• House cats*

  • I made a mountain lion looking cat man on skyrim and my housecoat hair stood up and he wanted to attack the tv xD

  • There is no perfect predator. But the best predators are humans.

  • How come all these videos are only playing up to about :57?? D:<

  • The only thing I think when I see the kitty, is that I wanna cuddle </3

  • @pearchris Cuddle at your own risk.

  • if i catch you harming one... you're next!

  • i live in az. one morning i was leaving my dad's place, stepped out the back door, only to come face to face with a full growed mountain lion. the thing was full of teeth, and covered with stickers! scared the dog shit out of me. i don't know much about lions and tigers, but this thing scared me out of my wits.

  • 2:30 the camera man dies....

  • big cats are tigers, lions, jaguars, leopards. Cougars & Cheetahs aren't because they can't roar.

  • why does retarded horse have 44 mil views and this vid 242k . o.O

  • Had an encounter with 2 of these today during my run by a canyon, about 20ft away from the trail..

Gotta say, it was the most terrifying thing EVER!

  • Such a beautiful kitty.

  • saw one of these in a zoo in California. Incredibly beautiful cats and even though theyre quite small, they seem so agile plus theyve got powerful front legs & jaws. Very impressive, wouldnt wanna meet one in the wild

  • @ivangrozny27 Oh no you don't!

  • thats y i love mountain lions. they are just like cats, but there huge and can kick the crap outa everything else

  • @wolfquestboy no animal can actually beat a human... humans r just smart... eg. Animals cant methodically target and kill only humans, but we can do that + we got wepz... if a pistol wont kill it im sure a shotty can...

  • @Joshua1112111

Without your weapons you'd be dinner for that kitty cat.

  • if u saw a mountain lion, and it could talk, it probably say "F what you heard, if you don't consider me a "big cat" then check this out ! * bites spinal cord ...your dead.

  • @1tzMeRenee lol i forgot about that comment.

  • @ARappersBestFriend

Actually this isn't the video I was talking about oops my bad. The one I meant was "Mountain Lion Encounter" This stupid lady is in a house with her daughters and they were using high pitched voices which mimics the lions prey, the lion was really looking. I'd never let my kids out again after what she so stupidly did.

  • can it realy swim becuse I saw other videos with pumas that don`t swim

  • I came here because of seth macfarlene "name that animal dick"...

  • like that

  • cats are the most interesting creature on the earth.

    Even domestic cats are badasses!!!

  • @WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWVWW

    I totally agree.

  • So the only reason a mountain lion isn't considered a big cat is because it can't roar. That's like saying stock cars aren't cars because they don't have horns.

  • @airtioteclint im with you there. Ive seen one and they are pretty big if you ask me. And there scream is bone chilling.

  • @airtioteclint There are two categories, when it comes to classifying wild cats. Big Cats and Small (Lesser?) Cats. The Big Cats are ones like lions, tigers, leopards and jaguars. Small Cats would be ones like cougars, lynx, bobcat, caracals, snow leopards, etc. Quite a few of them may not be small, but they're still classified that way.

  • @shewolf51

They shouldn't be as mountain lions are no where near the size of lynx, bobcat, caracals, snow leopards ocelots etc. Their much bigger. I think snow leopards are kind of large.

  • @airtioteclint it's a big cat fuck whoever says not.

  • @airtioteclint no,its about genetics. Mountain lions are more related to the small felines than to the big ones, even though you could say its a "big" cat - in any case the only reproted interspecies hybrid with a mountain lion is the pumapard (x leopard)and they are believed to be quite close to the leopard - which then belongs to the panthera genus. So aprart from minor differences, cats are generally a very "closed"genus and its not much use diferenciating between big&small ones

  • i want one for a pet

  • 2:51. Yeah, looks like a great swimmer. Notice how they show it in strong rapids

  • I too am a lover of these creatures. I think part of the appeal of the Mountain Lion is that it is very closely genetically related to the common house-cat and it bears really similar features on it's face and even makes similar noises (grunts, squeaks, hisses, chirping etc). It's almost like a huge house-cat but that ...you know...would have no problem disemboweling you, hehe.

  • My Favorite Cats & the One's I associate so well with! Saves the Wolves..Save the Lions....Save All God's Beautiful Creations!! Thanks for sharing this w/us!

