WOW! That roll is HOT! Thanks for posting it, I love Pete Wendling's rolls. On the restoration ,did you restore the stack and valves as well? Can't remember if it was Standard or Simplex that used unit-valves...

Post more hot rolls please when you have time, I'd love to hear some Clarence Johnson or Jimmy Blythe if u have any of their rolls.

thanks for the compliment, simples uses unit valves. i recovered the stack pneumatics but left the valves and pouches alone. the pouches were still very flexible. i love these older qrs rolls, they have a personality missing in the later ones, they actually sound hand played.
