  • the film wasn't bad in itself, it's the fact they threw game continuity out the window that makes me dislike it

  • honestly the movie sucked in my opinion, the games were way better than the shit they put up on the screen.

  • @burn19ballz Yea, the movie didn't resemble the game at all.

  • @burn19ballz Anything Hollywood touches turns to shit

  • @LieutenantLousyshot you mean IDCLIP?

  • @bluefoxicy That was for Doom2. Doom1 had SPISPOPD.

  • Oh ho ho! Ze French demons are coming to kill you, so Fire ze missiles!

  • From what I know, Doom 3 is a reboot and sure as hell not a remake. Whether you like it or not, that depends, but it's not a remake...

  • 5 people were killed by the cyberdemon

  • "WROAAAARRR!" *clunk, clunk, clunk, CLUNK, CLUNK*

  • @Evertide05 Thumbs up for you, just letting you know.

  • @Evertide05 nice

  • Guys, guys. Doom 3 was a reboot, not a remake. And it failed. It was good, yes, but it's not continuing down that line. John Carmack himself has said that they plan to make Doom 4 more like the original 2.

Also, @Dorda098 DO WANT. Nothing like Lovecraft monsters getting plowed down with a nailgun

  • @theotherdoomguy Carmack sold id software to Bethseda. Shits down the toilet now.

  • @theotherdoomguy yea the creator said doom 4 will take place on earth with hell demons I think it will be fkin awsome as long as he keeps the original monsters and makes the city realistic with more awsome guns including the BFG9000 obvviously. it will be a while before it comes out though because they are working very slowly on it

  • Nothin` like a Damned-Carnival with Cyberdemon shooting galleries!

  • Should be called, "Nobody told me about the Cyberdemon"

  • @pokemaster123ism agreed

  • Doom 3 is a reboot me thinks. They are thinking of doing one for the Quake series, back to fighting Quake. Ah, them joys. Either way, this song is GREAT!

  • Doom 3 is NOT a remake! If it was we would knee deep in the dead while blasting demons in shoot-then-ask-questions style and not a fancy graphics FPS with horror elements!

  • Nobody told me about this great music!

  • reboot, not remake.

  • 5 people got turned into a puddle of former human existence

  • @marcuswargo182 Idiot fail troll fails, there's not much of a comparison. One you didn't have to log into your PDA every 2 minutes. You didn't have to deal with cut-scenes. You booted up the game, loaded the fuckin' gun and blasted every god damned hellish creature and zombie known to man kind, avenging your dead pet rabbit.

  • Nobody told me about Cheney

  • @marcuswargo182 LOL, not even close...

  • 5 people weren't told about ID

  • @marcuswargo182 Where have I seen the name "marcus wargo" before?!

  • @marcuswargo182 Remake of Doom?

    Go home. PLEASE.

  • @marcuswargo182

Too bad it sucks. Go home.

  • Nobody told me how epic this was back on 1995. I always believed that epicness is the word to describe this music.

  • I was taking a test, teacher about to take my mp3 player away, he heard this, nodded and let me keep it. XD

  • I'm glad my friend me about ID, or rather I would never play such amazing games like DOOM! and probably will be some life-less halo or wow player in future :C

  • This game is just IDeal in every way :3

  • 4 people were killed by the cyberdemon

  • @Slaterking2010 I was but I still liked!

  • 261 people defeated the Cyberdemon using fists :D

  • thumbs up if they should start a band that plays all DOOM and Duke songs

  • This is the CYBERDEMONS FUCKING THEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME

  • The first time I entered to that level, I didn't know what was there, and when I opened the four doors and opened fire, I heard that high roar of the CyberDemon I truly panicked (well, I left the volume high) XD

  • Good ol' doom music

  • Carnival of Hell, featuring The Cyberdemon Lord as a special guest...

  • This music brings back great memories. When I was young I opened one of the doors in e2m8 and fired a shot to see who responded. The ensuing "ROAAAAR! Thump thump thump thump" freaked me out so much.

  • Reminds of me of a time when the CyberDemon was actually hard to beat.

  • If you're going to do algebra, you need more lesbian.

  • I thought this was called Tower of Babel? I like this name better anyways haha.

