  • Oh man, i was ocnfused, until i watched your video. You're the greatest man!

  • thank you very much. due,I wasted 1 year finding a small form video card...now im going to find a bracket... =))

    nice work!! =D

  • O fuck you lol XD

  • i love you sarcastically!

  • Is it possible to use the VGA port with the low profile bracket? I have a low profile computer, but I can only use a VGA port.

  • @tazer95 As long as the VGA on the card stays plugged in, you can still use it.

  • you suck , not helpfull at all , fuck you ,

  • You can spare a port by getting a vga to dvi converter, for like 7 bucks

  • You look like Young Dave Mustaine

  • Will I actually NEED to plug anything in that red VGA socket or whatever for the gfx card to work? or will it automatically use that over any board graphics?

  • i am thinking of buyying a new graphics car ...but not sure ...which one to buy..

i have an old pc ...nd i am upgrading it....its a pentium 4 processor.....help me out..

  • @edward4955 You have to research that yourself. Find out the model of your computer and then look for GPU's that are compatible with it and an expansion card slot.

  • Thx bro!

  • pinche gringo

  • Okay . Thanks . But I Still Wish I Could Have It Asap . Cause I Buy The Wrong Graphics . I Should Have Pick the One With Desktop Size Bracket .

  • Sir . Mine Is The Other Way Round . Mine Is ATI Radeon X300 / X550 / X1050 . I Want To Change The Bracket To The Big Desktop One . Do You Have One ? Please Tell Me Where To Get Them .

  • @97221135 I would look on eBay. But mine was just laying around.

  • hey i need help, i already installed a low profile video card before, but i just bought the hd 5570 2gb and im replacing the hd 4350, so how would i do that? I know how to take it out and put it in and stuff but how do I uninstall the hd 4350? i looked on google and couldnt find anything.

  • @VaconCamp What you should do is go into Add or Remove programs and see if your video card is in there to uninstall.

  • whats a good graphics card so i can play games like league of legends and minecraft ?

  • @boomsaway3 This card is good for minecraft.

  • Help me my graphics card is not being recognised its not being recognised

  • @saeid114 I can't really help. You'll have to look your questions up on Google.

  • @WirelessHotShot i did that but there was nothing to fix it for me.

  • @saeid114 I wish I could help, but there's not much I can do to help. I would tell you to make sure your graphics card is fully compatible with your computer and try to reinstall it.

  • @WirelessHotShot how can i reinstall it? and how do i know that it is compatible with my PC?

  • "Oh, Fuck you!" hahaha, anyways thanks for the video it helped :D

  • i have a slim line pc with intel core2 quad, 4gb ram and 500gb hard drive. Im thinking of getting Sapphire Radeon HD 5570 for it but it says it needs a minimum of 400w to run and i dont think i have that much power. Will it still be able to run games? Or do i need to get a new power supply?

  • @123twist123tie It will say it needs 400w

But that is only recomended. The Power supply is only for the fan, and in that case, it isn't needed, but helps make it faster. It will run on a 350w, But just slower, not getting as much air in,

but most of it, as i said, is optional

  • @TheHugeTuber Yes I know. Someone all ready pointed that out.

  • I hate slim towers !!!!!!!!!:-ODDSODOSPDOS

  • @WirelessHotShot I have an emachines et1352-53 should I get a low profile card or Just a normal size one, thanks

  • @MrDeuchbag You should get a normal size card. That will give you more options on what to get.

  • Hey i got the same PC 530s slimline, im looking for forward on buying a HD 5570 SAPPHIRE you think that'll be great for it?

  • dell vostro 200's a bitch to find a video card for. think i'm going to get a hd 5570!

  • The ATI HD5450 I'm trying to install has a fan. I don't know if it will exactly fit in the case. Any help?

  • @saguy98 If it won't fit, it won't fit. You can't take the fan off or it will overheat and damage stuff.

  • @WirelessHotShot Hm, damn.

  • wow..... tnx sir...... i like your instructional video it realy helps my computer..

  • sir, good day can i instal that to my PC?

this is my pc i wonder that it cannot be fit into the casing because of smaller than the standard cpu casing.

    Emachines EL-1850

    please help me sir... tnx

please look at the computer case tnx

  • @mizchelle07sanchez This graphics card is designed for small towers like that, so yes it will work and fit as long as you have the necessary port to plug it in.

  • @WirelessHotShot Hey since mine tower is not a slimline, I dont have to install the low profile bracket right?

  • @TheHaloDon Correct!

