Eskimo is like a regional word that white people picked up and used as a everything term for us, and when the eskimo corporations (when we got our rights) in the 70's the circumpolar conference decided for all eskimo peoples to be called "people" wich is just inuit, inuit is plural and inuk is singular, blah blah blah

There is some variation between Greenlandic and Inuktitut, but it is also similar in some ways...both dialects are beautiful in their own ways.
