  • Any "belligerent" act and you may be deemed a threat.

  • the senate already passed it last week i think they called it SB 1867 and obama is supposedly trying to veto it.. doesnt sound like it.

  • This is scary. I found this video from my college professor and it does not make the future look to bright. I hope more people can open their eyes and realize what is happening.

  • um proposing to who? i'm not educated for this speech..whats going on? How exactly wouldn't nwo succeed..Don't they have more power even outnumbered.?I dont know about you but i'm not the one funding operations or even manually building the remote controlled water valves in spokane's water supplies...No one in my family thinks any of this exists..what do i do? Arent some of you hunching that maybe Obama is a terrorist? Why can't he be arrested?

  • um proposing to who? i'm not educated for this speech..whats going on?

  • I don't believe it. MSNBC criticizing Obama??? Normally they (and Rachel here) sing his praises and demonize anyone who opposes him, his policies, or liberals. How did this get through?

Maybe they're beginning to see what the Marxist-in-Chief is really all about. What do you expect from someone who is good friends with Bill Ayers.

Of course, this won't apply to Ayers or other lefties. Only us military veterans and other true patriots who believe in the Constitution. We are the threat.

  • Norton Vs Shelby County: An unconstitiutional act is not law, it confers no rights and imposes no duties, affords no protections, it creates no office, it is in legal contemplation as inoperative as if it had never been passed.

  • BILL OF RIGHTS

    1. Grants freedom of worship, speach & press; the right to petition the government & to assemble peacefully.

    2. Secures the right of citizens to bear arms.

    3. Assures that troups may not be quartered in private homes without the owners consent.

    4. Guards against unreasonable searches, arrests & seizures of property

  • BILL OF RIGHTS (cont.)

    5. Requires indictment by a grand jury for major crimes before trial; forbids repeated trials for the same

offense & punishment without due process; prevents people from being required to testify against

    themselves.

    6. Guarantees a speedy public trial by an unbiased jury for criminal offenses; grants legal council for the

accused & asserts that witnesses must attend the trial in the presence of the accused.

  • BILL OF RIGHTS (cont.)

    7. Guarantees trial by jury in civil cases for anything valued at more than $20.00.

    8. Prohibits excessive bail & cruel or unusual punishment.

    9. Confirms that people also have rights other than those mentioned in the constitution.

    10. Declares that power not delegated to the federal government belong to the states or to the people.

  • This world is going nuts Matilda!!

So...this Obamas' answer to Guantanamo? Make a "legal team" up to handle the new"plan", for the new Presidents.... "Preventative/Prolonged Detention Plan". Pffffttttttttt!!

    God Help Us All!!

  • Great joke, and thanks!

It might surprise you that I'm already a strict Constitutionalist. (I also make up big words in my free time). I believe the trend in government is self-serving, and the two-party system is a joke. I believe the fate of this country is in the hands of people who aren't just ignorant, they WANT to be pampered and 'defined'.

A guy walks into a doctor's office with a duck on his head. The doctor says, "Can I help you". The duck replies, "Ya, get this guy off my ass".

  • In case you weren't looking this is a very serious matter - as such I wasn't expecting a comedian to comment.

As far as the 'extreme absurdity' being humor, yes it is, that is one of the reasons I love Monty Python and the like. But when you've seen some of the ridiculous comments I've seen when discussing politics, your post wasn't standing out at all - it simply blended with the cooky responses I've already seen.

And I agree, there is no humor when people's lives & rights are at stake.

  • I dare you to tell me a joke.

  • A man sees his neighbor with a bunch of wild monkeys in his yard. The man asks about them and the neighbor says, "Don't worry, I'm going to take these monkeys to the zoo tomorrow."

So the next day, the man sees his neighbor, and to his amazement, the neighbor still has the monkeys.

"I thought you said you were going to take those monkeys to the zoo yesterday!", he said.

The neighbor replied, "I did, and today I'm going to take them to the movies."

  • Now that you've 'broken me free from the humorless life I've been living' - can we get back to serious comments befitting a serious video about a serious problem with our country?

Don't be one of the non-thinking masses that allow themselves to be entertained from becoming aware.

  • It's an option, and a viable one. Of course we could also give them milk and cookies. What would justify any course of action other than due process? You need to lighten up.

  • You call that a viable option? Wow - you need to study your history and Constitution.

And, to answer your question, in a republic, which our country is supposed to be, NOTHING other than due process is a proper course of action. To do otherwise makes us no better than the enemy we oppose.

I'll lighten up once you smarten up.

  • LOL It was a joke! You're not helping your humorless cause, by the way. I stroll in here and pick the most meaningless part of the video you posted to suggest an absurdly viable solution to a nagging problem, and in many ways, in many cultures, extreme absurdity is considered humor. But not for you. You won't look down your nose off your high horse to bother with a quick chortle at a passing peasant's comments. Sad, and yes, I am having fun at your inanity. Please browbeat me some more.

  • Here's how you solve the Guantanamo problem. Put the detainees on a ship and set sail for Saudi Arabia. Let pirates take over the ship. Do you think we'd have a problem blowing it out of the water then?

  • So you agree with the concept of killing someone without the due process of law?

I'm certain that you are aware that the majority of those detainees haven't even been actually charged with a crime yet you would have them killed based merely on an accusation.

    Interesting.