  • @ENEKAGYEPNEN THE Level Episode 2 Mission 8 is named "Tower Of Babel" the track name for it is named "Nobody told me about id".

  • This is the song I play for fanboys of regenerating health that think CoD and Halo are the greatest games ever made. I then proceed to toss the fanboys in barrels and have some fun.

  • @EternalWolf86 Barrels o' fun

  • why did nobody tell him about Id?

  • damn this song it reminds me of cyberhell (cyberdemon)

  • It's time YT added an auto-loop feature. Even If this was the only music in Doom, it would be enough. (IMHO)

  • @JosephMallabar Type in repeat before the .com in the URL.

  • I love the accordion line.

  • Goosebumps D:

  • at 1:10 i picture me spinning in a huge circle with a rocket launcher screaming DIE MOTHA FUCKA DIE!!!

  • @LOEADITO well, he had a pet bunny, hahaha

  • Oh hell yes (No pun intended) the Cyberdemon was fucking awesome. Better than the Spiderdemon, sadly.

  • Youtube has got to get a repeat button.

  • @xMateMirKo or a loop option

  • @xMateMirKo Type in repeat before the .com in the URL.

  • @satinsguard Niiiice... Thanks for the info.

  • Doom has the best game music EVER!

  • thumbs up for of they should make a remake of doom

  • @umz5555 bungie's remaking halo, id has absolutely no excuse not to, it'd be epic.

  • Except that Id are the elder gods of First Person Shooters and wouldn't wanna get mixed up in today's embarrassing excuse for them, you mean?

  • @guitarguy42394 right. as long as they didn't turn it into another doom 3, and stayed true to the plot (what little there was in the first place) it could be great.

  • @guitarguy42394 Yeah and they better make it the same. Not like some other remakes with stupid new shit added.

  • @umz5555 ever played doom 3 classic?

  • @gatoman46 Classic Doom 3 does only include the first Episode...

  • @umz5555 They sort of did. DooM 2 released on XBLA had an extra set of maps or something made for that release. they were amazing but short.

  • @umz5555 They already did, Doom 3

  • @TheStarwarsZXV What I think he means is, a remake of all the old levels, with new graphics and such. Doom 3 was kind of different, in my opinion anyway.

  • @umz5555 Its called Painkiller :)

  • @umz5555 Doomsday?...

  • id = Cyberdaemon

1st part gives pretty doomed feeling, 2nd adds some chaingun to it.

  • @umz5555 the closest ive seen is this being run on a quake engine

  • @umz5555 They already made it. It's called "Doom 3".

  • @umz5555 It should, most importantly, have all the main elements that made the original doom games so great - Not just focusing on hyped up graphics that lose the core values of this great game.

  • @umz5555 Doom 3 is a remake. Derp.

  • @itsWTFtime If you've played Doom 3 you'd know you are absolutely full of crap. Doom 3 has some links from D1-D2 but it is in no way a remake. It has enough of a change to the storyline to almost be considered a seperate game. While some of the lore and monsters are in the game it isn't at all comparable to a remake.

  • @Themothia2

didnt ID said doom 3 was a remake of the first game? yes, a remake, its just that they added storyline and storytelling, because you know doom 1 kind of lacked that.

  • @Themothia2 ITs what people now call a "Reboot"

  • @Themothia2

You have no idea what you're talking about. It's a remake of Doom 1, obviously. Both games are about a marine fighting demons in a space station.

Fuck you single-minded fanboys who refuse to enjoy all three games.

  • @crabfight Ok, Lets See Something.

First, In Doom 1 You Start In An Already Damned Marine Base, Unlike Doom 3 Where You Start In A Normal One

Second, In Doom 3 You Have This Cyberdemon As A Final Boss, In Doom One, The Final Boss Is The Spider Mastermind.

Third, In Doom 1 You Go Back To Earth At The End, Unlike Doom 3 In Which They Only "Rescue" You

Fourth Just Look At The Levels, They Are TOTALLY Different.

