not bad the songs quite difficult to learn but ur getting there but you might considor holding the frets down a bit stronger and posiblly pluging into the amp...
Sounds good man! true, you still need a little work, but this is not bad at all. Too bad you didn't use an expensive amp on it, cause it would've made it sound a lot better. But like said before, it's a good thing you stay away from distortion. I think the song sounds better with no/little distortion 9 out of 10 times.
By the way: try to get another guitarist to join you. This style is waaay cooler with 2 guitars!
sorry mate but you can tell blues isnt youre style, dont think of where youre fingers are going next think about the music. try improvising with youre eyes shut and playing what you want.
Harsh! but Acceptable, Lol yeah ok you need ALOT of practice. but that was like nearly a years ago.. so hope uve improved. and try getting a nice guitar and an amp :) regards Ryan
Kinda good but ur verse isnt right ur playin it like oberfiesling said something like the quo. GET SOME DISTORTION ON BRUDDA! ITLL SOUND IMMENSE CAUSE YOU ARE GOOD!!!!
you should expect this kind of criticism if youre gonna post a COVER of a legend like chuck berry. a song about the american dream? you gotta play with some passion bro. kudos for having the balls for posting it though
Needs more work. It sounds like your not playing Chuck Berry's studio version. Really listen to the way he bends the 8th fret on the g srting. He kinda pops it up and doesn't return it, this can take a long time to master, trust me. The rest still needs a lot of work, and once you can master this song, every other blues piece from now on will fall into place.
The Chuck Berry part was good... in a few spots, you were off the beat, but it happens. I was most impressed with the stellar improvisation. It fit the song very well.