  • Whenever people cut and paste video with their commentary they can make it say what they want it to say. This video commentary is putting words in the President mouth and putting her spin in what he said or in this case did not say.

  • While I agree that the format (cut and paste video with their commentary) used can be done in such a way as to allow a large/disproportionate amount of 'spin' to occur; I must ask you, have you read the various articles (from the established media - not the quacks) concerning Obama's plan? You'll find that what this reporter is essencially right on target; Obama is constructing an unlawful "legal framework" that is clearly outside his powers as president that flies in the face of jurisprudence.

  • If thats the case i wish i had a time machine so that I could arrest everyone in the NWO for crimes against the constitution and against a Sovereign nation.

  • this is getting better and better.

i mean that with every ounce of sarcasm my body offers....and that is a pantload.

5*****'s. keep bringing this to us!!!

  • All the Govt is doing is hiding dictatorship under fancy words.

  • "... using words which we won't understand..." (in the words of Pink Floyd)

You are so right. And the average dumbed-down American doesn't pick up on it. They don't understand that when the Government says something "is good for us" that we the People aren't included in that statement. "Us" means the group that is doing the talking - the corporate government (in this example)! Ppl are idiots.

  • Nice Pink Floyd Quote! I always thought MSNBC was a corrupt media station just like the rest. Maybe not?

  • Bush already passed that power he signed it in, this is delayed news, they can throw anybody in jail anytime without any reason with no trial, this is to serve the NWO to bypass all sovereignty nations all over the globe at anytime. if you consolidate power to one source it can convict anyone at anytime anywhere thats big brother if I ever heard it everyone is innocent until proven guilty when the system falls everyone will want to riot they will be imprisoned

  • We gotta impeach Pelosi first. Because she'll kill off HR 1207. She's already killed off impeachment of Bush/Cheney.

Write and fax a letter to congress to propose legislation of impeaching Pelosi.

  • Not a bad idea!

  • this is called "cooling the matk". one con man works the con -- bush -- his partner tells the mark -- America -- that the con wasn't that bad, that it could happen to anyone...

  • obama stop being a puppet and do whats right. your souls on the line

  • Exactly, he's a wolf in a sheeps clothing.

We gotta get Pelosi impeached first. Any bill like HR 1207 will likely get killed off by her or Barney Frank.

We have a congress who is supposed to have more power than the President. We've propped up the power of the President for way too long.

  • hmphhhh I am not american but as wish as I think he was talking about incarcerating Rockefellers bush admin his on himself Rothschilds and the rest of CFR Tc Bilderberg and anyone else i have left out! Oh wait Kim J lee is it of N'Korea is a potentila threat hmphhhh a excuse to go to war were china goes w ehave had enough you owe us load of money we fed up waiting we going to team p wit N'Korea and punish u for not paying

  • ~With all sincerity Obama, you are a true piece of shit. A traitor to the American Constitution and to the American way. You and your pal's over seas New World Order and its agenda will not succeed!

  • He's also a coverup for the Neo-cons and the Israeli Lobby. We need to impeach Pelosi first and several senators and congressman afterwards.

  • And congress person or senator who votes FOR a bill that is in DIRECT conflict with the bILL OF RIGHTS OR constitution SHOULD BE LABELED a CONSTITUTIONAL TERRORIST by ALL patriot movement members.

The patriot movement needs a terrorist watch list of their own and I think we should start with WATCHING those people we have entrusted our freedoms to.

  • I like the way you think, sir. :-)

  • The positive out of all of this could be the rising anger towards both parties. If everyone loathes both parties (to the extreme) then perhaps we can achieve our goals in our epic quest for Liberty.

  • Agreed. And a similar precedent has already happened. (Pardon the 'code' in posting this URL):

    newsobserver(dot)com/front/story/1518423(dot)html

  • just remember one thing, for all the bs laws they want to pass, they always need to set up a precedent, today is the terrorists tomorrow it will be you the ones getting it.

  • Absolutely correct, and look how easy he made it to change the definition of "terrorist".

He talks about people "plotting to take American lives". So does that include the people "plotting" to take the lives of traitors to the U.S. Constitution? You bet it does!

Anyone else notice that whenever they talk about "terrorists" they no longer talk about the Middle East? Now suddenly, all the terrorists and their "training camps" are in the U.S.!!

And still, the people refuse to wake up.

  • This is why we should have impeached Bush/Cheney +...you know,to set an example for future Presidents and staff and to remind them that they have taken an oath to UPHOLD our Constitution.Of course, now that Obama is in office,I'm sure he thinks he's above he's above reproach.Obama can't (won't ?) even prove he is indeed an American citizen. I think we should all be keeping a close eye on him and then be ready to impeach if his actions merit our reaction to do so. We are losing our rights here.

  • Yeah, we SHOULD have, and Nancy Polosi was screaming for their heads - that is, until AFTER she was re-elected.

  • Just because Bush is gone, don't make it necessarily to give us a Pre-Bush era.

Get Pelosi impeached first. We should fax a letter to our representatives to propose legislation to impeach Pelosi.

  • I'm not telling my representative squat! Unless its reading them charges. They are all a part of this. They are not representing me. They wish to enslave and kill me. Suggestion: Lets leave their legislation in place long enough (selectively enforced of course) to do away with ALL of them that have not spoken up for us. Then we dont have to deal with the time, expense or hassle of trials. We can waterboard confessions out of them and execute them!!!