  • @WirelessHotShot Hey Man I'm getting a Acer Aspire M3910-2 and i was wondering if the Graphics card will go in this Please Help me :) Nice Video btw :D

  • @VibranttHD Yep. This card is an PCIe x16 and that computer has a slot for it.

  • @WirelessHotShot ok thanks man i subbed!

  • dude its not 'low-profile' its good ;)

  • @Warfreak57 What do you mean?

  • @WirelessHotShot haha, nothing ;) i luv this card =]

  • My pc wont start after installing 5450(sapphire) :(, When i start my pc after installing this card it wont start :( , dont know the problem!!!

  • @Manfrommars1991 I can't help with every single problem. You'll have to look it up on yourself. Sorry.

  • @WirelessHotShot ,thanks for the comment :) i solved the problem.

  • @Manfrommars1991

bro your power supply is probs too shit to even run the card.

check the specs of the card and see how much wattage it takes to run it.

chances are your psu doesnt supply enough of it..

  • @jhuf16 , thanks for your comment :) i took my pc to repair, they said-- its not the card problem, it is because my mother boards pci-express slot is damaged......, so i changed my mother board , and now its working fine :)

  • I have the same exact computer as that. And i did not know i can put in a graphics card. Helped me alot bro. Thx

  • dude great video!! great idea for the vga port

  • @sheek1982 Thanks. Check out my new version of this for even more ideas and clarification. /watch?v=dUl0sJ-SK8s

  • @WirelessHotShot the link dont work and when i install the drivers it say not hardware not compatible what does that mean

  • @weedyak Go to my channel and it will be the second video. Look at that and see if that helps you.

  • is seperating the programs with the brackets neccessary? I have a HP tower and I turn it on and the fans start going only on high and stay like that and my monitor remains black, what could b e my problem? I've tried everything I could think of......

  • i installed mine but the screen has gone black if i remove the card the screen comes on why is that

  • @weedyak I'm not so sure why that is. But I've been thinking a lot about a making a step-by-step video explaining EVERYTHING so I can help people out.

  • Thank you fro makeing this video itt really healpfull

  • what about the 6pin power connector for gcie dont you connect that to the graphics card

  • @weedyak Nope. You don't need any extra cables. As long as you have the card and the card slot, you are all set.

  • hey how the hell did u get that card running on your tiny ass psu or power supply it looks like a slim 250 watt which I have

  • i have a question how is the power supply connected to the graphics card

  • @weedyak It's powered through the card slot.

  • @WirelessHotShot why you remved the VGA ?

  • @1MREVERYTHING I didn't

  • insperon 530s?

  • @zeboy90 Yep.

  • @WirelessHotShot thats what i have, I was wondering how this graphics card would do agains games like modern warfare 2 or crysis

  • HD5450 isn't AGP.

    /facepalm.

  • @CreasedVermin2 Yep, we figured that out. haha.

  • Can I put it in the PCI slot if i dont have the advanced graphics slot? (Im not sure if i have the graphics slot but i know for a fact i have the PCI Slot)

  • @1joel8 I was wrong, this card is a PCI x16 not an AGP, but you can't place an AGP in a PCI. They are completely different.

  • @WirelessHotShot Well i found out i have PCI x16 and 2 PCI-E

  • Hey I might be getting this card but a 2gb version. So far, is this an alright card? What games do you play?

  • @TheWastelandExpert This is a really good card for my needs which is dual screening and HD YouTube videos. But gaming is also nice. I play Counter Strike Source and GTA IV mostly. But with a 2GB version, you should be able to play GTA IV in higher settings.

  • @WirelessHotShot yeah i'm surprised i found a 2gb version for only 80 bucks. I'll mostly be playing fallout, which I know is not even close to being as demanding as gtaIV or crysis. Do you think ill be able to run fallout on ultra?

  • @TheWastelandExpert Probably not Ultra but at least high settings. Not so sure though. If it doesn't work, just send it back.

  • @WirelessHotShot so if you get a good graphics card do you plug the vga cable into the card or the computer, or does it matter?

  • @TheWastelandExpert You get the card and (in this case) the card had an HDMI, DVI, and VGA. I plugged the DVI into one monitor and the VGA into the second monitor.

  • This was very helpful. Thank you! :D

  • Are you on a dell inspiron 530 slim? I'm using the same one :D

  • @iDrStix Yep that's what I have :D

  • thank you so much. so helpful.

  • can you install this on a laptop or notebook?