Assasins Creed 2 Is About A Killer Killing Ppl But Isnt A Remake Of AC 1

  • @crabfight Plus Dont Think I Didnt Enjoy Doom 3 I Loved It, But Infor Urself Before Aguing

  • @crabfight Fuck you idiots who can't tell the difference between the games :P

Both games have different plot lines entirely which i'm sure you paid no heed to, alas most kids these days dont care about plot they care about explosions and all that other crap. Doom 3 was as theotherdoomguy2 said a reboot. I agree with him entirely that Doom3 failed as a reboot to the doom series and they are going back to the old style but newer graphics.

  • @crabfight However if you actually paid attention Doom 1 & 3 have entirely different beginnings and how things went. I'm sure you didn't play past the first level, but go ahead and pick it up sometime you'll notice how far your head was up your ass in your last comment lol.

  • @crabfight Can't tell if trolling or just very stupid.

  • @Themothia2 Exactly.

Demons, teleporters to hell, weapons, uac.

They are the main simalarities, but thats about it.

  • @Themothia2 yeah, and also in DooM 3 you're on Mars itself, not the moon bases.

  • @Themothia2 I hope Doom 4 will be Doom2 with updated graphics , yet keeping the same feeling...

  • @cxpm777 Ah I hope so too, I'd love to get the old feeling I got from playing Doom II the first time lol

  • @Themothia2 "We are remaking Doom unless you fire all of us." -- John Carmack, ID Software.

There is a significant amount of retcon, but Doom 1 was about demons being unleashed by a teleporter project started on the moons of Mars. Doom 3 was about demons being unleashed by a teleporter project started on the moons of Mars. Doom 1 was very crippled due to lacking tech, says its creators John Carmack and John Romero; and thus Doom 3 was born.

  • @bluefoxicy "We are remaking Doom unless you fire all of us." -- John Carmack, ID Software.

Now for that individual quote are you sure it was meant for the context of Doom 3? I was/am under the impression Doom 3 wasn't a remake and as I have stated earlier, I dont think this was a remake still. Now Doom 4 I am fairly certain is supposed to be more like the Original doom series, where did you find this particular quote and are you sure you got it under the correct parameters for Doom 3?

  • @Themothia2 That quote came from John Carmack's .plan file. I fingered his e-mail address in 2000, and the June 1 version of his .plan file said: "As many people have heard discussed, there was quite a desire to remake DOOM as our next project after Q3." Further discussion (in the same .plan file, a few paragraphs down) referred to it as "We are working on DOOM" and "a new DOOM game," with the word 'remake' dropped.

  • @bluefoxicy Well, I can't say I quite believe you due to the fact that Carmack and Romero were opposed to the idea, "Kevin Cloud and Adrian Carmack, two of id Software's owners, were always strongly opposed to remaking Doom, believing that id was going back to the same formulas and properties too often." Source:Carmack, John (2000-06-01). "1 June 2000 .plan document for Doom 3 " Now going through that and some other misc. data the word remake dropped not from Carmack, but from some of his staff.

  • @Themothia2 Adrian Carmack owns half of ID Software. John Carmack works there as a software developer and project lead. Did you notice your source was John Carmack? Also Kevin Cloud is not John Romero.

  • @bluefoxicy I'm not sure where I pulled John Romero from, I think I may have been watching too many zombie flicks lol

Nonetheless though, I dont think even Adrian Carmack can call D3 a remake of the original 93' version. Well if you can get me a source of Adrian Carmack saying "Doom 3 is a remake" I think we might just get somewhere though :P

  • Comment removed

  • @bluefoxicy I'm a little confused though, Adrian Carmack left ID in 2005... So does he still own 50% of ID's software?

  • @Themothia2 Irrelevant, as this was circa 2000-20001 :)

  • @bluefoxicy Still though Adrian Carmack being opposed to the idea of a remake and being 41% of the company and refusing for the game to be a "remake" would definitely raise a eye-brow on the game being remake or non-remake. Although I'd say there are too many differences between the games anyway to honestly call this a remake. Its literally like comparing assassin's creed II/Revelations. In both you are a assassin in a white suit, weapons etc... but the story isn't the same. Much like D1/D3.

  • @bluefoxicy Now while remake may or may not have dropped, it was still not technically a remake in the normal sense of the word. A remake by definition is a duplicate copy maybe with some extra flair, but more or less the same story. Doom 3 despite irrelevent data inquiries, was not actually a remake of 93' version of Doom. Now the staff of ID Software wanted to make a remake, however it was never announced as a official remake. I could probably loop in some more information if you wish.

