You can take out the flex, heat it up with solder gun/torch and coat it up good with solder. I have since replaced mine with .098" flex and coupler - way better. I am using stock prop in this vid, thus the hand launch. But I have found that 29mm props make it jump up onto plane much better

no prob, the prop is a 31mm diameter. It actually gets up on plane by itself and goes maybe 10% faster

straight from the box! I did find that a different prop actually kicks it up a notch.