  • @LordFitzy No.

  • Is Sapphire 4350 any good cuz it's like 25 quid at my local pc shop and I want to play games like sto and cod

  • @cooldude360MODS The 4350 is not as good as the 5450 but it could play some games. But it won't play cod and other games like that very well, if at all. I'd recommend spending a little bit more money for a better card.

  • Dell studio slim 540s?

If so I have the same and just installed a low profile nvidia geforce 9500gt 1gbddr2

  • @llKiZ No, I have a Dell Inspiron 530s. Very similar though.

  • any tips on how to install a graphics card on a sx2801-07e machine? which cards would you recommend(below 80$)? i was thinking about a radeon 4550 to run fallout 3 bcuz the gma x4500 sucks rlly bad

  • @tdbnasc3 It seems that the 4550 would work. I'm not sure about how great the 4550 is but it's defiantly better than the X4500.

  • @WirelessHotShot haha anything is better than my intel gma4500(they are known to produce really bad quality graphics cards) but what i heard is that a readeon 4550 or 4650 would just as powerful as a GeForce 9300 or something like it, but can u recommend me a specific graphics card that would fit into my tower model?(below 80$ again lol) and if possible, recommend a source too because i really want to play fallout 3 with better quality because right now,im running it on lowest and its rlly laggy

  • @tdbnasc3 With all that you want, you should consider a new computer. I'm not real smart with the graphics cards so I'll just end up leading you in the wrong direction man haha, sorry. Good luck at finding something though. Tell me what you end up getting and how it worked out for you.

  • @WirelessHotShot i think its unnecessary because my computer is alright, 6gb ram and 1tb hard drive, the only problem is the graphics card which is pretty bad,but im already taking care of that,i think that this card DIAMOND AMD ATI Radeon™ HD 4550 PCIE 512MB GDDR3 Low Profile Video Card

Bus Type: PCI Express x16 would be a good card for it

  • @tdbnasc3 Sounds good. And if it doesn't work out, send it back and get another one. That's what I did. I get a card a year and a half ago and it didn't work. So I go this one a year later and it worked perfect haha.

  • fyi that is a PCI-E not agp... trust me, if that was AGP there would be two breaks in the final connection

  • @ironheart34 I later figured out that it was PCIx16 or whatever. I'm not so smart of the graphics cards. Thanks for clarifying.

  • you rock, thanks! for a second i thought I got ripped off but i just had to take off the brackets lol.

  • Oh man, you save me the video is perfect.

    Thanks you.

    :)

  • @Hammerh5 You're welcome! :D

  • Thanks for this vid. This is exactly the information I was looking for.

  • @doive1231 You're welcome!

  • Dude first thing, OMFG THANK YOU, ive been racking my brain trying to figure out what card i need for my eMachine EL1352-01e mini tower, i knew that the video card i got when i bought it wouldnt fit it but i didnt know what to get. Thanks alot so much, and one more thing, you can reply or send a message, what video card and power supply do you think i can upgrade to with about $100-$200 bucks? Maybe $300 depending on the stats. Any higher and ill just save for a new pc in whole. Thanks again!

  • @Vamp7414 Haha you're welcome. But if you want to upgrade around $200, you cold save up and get a new computer with better specs and it will be better. But I'm not so sure what would be the best power supply and stuff for everything you need. I'm not so smart at that stuff. But you won't need the best power supply. I'm running on a 220w power supply with this card running dual screens and I have no power issues.

  • do all low profile graphics cards come with a spare low profile back plate?

  • @stip27 I'm pretty sure they should, because it would be really hard to find a low profile bracket. So they all should.

  • So I can't use VGA with a low profile bracket?

  • @jjreyesuplay No, you CAN use it.

  • rofl @ 2:17 xD

    Nice vid, thanks dude.

  • nice video on installing a low profile card. what video card is that? where do u buy it from?

  • @geekong Read the description. I got it from TigerDirect

  • Comment removed

  • @SuB23vry1 You have to use the DVI, VGA, or HDMI cable to connect it to a monitor. And the only blue thing I see in the video is my blue SATA cable. That's for transferring data from the motherboard to the harddrive very quickly. That has nothing to do with installing the graphics card.

  • your motherboard supports pci 2.0 right?

  • @canojeffrey I don't think so. PCI x16 and PCIe

  • @WirelessHotShot coz i read in forums that 5450 doesn't work with pci x16 1.0

    what is your motherboard?

  • @canojeffrey I don't really know my motherboard. I don't have time to look it up. Do you need to know badly?

