My father and older brother worked there. I once was going to an interview for a job there turned away from the gate's. I just couldnt see any future there for Shipwrites?(my brother's trade).

@Richie979 I am a shipbuilder 043 crane maint worked refinery work beforehand and yes born in birkenhead lol
that was great - this helps me appreciate my late Grandad's job as a ship builder on Cammell Lairds.
