Rob i would just like to congratulate you on this absolutely unforgettabe prize, what was it really like to go down there? and was it as good in reality as it would have been in your thoughts before you went down?
The ship in itself is not a grave it is a ship one of the most famous of ships but a ship none the less and should be rasied for that one reason all alone those who think they can legislate the ones who can raise it should get out of the way and let us raise what we can pf the ship so we can have a real lok at it up here there are ways to rasie it even now but wait to much longer and it will be far to late raose it now!
its a bit hard to imagine the scale of the Ship's size due to the fact that the atlantic Ocean is huge!! but that was the best close-up footage i think i've seen of it.
Wow.. I was thinking when I was the footage of the wreck, would they ever dig it up from the ocean and try to restore it? that'd be neat to see, but I don't think it would be appreciated.
Rob, could you please give your views on the salvage of artifacts from the wreck. I see they ran out of time so would be good to hear what you wantesd to say.
My own personal view and worry is that the wreck will loose it's mystique with alot of the artifacts gone from the wreck and just left a pile of twisted metal.
Hi, My personal view is that certain objects like dinner plates, cups, bottles, etc (of which there are thousands) are fine to bring up as once they are gone, there gone. However personal effects such as wallets, suitcases, shoes, etc should be left as they are essentially gravemarkers. It's a bit of a hot potato subject as everyone has different opinions. Some people think the whole ship should be brought up! (even though it's impossible) Hope this answers your question.
Wow you are really lucky to have gone down there, if i was down there i would have not been able to stop crying thinking of all those souls that had been taken that night it sunk, so lucky once in a lifetime shot really well done :D !!
If i went down to Titanic today if i did got that chance i should have get panic on the uboat cuze its so deep down there its take 2 hours to get to the bottom and then its take to find the Wreck.
And its very very very dark down there 4000 metres down to the wreck OMG i had swimed maybe :S
the Titanic is rusting away :'( WHY!
