I am proud to live in a state that ALLOWS women to have access to the birth control pill and devises. Men access to condoms and keeps a pregnancy between a woman and her gynecologist. Limited government FTW!
Keep big brother off of our reproductive organs you communist.
I agree that the bill is flawed, in that just as Johanna stated, it basically indicates that while the heartbeat is an indicator of life, the bill gives the idea that the detectable heartbeat is what gives the unborn child the right to live, when we know that the child has the right to life from conception, and that right was bestowed upon the child from God Almighty. May we never compromise on the right to life, but always trust in God that he will give us the grace to do the right thing.
"of life, the bill gives the idea that the detectable heartbeat is what gives the unborn child the right to live, when we know that the child has the right to life from conception"
and the first half of your sentence was doing so well, what a pity.
- you fail to provide any basis as to why a zygote is entitled to human rights whilst a sperm/egg (individually or as an unfused pair are not)
"and that right was bestowed upon the child from God Almighty"
Your beliefs arnt worth jack:
- You live in a secular democracy (not a theocracy) and if you cant logically justify your beliefs in a manner that applies to all people THEN YOU HAVE NO ARGUMENT.
When will it be the "right" time? We've waited what, 40 years? 53 million kids are dead, God only knows how many women as well. Time to step up, we have to start somewhere, and here's hoping the Pro-Lifers who are against this, realise that. If it fails, it fails, but 4,000 children will still be killed regardless today in America.
Thank you AmericanLifeLeague for standing against this and Janet Porter's self-righteous ego.
