Thats not a bic, a bic doesn't have the adjuster on the back. That lighter all you do is take off the metal gaurd on the top and adjust the pin all the way over, lift, move back and repeat. 2 or 3 times is sufficient.

The lighter needs to have a dial that adjusts the height of the flame. You bust off the metal cover over the dial, and you will see a notched wheel attached to the dial. Just maneuver the dial so it keeps turning the notched wheel around and around to let more fuel out. It needs to be lit by a 2nd lighter. Hope that helps, thanks for watching!