  • @bluefoxicy Well yes and no, I couldn't say that it is a true remake. Crippled Technology eh I suppose at the time they could have implemented a different way to deal with the graphics, but for the time being it seemed like ID software was quite content... Going around that however, the original script played out quite a bit different then just a teleporter going haywire on a moon, as well as how "Doomguy" started Doom 1, he went in after all his buddies died etc. Doom 3 you came shit happened..

  • @umz5555 If you have DooM 3, then they do have a remake of it, but only episode one.

  • @umz5555 remake? no. i believe the game was too great and still is and a remake would not be as great as the original

  • @umz5555 they, uh, did...

  • @umz5555 I just can't see it with super HD graphics, sorry :o

  • @umz5555 They should, but also use most of Skulltag which allows you to jump and duck, as well as other thing's. But most of all They should make a new Doom movie With only ONE character and that he should never speak at all, or make it into part's like the game itself.

  • @umz5555 doom doesn't need to be remade. It's badass as is

  • @umz5555 There is something like that look up doom 1 for doom 3 its a fucking epic mod.

  • 4 people didn't shoot it until it died.

  • I still remember the familiar 'clomp' of the cyber-demon when I hear this.

  • I hear this music and see the hanging stumps

  • My god, this sound still raises my heart rate.

  • This should be my friend Sean's theme song, who always never has ID on him and cant get into any places, :)

  • @wildwildwes052000 Except the Tower of Babel. :3

  • 4 people were scared enough to quit before facing the cyberdemon, even with iddqd!

  • 4 people made an unfunny joke about the numbers of dislikes for this video.

  • 0:57 - And then you get your ass fuckin' splattered across Hell by... HIM.

  • Secret level. Im surrounded by barons of hell!

  • I hate when people use the word epic, but this is by far the most epic song ever made.

  • it's kind of neat. This level really is not that hard at all. It's just the first 20 times you play it you're just scared out of yer mind you make a stupid mistake :)

  • Yanno, after you blast out 100 rockets...how the fuck can that cyberdemon stand?

  • *ROOOOAAR* Oh, shi-*splattered by rocket*

  • kanuk kanuk kanuk kanuk....*when I was 4 watching my dad play DOOM* "Watch out hes behind the corner!!" *watching him get owned by a rocket* "AAAAAAAAH1!!!!!!!!!"

  • @derekgornall "kanuk" indeed... that damn cyberdemon metal leg noise!

  • 3 people got mauled by lost souls.

1 Person couldn't raise the stairs!

  • I remember this being the theme for Plutonia's "Go 2 It" level: "Betcha wondered just what was the hardest level we had ready for ya? Now you know. NO ONE gets out alive." Very true, unless you IDDQD.

  • The SNES version of this song sounds so much more dark search it or check my vids (FUCK, dont mean to promote myself)

  • for years i was stuck on this one level, i could not beat the cyberdemon...and now years later this music makes me remember...

  • You don't hunt the cyberdemon... It hunts you!

  • I remember this one... I thought I hit the rocket launcher god damned motherload. Then, I saw the lost souls wandering, guessing about what was coming next, a horde or something - and then, when I went around the corner...

    ...the shit hit the fan.

  • One of my favorite games of all times. I love listening to this song when I play Jdoom (3D Models of original doom games.)

  • How to kill the Cyberdemon: shoot at it until it dies

  • @KornTongue94 PROTIP

  • 4 people got killed by the cyberdemon.

  • Comment removed

  • Music is totally appropraite. When I first played this level, I saw the cyberdemon from a distance and charged right up with rocket launcher blazing. He said "Oh yeah! Have one back!" BOOOOM! I died. Nobody told me he had a rocket launcher :^)

  • Oh I was wondering because this is e2m5 in the SNES ver. but in ost e2m5 is e2m7...yeah I have no clue either.

  • ])OO]v[

    That is all.

  • You could not have picked a more perfect background song to use when it came to facing down the Cyberdemon. Same goes for the song they chose for the Spider Demon and the E1M7 where you fight the Hell Princes the first time.

  • @8BALT

    E1M8

Baron of Hell is their official name.

I like to pick things apart. :3