  • are there any low profile cards that bring the small bracket already

  • how many watts is your psu? im gonna run it on a 220w.

  • @chris98104 I think mine is 220w and it works perfectly.

  • @WirelessHotShot thanks mate :D

  • is this dell studio slim 540s? If so Ive got the same and Im thinking about installing 9500 gt (low profile), and I was wondering if the psu would be able to handle it, because Ive heard dell uses proprietary psu's in these computers...

  • which is better buy for my HP slimline s5000 series 220W EVGA GT 430 or HD 5570?

  • @LifeonRice1 I'm not so sure. I'm not so great with GPUs. You'd have to research that yourself.

  • has your computer overheated? i have a hp slimline s500 series 220W PSU

  • @LifeonRice1 Nope, it has never overheated due to this graphics card.

  • @WirelessHotShot are there any low profile cards that bring the small bracket already

  • how much does a 1gb graphic card low profile cost

  • @chetron21 Probably $50

  • @WirelessHotShot hey thanks man I will look forward to buy it from ebay do I have to buy that LP bracket separately?

  • @chetron21 No they come with it. :)

  • thats PCI express 16x not AGP

  • @cbrac22 Is it? I get so confused. Lol. Thanks.

  • hey dude its me again

my computer wasnt working due to a faulty graphics card

so i ordered a new one, the same exact one, and its still not working!

i put it on correctly and everything!

it works when the graphics card is not in, but when its in it doesnt work?!

  • @remembamlilf Give me the specs to your computer and the specs of your graphics card you are trying to install. And are you trying to install it in AGP or PCI-E?

  • @WirelessHotShot

my computer is an acer aspire x1700

the graphics card is a geforce g100 512 mb ddr2

and thanks for responding dude : )

  • @remembamlilf Haha no problem. My life revolves around computers. Are you installing this in an AGP or PCI-E? And do you have any other cards that are in your PCI-E slots?

  • @WirelessHotShot im pretty sure its pci

its a low profile graphics card

and no theres not any other cards

  • @remembamlilf Hmm, my suggestion would be to make sure you have your video cable plugged into your graphics card your trying to install. If you already have that done and it still doesn't work, plug your cable into the built-in port (while keeping the graphics card in the slot. And then take the graphics card out and keep your cable in the built-it (on board) and tell me the results.

  • @WirelessHotShot oh hey i comp to work!!

....but with out the graphics card

see i used a vga cable(blue one) and pluged it directly into my comp

i guess that means im running integrated graphics???

but yea i still need my video card to work plz help me out!!

  • @remembamlilf Well what I did with mine was I plugged my NEW graphics card in and then booted it up with the VGA connected to the NEW card. Then I inserted the CD's and followed the on-screen guide.

  • @WirelessHotShot well you see the thing is that my computer wont even boot up whether the new or old video card in inserted!

(i checked the fan moves for like 1/4 a sec but thats it)

and my video card uses this cable with white ends instead of blue, is that still vga?

  • @remembamlilf The color doesn't matter, you can have a black VGA and a yellow DVI, the amount of pins and how they are aligned is how you know what it is. Google VGA and DVI and you'll see a difference. For your computer problem, something might be wrong with your jumpers. It's starting up enough just to move your fans but then your computer shuts off. Look that up. It might be a problem with your motherboard.

  • nice vid man

u know any good cheap video cards that can run games like black ops

(on like on all low setting i dont mind)

  • @remembamlilf Well, the very nice graphics card will run almost any game now-a-days, but a cheap one, I'm not really sure. The PREDICTED graphics card requirement says nearly the same as GTA IV, so this graphics card I have (HD 5450) would run it on low settings. But the game hasn't come out yet and no one knows the specs needed to run the game.

  • wow dude thanks this helped im prob gonna by the same card u have soon and im gonna need some help and this vid helped thanks

  • @zero0infinitelife haha, I was surprised I helped someone. I figured I'd get a lot of rude comments saying I did it wrong or what not. lol. But yeah man no problem. If you need any extra help, I will be here to assist you. Just personal message me.

  • @WirelessHotShot thanks and do u kno the best low profile graphics card currently avalible? is it the 5570?

  • @zero0infinitelife I'm not much of an expert on GPU's but the 5570 is more powerful than the 5450. But the best low profile graphics card, you'll have to look that up. They usually don't get very powerful because they are low profiled.

  • @WirelessHotShot ah tru dat damn that rlly sucks though i mean small pcs own
