Also, instead of speech checking him, you can activate both quests talk to Dr Li, get the dish for him and he'll give you the holotape even if you found out from Li where ur dad is, cool vid though :P

Fallout 3 is awesome game. But its a pity that you need to take at least 50 head shots to kill an enemy and you know, these cache are a little bit useless. After playing a few minutes you get hundreds of weapons and stuff. So the weapons aren't scare commodities at all. I don't feel the urge to find a better weapon, cos they are everywhere and every single one of them is useless against an enemy.... If you exp enough, you'll soon have your fists more powerful than guns. THATS A SERIOUS PROBLEM!!

Another way to do this is to start the GNR quest with no speech check, but instead of doing it, you head to rivet city anyway. Speak with Li and find the holotapes in the Jeffersons Memorial Rotunda. Then do the quest and he will reward you for doing it anyway even after finding out about your dad.

you can skip like all of the first missions by going to vault 112 but i don't remember if you get the exp for those missions and you can still do this but half of the talking is gone

what a rip off. three dog should have like 2 missle launchers, 15 stimpacks/chems/ etc. 5+ assault rifles (chinese or regular) perfect condition 5+ combat shotguns, pistols, smgs. ridiculous amount of ammo

oh yeah and a few hand grenades >_> and i just spent two hours completing his stupid quest
