  • Hey, I'm a total photoshop beginner and I really like your style of video and found your instructions really helpful. Please upload the other videos? You have a great way of teaching! Thanks

  • @TheMrDOPEstick its just a little bit ignorant... but he should just be glad you didnt call him ron weasley... fucking ginger.

  • Hello, could you help me out...I have Adobe CS4, CS5 and Photoshop Elements 8.

I want to cut out an image from a photo, like I would with a pair of scissors so I can

layer it over another photo. How would I do that with these softwares. I'm new to all

this and I've been staring at my screen with Elements 8 and still cannot find the cut

out function. Hope it has one. THX for your help.

  • @rawrichnfitforlife 1.Use the pen tool. "P" is the shortcut key.

    2. mark a point at the edge of the image which you want to cut.

    3. extend lines around the image with precision.

4.when you're done, right click in it to get a "make selection" option.

    5. In it, change feather from 5 to 10.

    6.Hit ok.

    7. You'll get the selection around the image now, so press, ctrl+J to copy only the cut out image in a new layer.

    Enjoy. ^_^

  • I remember the first time I tried using Photoshop. I didnt even know how to make a New canvas. That was 3 minutes ago.

  • russel brand?

  • You sound like a girl.

  • Obviously a 1 off ??? There is no Part 2

  • Now, I'm sorry... but It's upsetting with your high pitched voice. Just some constructive critizism you can't do anything to fix: A calming voice is more soothing and catches more easily. I get distracted by your voice when it's like this.

No personal grudge, just saying :/

  • Thank you so much! This is so helpful!

  • Hi! The beat thing to do is use illustrator rather than Photoshop . This crates a vector logo which can be effectively scaled losslessly

  • Dear muzby101, PLEASE HLP!!!! I need to create a logo. I will need to use it in small brochures, and also in big signs and flags. Meaning logo in final print will be from 2 inches in the small brochures, to 80x15 inches in the big signs. If I want the best possible printing quality, in what size do I need to create the logo? 1. Huge, 80x15, real size? And then scale it down when I use it for the brochure? or 2. Make it small, in the brochure size, then enlarge? THANX!!!!!!!!!!!!
