@lilmissdaisy100 - I used herb-crusted goat cheese to stuff the chicken, but you can use regular goat cheese. It should be available in the cheese section of any major grocery store in North America. Otherwise, try any other cheese you like. There are no 'rules' here... make it your own :)
I found your recipe this afternoon and made it tonight with great success. Unbelievable flavor. I didn't have goat cheese so I used Pepper Jack instead with some sun dried tomatoes in olive oil as the stuffing. The wrapped bacon sent me over the edge. Bacon makes everything good in my opinion. So moist, juicy and tender. Thank you for sharing and I'm glad to have found your channel.
@reichardtaj - I'm really pleased that this recipe worked out for you, and that you decided to put your own twist on it by experimenting with different flavor combinations. I might just try it your way... it sounds terrific. Cheers, B.
First video of yours I've seen & I am excited to try this out for the family. Nice to know meals like this can be created with a young one in the house - my 2 month old tends to interrupt at the most inopportune times!
@PAPAA1212 - Goat cheese is actually one of the healthiest cheeses you can get. For a 30g portion (about 2 tbsp), it has only 6g of fat, and 80 cal. That's quite reasonable given the extra flavor it adds, IMO.
@BlaineMooneyham - Of course you can use something besides goat cheese. If you have other cheeses on hand, try something that's not too runny when melted (feta cheese). You don't want the cheese to spill out from inside the chicken. Non-cheese options would be sauteed mushrooms, roasted red peppers, spinach, etc. Try something creative!
@BlaineMooneyham - It'll be fine, and taste great. Some of the cheese will melt and leak out, but wrap it well with bacon, and that should take care of it. Good luck.
Just made this. It was wonderful! Sept, Instead of goat cheese we used Mozzarella since we didn't have it in handy and turkey bacon. Thank's for the recipe! So easy and quick but good. :)
@Zoegurlhawt1 - Fry the chicken breast until the bacon starts to brown on the outside. A few minutes per side ought to do it. Once the bacon is browned on all sides of the chicken breast, place the frying pan in the oven to bake for about 20 min.
@evieromero16 - Yes. This is a gas oven, so the aluminum foil isn't touching any electric heating elements. The oven can't get hot enough to melt the aluminum foil, and it prevents spills from making a mess inside the oven.
Where can I buy the goat cheese some supermarkets don't carry that kind.

I'm gonna make this "Heart attack in a pan" for dinner and wash it down with a glass of melted butter mixed with sprite.

@PAPAA1212 - It's not quite a Paula Deen recipe. ;-) If you use turkey bacon, this is actually quite healthy.

@cookinginhd Fair enough. But what about the Goat cheese. What's the sub for that?
