For $2 million, I'd expect a lot more range than a measly 1000nm. The Mooney Acclaim can fly 1400-1800 nm at only 20 kts slower for only $600,000+. That's quite a difference.

@bg11215 But you must remember that is with full tanks and within 1400nm you will have to weigh under 200 Ibs. With a meridian you get 1700 useful load you maybe got 700 lbs. of fuel ( full tanks ) you get 1000 lbs. of cargo and passengers.

I hear that but ive been saving for awhile now , so probably going to purchase a used piper soon. But not a Meridian a Cherokee probably

Must be nice to be able to purchase your own aircraft, I have been working for 50 years and never got into that sphere.
