Visited the American cemitary 3 times. Always go there when i am on holiday in Normandy. Took my kids there. Explained to them that these people are the reason we don't speak german now. Always get my eyes wet when looking at the old man walking over the semitary in saving privat Ryan. Reading the comment of armortror makes me think his iq must be below 80. What's an armortror anyway?..something you take when you cant go to the toilet?

honestly the only good piece of music metallica have ever made, theyre not even metal, apocalyptica have improved by about

10x on all covers, and just for the record, its only a song if it has lyrics to everyone who mentioned it being a song. the music does go well with the video though so not all bad, plus i love this scene of saving private ryan, perhaps if you used apocalyptica's cover instead of the original it would be a bit better;)

im not a metallica HATER. i just perfer apocalptica's covers, they tend to be heavier. why would i go on a metallica video if was? besides, i had already apologised in adance in case id offended anyone. my only problem with metallica is the lack of heavyness in their music. my tastes have changed since i made that last post too, now id only say 5x...

I didnt mean to be so rude but saying that cover songs are better than originals is debatable. I like apocalyptica too but The whole thing about their style keeps them from being truly Heavy Metal.....or at least the metal part. They defenetly are unique thats for sure.

Saving Private Ryan is a Jingoistic piece of american tripe which has no real basis in fact whatsoever, The film makes out that the d-day landings where a success solely because of the americans with the only mention of the british being, where is Monty, he's always late this couldnt be further from the truth

Firstly the d-day landings wouldnt have succeeded if the british didnt have rommell believing they were two weeks away so he took a holiday, While the birtish managed to secure their objectives fairly quicly the americans and canadians both got bogged down and required assistance from british Cruisers

The americans also lost a third of their paratroops due to bad intelligence the landed in a whole area of farmland thet the Germans had flooded and drowned in the mire

Its not the quality of the movie im talking about the inaccuracy of the history annoys me so yes it does spoil the movie for me, there are some great actors in it