  • 1:29 Snowbell from Stuart Little

  • talk about vertical leap!! 18 feet!!! 0.0

  • I'm not defending calco69696969 but I personally have witnessed a man kill one with his bare hands. He lost the use of his left arm though.

  • lets put killerlionhunts from arizona out of business.they torture these proud animals.

  • People are purpose built for killing too suck on me opposable thumb!

  • so this cat would know to kill the guys in red lol

  • what cant this thing do

  • @MrDangerousPower tap dance :) lol

  • Heeeeere kitty, kitty, kitty.

  • 18 foot vertical!! "Air Cougar"

  • Find",'It."`Here'".Now'``

    Just'``Copy",,&'"'Paste,,"

  • fuckin love that scream

  • bad ass nigga

  • I think it sucks that wildlife officials don't think cougars are part of the big cat family.

  • @UrielEternal

    I know...just cuz it cant roar...THATS PROFILIN!! :P

  • mountain lions are cool in my book i would take a bullet for 1 or more

  • They left one species out of the list, Homo Sapiens AKA Humans.

  • this cat is a pussy

  • @MrElvisr27

    lol

  • @MrElvisr27A small female one of these cats mauled a pitbul and a boxer in one attack. That's just one documented case. All bigger cats eat domestic dogs all the time. Can't imagine how many dogo argentinos the jaguar has devoured down in S America.

  • This gives me a bonner

  • 1:50 - the paw is shown with four digits but five claws...

  • leopards and mountain lions have similarities; very good in climbing.

  • Wow.....big kitty!!

  • "We'd Be No Match For Them In A Fight" U dumbass, Do u even know what we have? If i fight one of those things ill just pick up my 9mm and put like 4 bullets on that thing. THAT is how simple it can be dead. If its still alive, put another 3 or 2 bullets on em.

  • @calvo69696969 you didn't even invent the gun; if you were truly that ingenious you'd definitely stand a chance, but if it weren't for others' creations, you wouldnt stand a chance

  • @Dsupreme1 haha so true so true.

  • @Dsupreme1 not only would he need to be able to make a gun, he'd need to be able to get the metal and gunpowder himself, THEN build it.

  • @wolfquestboy Notice how you get so freaking mad from just a stupid joke. man. ppl like you cant just take a joke. RELAX. Understand? RELAAAAX. ANd im not a loser. I may have no life but IM PROUD OF IT. GOT A PROBLEM??

  • Comment removed

  • @calvo69696969 oh, and im sure calling someone a dumbass, and saying that you would kill them with your gun is a joke. ps that thing can charge at yiou at 45 miles per hour. IT WOULD TEAR YOU TO SHREADS BEFORE YOU BRING OUT YOUR GUN. GOT THAT?

  • @wolfquestboy Can u shut the fuck up? Btw nice trolling. But it wont work on me :) insult me all you want. I really dont care. no matter how many times u reply i really dont care. Ill just ignore. Keep on with my stuff i wanna do. You know why you over react yourself? because your pretty much a douche bag who cant just take a joke. reply me when your brain is fixed.

  • @calvo69696969 look dude, im not trolling. All im trying to say is you cant beat it in a fight with out a gun.

  • @calvo69696969 You wouldn't even see it coming. Not to mention that thing would close in on you in a matter of seconds. I'd wager that one of those things can take a few 9mm rounds as well. Lets see how well you fire your gun when you're being shred to pieces by claws and teeth.

  • @calvo69696969 I think they mean u should fight with them without any weapon. Can u come to my house i have a mountain lion,i want u to fight with it.

  • @calvo69696969 go make a gun from scratch, then say that dickhead

  • @calvo69696969 Let me put a couple of them on you.

  • @calvo69696969 you sir are a weak keyboard warrior piece of shit and these cats are proven to be experts in stalking and ambush, so how does your 9mm compare now cunt??

  • Altair in animal form.

  • This animal is so awesome. It can leap so far and can overpower anything it wants to.

  • wait wait.... 30 feet?!?!?!

  • is that a dog?

  • Wikipedia much?

  • Oh no I hear a Mountain Lion; I gotta get back to my house and you gotta get back to your car, it was very nice meeting you!"

  • gevaarlijke poes .

  • 1:28 snowbell!!!

  • Cougars gonna coug...

