My interpretation is that the song and video are a representation of unity. The two dots start close together. Then a line is drawn between them: "How irresponsible when the line is stretched". The math is showing the relationship between the two dots, which as is pointed out in the video can take many forms, like people.

It is therefore irresponsible to draw a line between one and other and fail to see our relationship as a greater whole.

This is profoundly strange to me: I used to have a recurring nightmare when I was a child which was pretty much exactly this. i.e. Two dots joined by a line, desperately trying to become a triangle, I knew if I didn't solve the puzzle (the dream) then the Universe would cease to exist. Eventually after many years, I solved the puzzle, and the nightmares ceased.

I realised that the missing point (vertex), needed to make a triangle was love, simple as that.

Probably not, they likely just parsed over the song and clicked dislike out of flippant habit. Even less likely, is that someone listened to the song wholly from start to beginning, and then after internal reflection, decided to dislike it. The simplest way usually bears more truth than complexion.
