanding fans not take photos or videos at her shows. She's become too much of a diva for my taste, and a good number of her fans (I was in her fan club for a few years) really go over the top defending her and attacking anyone they deem a "rival".

fanatics might want to plug negatives onto anyone that says it but i dont care... she just isnt real country. i have to agree with george jones. i was born in texas, i grew up around country music and came from a family of cowboys.. i hate to hurt your feelings but its true that she isnt. she is very pretty though if that means anything to ya. and i didnt say her music was good or bad. i just said it wasnt real country. isnt the first time now tho the ole opery has done such a thing.

I think it's interesting that "chosen 11979" is actually into heavy metal music - I have been a country music fan and have watched and listened to the Opry for years and I think it's great they have inducted a young talented singer like Carrie Underwood ! Kudos to the Opry and Vince Gill agrees they made a smart decision!

I'll give her credit for hitting big in a relatively short time,but her name does not belong next to the likes of Dolly Parton,Porter Wagoner,Vince Gill,& Bill Anderson,who all have or had more talent in their baby toe than Carrie Underwood will ever have.The real credit belongs to my fellow Caper Gordie Sampson who wrote Jesus,Take The Wheel.

If you want a country musician that can relate with rural America, she is horrible. I wish country music would divide into: a poppy Carrie Morningwood genre, which would highlight Rascal Fags, Quief Urban, the rest of the fruity tutes; and a genre that sings about cowboy boots, farming, ranching, and the authentic rural American, which would highlight artists such as Trent Williamson, Ryan Bingham, Robert Earl Keen, Kevin Fowler, and Boland and the straggles! Carrie you suck in my opinion!!!