  • nature's perfect predator-- human; it is powerful weapon is the brain.human can reach up to 500 pounds but they can do shit because they are fat assholes. humans can fly, swim, and run faster than any predators in the world.

  • my neighbor just killed on two days ago

  • "though it is not strongly associated with water, it's also able to swim".......this is said just as the cat in the video is being swept away by the river LOL

  • Wow, their screams earned the nickname "mountain screamers"? Where did these people learn to write? Way too many hyperbolic adjectives. 5 year olds might like it...

  • look at that lion in 0:54

    Is that place ''Africa'' ?

  • 0:28 lol

  • Kick it in the FACE!

  • "Nowhere in nature is such violent power is so elegantlly embodied as in this magnificent predator"

.... i can name a few, Lions,.Tigers, Leopard, Jaguars, Snow :Leopards, the list goes on... I hate @natgeo narrator!

  • Meh, I could take him on

  • I want to see a BJJ jujitsu guy face off against a mountain lion.

  • @ThisReallySuckz BJJ WOULD WIN

  • I remember they were trying to reintroduce mountain lions in some states that they had also reintroduced grey wolves, and the mountain lions kept getting killed by the wolves. WOLVES = APEX PREDATOR

  • @ThisReallySuckz Fuck no.

  • @ThisReallySuckz wolves hunt in packs

  • We be no match for them in a fight wtf? We've dominated all other life on this planet. Post video: Masabi the Lion Hunters

  • @ThisReallySuckz Not with our bare hands we'd be able to fight them. Weapons, sure, I guess...

  • @CelesteStorywriter actually, us humans can fight them off, not just with science and our superior brains, but there have been a few cases where someone has fought one off, with their fists

  • @ThisReallySuckz actually, us humans can fight them off, not just with science and our superior brains, but there have been a few cases where someone has fought one off, with their fists

  • Animals like that really can humble you. Absolutely amazing creatures. On the Idaho-Montana border a ski resort is trying to expand their land 1,540 acres, where mountain lions live. Animal Protectors Conservation, doesn't plan to let it get past the proposal stage. Type in Stop the Lookout Expansion for more info.

For those without a voice or defense.

  • My favorite Felidae.

  • Wild Cats truly are perfect predators. Their fur camouflages perfectly in the brush for colorblind prey, they hate having their prey feel pain so they choke them before eating, and they actually plan ambushes! Cats are amazing!

  • only 130 pounds?? honestly that makes it less scary for me. atleast i wouldnt be totally unable to fight back

  • I want one.

  • What a beautiful wildcat, hope that they will survive in their habitats beyond the time until the greatest problem on earth is resolved -> we.

  • Puma, my spirit guide..... none better

  • It's amazing, the cougar isn't in the same genus as the lion, but it's often referred to as one.

  • @PCGamerNET Huh?? I'm not a wildlife biologist, but I'm pretty certain they're not only in the same genus, they're the same species. As far as I know, there's the Florida Panther, which is a SUBspecies of the species cougar (sorry, should be using the latin name, but don't know it off the top of my head), but cougars, mountain lions, catamounts, and even the term panther are all used to describe the same species which once called all of North America home. 'Til whitey arrived. :-/

  • @WitchoCracko You wouldn't want to be with this guy then.

    watch?v=p9z5CRQ8nP4

  • i'll believe it when i actually see them jump that far and high

  • i went hiking in the black hills last summer and there were puddles of water drying up all across the hiking trail, and by each one of the large puddles were mountain lion paw prints in the mud. it was so cool i was hoping to see one but if i did it might kill me...

  • AnimalPlanetTV my msn in profile! Nature's Perfect Predators- Mountain Lion

  • I saw one in my front yard. When I saw it, it backed slowly into the bushes lmao

  • Oh my.. I think this is what tried to attack me yesterday while walking the dog.

  • Capable of swimming :| That's it. We're boned

  • not a big cat??? MY ASS ill figure out if its a big cat or not when i finish running for my fucking life and im at safety

  • The trademark Cougar scream, to me at least, sounds a bit like the engine of a Porsche 911 Turbo. The Cougar proceeds to move a few steps higher on the Awesome List.

  • That video applies the LAW OF NATURE: The Survival of the Fittest and the Elimination of the Unfit. That is important to maintain the BALANCE OF NATURE.

