I am aware that the Wehrmacht was only for ethnic Germans. This is why when doing research I come across SS units who were not German nationals. Hitler liked any Northern European who would stand with him against the communists. His favorite was obvious.

@greatlotrfan I was a paratrooper so yes I can say that, I'm referencing training level here not weaponry. Yes German warfare was better, and we copied it and we currently wear a helmet that is very much like the German WWII helmet. I have trained with the German army and I think they are arguably the best in NATO. I agree America has some things to be ashamed of, but as an Individual I have only helped the German army and have done nothing against Germans, just make friends.

A book like "Black Edelweiss" discusses training. Infantry soldiers have very similar training, especially in the last 100 years. yea...I agree when we see historical photographs of German Soldiers in WW II & when we see reenactment pictures, we often see differences, cause the German posture of WW II always slim & athletics cause Gymnastic they received during basic soldiering & rigorous battles (always run/move, lack of food/supplies etc.) that they experience, it tells us why?

Nothing sucks more than an MG jam, I can tell you that. Had a combat exercise last week, my MG fucked up much like here in this vid. The blanks we were using were some Chinese plastic pieces of shit, too weak to cycle the gun properly, basically putting two of our three MGs out of action. Worst of all, the idiot that was supposed to carry my back-up piece was still loitering in the rear.
In other words, had it been a real battle, I wouldn't be posting this now.

The MG42 operator needs to learn how to use that thing. He looked confused and wasnt firing it correctly. There are stories of german soldiers firing 42's non stop for over 5 hours...only switching barrels and re loading. This guy could barely shoot this thing on a mount on semi bursts...geez

yea...I agree when we see historical photographs of German Soldiers in WW II & when we see reenactment pictures, we often see differences, cause the German posture of WW II always slim & athletics cause Gymnastic they received during basic soldiering & rigorous battles (always run/move, lack of food/supplies etc.) that they experience, it tells us why?

Nothing sucks more than an MG jam, I can tell you that. Had a combat exercise last week, my MG fucked up much like here in this vid. The blanks we were using were some Chinese plastic pieces of shit, too weak to cycle the gun properly, basically putting two of our three MGs out of action. Worst of all, the idiot that was supposed to carry my back-up piece was still loitering in the rear.
In other words, had it been a real battle, I wouldn't be posting this now.

The MG42 operator needs to learn how to use that thing. He looked confused and wasnt firing it correctly. There are stories of german soldiers firing 42's non stop for over 5 hours...only switching barrels and re loading. This guy could barely shoot this thing on a mount on semi bursts...geez

Someone's gotta be the Germans (Nazis)/British (Red Coats)/Vietnamese (Viet Cong) I think some of you are jealous that it's incredibly difficult to get a firearm in Germany and, as far as I know, that it's illegal to wear WWII era German uniforms.
