Thanks for the vid, have mine working great. But two questions, do I have to use deamontools lite to run iso's? And I think in the last video you said you were using a program to run the controller. ePSXe is not recognizing my Logitech Rumblepad 2.

@lockhorntwo Hi there np and no you don't you just use the iso to play the game, just open it through run iso in epsxe. img files work too btw! so do .bins. and to be honest i've never used a controller or mentioned it in my videos that i can recall but it IS possible to use controllers with these emulators however I've never done much research into it. Try googling using controllers on epsxe im sure something will come up, you can do it for pcsx2 so I don't see why not epsxe

@17shinryuken What the heck... Do you mean like it opens and stops responding? Or just black screens? all I can say is double check your plugins first and if that fails get a new rom cause I've had those problems before with bad roms :/

THANK YOU SO MUCH! After trying to do this myself all day I gave up and sought out your advice here :) And in under an hour I had epsxe running! Only thing I'd recommend is that you fix, or add some more, links as those one's wouldn't work for me and I had to find my own.

Again, thank you! Now I can finally sit back and enjoy some of my all time favourite ps1 games like Legend of Dragoon!

P.S. Loved rocking out to the music while I had all of this going on ;D haha

Hey, man. I am trying to play a game using epsxe and everytime I try to run the .iso file, the program shows up like its gonna play, but all it gives me is a black screen. I tried also using a .bin conversion of the forementioned .iso, but it still didn't work. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong here?

@360dbzboy hey yeah, it might be the iso is wrong? and if its an iso dont convert it. if its a .bin or .iso it should work fine. but yeah try your graphics plugin first then try redownloading the iso from another source if that still doesn't work. goodluck!

good video sean, I was checking out your video because I was able to get past configuration easy enough but i wanted to see how you loaded ur games. ive been getting alot of my stuff from a great site called emuparadise but my file come as "Final Fantasy VII [NTSC-U] [Disc1of3] [SCUS-94163].bin.ecm" any thoughts on how to use this?

@TravisKiller Hey yeah I know what you're talking about. AN Ecm is just another file extention and I recall on emuparadise theres something that tells u how to convert an ecm to a bin or iso, or just google ecm to iso converter or something. once its an iso you should be good :) goodluck

how come when i press the x in the top left corner to close the program down the window closes but the music of the game still plays and it makes my comp laggy as hell even moreso then it was when i havent closed the game

@Jdo0wnz Hi there! This happened to me a lot before too, all you gotta do is hit the ESC key on your keyboard then click exit on epsxe. Or if this fails, go to task manager then go to processes and look for epsxe.exe. End that process and it will stop :)

@iankobe Hey, well first wrong bios ,you need scph 1001 that's the american one, also .cue? Are you sure it's the right rom? I've only ever used .iso and .bin files for epsxe. I checked epsxe and it should be able to run a .cue file but try changing the bios first + It might be a bad rom. Sorry I couldn't be of more help but try to get a different rom if possible.