    - Mr. ENGEL DELA CRUZ from Bulacan, Philippines

  • i live in the fucking mountains in utah and i see 9 mountain lions everyday

  • @soupurmann Freaky

  • "Did I just catch a fish?" 1:21

  • What's with this bullshit of commercials?

  • @kingsarbkota that would be thanks to google

  • @gbpckr34 Thanks. Now I know to get on THEIR asses, too...

  • what I would do to be able to jump 40 feet long and 18 feet high while running 35 mph

  • HOLY FUCK THEY CAN JUMP 18 FEET HIGH!!!

  • Am I the only one who thinks the narrator sounds a bit TOO enthusiastic about the mountain lion?

  • I think its scream sounds hella cooler and much more menacing than any roar

  • i got these in my back paster

  • Incredible animal, I was stalked by a mountain lion 2 days ago... it snuck to within 15 yards until I saw it and stood up and started yelling at it... it kept coming at me to under 10 yards before stopping and turning away. I will never forget that intense look in it's eyes, I thought I was dead meat!

  • Lol at the swimming part it looks like hes gonna drown >.>

  • Lol I didn't get any ads STFU

  • I recently learned that genetic studies show that cougars are more related to house kittycats than to lions and tigers, as had been previously assumed. Now I seem to see pussycat-like facial expressions and body language on the cougars in this video.

  • @Axgoodofdunemaul Yeah and did you know Cheetah's are also in that ballpark? Cheetah's are closest to Cougar's in the evolutionary line, meaning; Cheetah's didn't originate in Africa and are closer related to the Puma family.

    In relation it goes:

    Lions - Leopards - Jaguars

    Tigers - Snow Leopards

    Cheetahs - Cougars - Lynx

  • 3:42 i dare you too put your hand in there

  • i love mountain lion...but it will take forever to watch the video....so slowwwwwwwwwwwwww like turtle

  • Very enlightening. Protect the mountain lion.

  • @Directopalooza

You may be afraid of the Cougar, but a bear would smack his butt to the moon.

  • @N00bcrunch3r I have to agree. I'd rather encounter a mountain lion than a bear in the wilderness - especially if there are no trees around. But even if we have to fence off vast swaths of national parks, the natural wilds of the Americas must be protected. We owe that to our grandchildren.

  • @satrofma

    Yes, indeed we should.

  • i own a mountain loin

    hes aswsome

  • beautiful animals :D

  • I have seen one in my yard before. It was amazing!I have livestock so it came to hunt.

  • there was a attack in minnisota me and my grandpa and sister are going to kill it

  • @jjjason2000 fuck you assshole ill kill you before you kill it. theres 7 billion people on this planet and less than 50,000 mountain lions. so stop destroying our eco-system you redneck piece of shit

  • @jjjason2000 Your sister sucks dick like a pro slut. I bet she learned that from your mama

  • i <3 mountain lions!!!!!

  • what is an ecasystem?....

  • Cougars are getting more common, which is a good thing. But they are a danger to children. Keep children close when in cougar country.

  • @Axgoodofdunemaul should've told that to Ashton Kutcher before he married Monica Belluci.

  • @Jadandlud LOL!

  • That lion at :54 looked like a super sayion! Beautiful lion thougs! WOW!

  • I'm going to favorite this video. The Mountain Lion,Cougar, you name it! Is my favorite animal in the whole animal kingdom! And to see one in the wild is my hope and future event! I live in the mid west and I've only seen one in captivity. So these animals, like many people say.Should treasure these epic beasts!

  • What would happen if Tyson give one punch on this lion?

  • they taste good too!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i think panther is more for an alternate color of a leopard

  • @shayan484

Panther is a black cougar. Not leopard.

  • @cheree4life ive recently realized panther is the name for all black wild and large cats including couger leopard abd also jaguar

  • which would win in a fight... a komodo dragon or a puma

  • @Spirit4496

    Komodo.

  • @Spirit4496 Komodo Dragon hands down. The puma's claws can't even penetrate it's scales. heck, a 0.22 caliber bullet just bounces off it's skin. then there's the rabies from the drool of the lizard. and if all else fails, they also have claws of their own.

  • , i live in north Carolina and in the last three years ive seen 9 mountain lions.

  • @danksmoka10

What? I thought Cougars only lived in the west with a couple of subspecies living in Florida and the Northeastern United States.
