Probably they should have left Elegy alone when planning this album since it's already a pretty spectacular album (the pinnacle of their career IMO) Should have had more songs from "..Ithsmus" instead.

@jmatts78 Elegy is a fantastic album and all, but the production is pretty dire. The new versions are great because they reveal nuances that were lost in the originals.

The only new recordings which don't quite work for me are Drowned Maid and Black Winter Day. Magic and Mayhem circa 2010 is massive.

It's a pity they didn't do a version of Elegy (the song). That would have been epic.
