  • You recorded and mixed this on my birthday. Thanks for the present bro

  • Nice job, this is an incredibly hard song. Careful you don't rush the feet throughout the main 11 over 8 riff and the chorus riff.

  • Your version is cool :D

  • @EarthAnother Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!

  • tasty mofo!!!!

  • Badass dude good job

  • definitely a tough song to cover perfectly. my only advice with your technique would be to try to play more with your wrists than your arms when playing the cymbal with your left hand

  • Nice job, minus the grip on the sticks D: use yo wrists man!!! they bend yaknow!!!

  • do some Periphery for us? Zyglrox? ;D

  • this song is soo sickk, good job

  • GREAT SHIT, man...

    love it.

    thx 4sharing !!!!

  • I think you need more toms.. lol

  • @tool89 Thumbs up!

  • Dude that was awesome! Why didn't you join After The Burial? haha

  • Dude, I want to be in your band

  • awesome cover :D

  • You look scared. Were you told that you would be castrated if this wasn't perfect?

  • @CincoDrums I was forced to play at gunpoint. It was an interesting experience

  • A little sloppy here and there, but great sound and you really have skills dude.

    Keep up the sweet drumming

  • Damn - 4 toms ! Cool !

    Nice drumming,btw

  • Good cover but loosen up a bit man!

  • I'm listening to a song right now while the video was playing and it looks like you're playing along to the song. It's pretty funny! As stated before, sound quality is superb like it's Mortal Kombat! Good job, man! I cant even come close to playing anything like After The Burial on guitar or drums! Have a nice day!

  • dude you switch your snare hand alot, ambidextrous?

    great cover

  • try covering the tony danza tapdance extravaganza, id luv 2 hear it

  • What technique did you use to record the drums? I mean... What type of microphone(s) and what type of interface, if any, did you use? Everything is just so clear. I just love it!

  • Excellent Job man!!!

  • hester prynne as blood runs black COVER NOW!!!!!! :)) PWEEZZZ

  • your drums sound great dude, nice fuckin cover

  • the song name has to be from a fortune cookie

  • @cuntrag1 Dude i never thought of that. But it makes perfect sense.

  • Nice fucking job!

Although you look a bit tense...

  • Are you just hitting random toms at 2:38? Their drummer follows the guitar pattern on the toms. Im not criticising, i would do the same thing you did lol. One more question, the breakdown after that, what is the pattern for it? If you dont know which breakdown i am referring to it is from 2:58 - 3:19.

    Thanks! :)

  • @cscrignaro I am playing the syncopated guitar rhythm with my hands, I'm just alternating between different toms because I think it sounds better

  • So amazing man. another song all too well done. I'm so impressed with your ability to switch seamlessly between left and right handed playing! keep the vids coming! :)

  • fuckin delivered! great job

  • Sick!!

  • DUDE!!! u look just like alex grind!!

  • Are you a lefty? and how did you get your footwork down so well?

  • What kind of bass pedals do you use?

  • @SkizzVidzz Iron Cobra Power Glides. I've been using them for about 8 years now

  • @eyerecorddrums Nice! I have a single Power Glide, going to buy a double here soon. Thanks for the response! Keep rockin!

  • @eyerecorddrums Hey how come ur tom sound so epic did u muffled it and how u make it a flat sound? mine sound so Shitty and have echos...and almost get complained by neighbours....any word of advice?

    10/10 for ur sound Quality

  • @Santeora I spend a couple of hours tuning my drums before recording these videos to try and get my drums to sound as tight and controlled as possible. Sometimes I can't get everything sounding the way I want, so I sample replace some of my drums (mostly kick and toms) with samples I custom-made for my recordings so I can maintain a more consistent sound. Hope this helps!

  • The foot work from 1:16-1:22 is so tricky to me. I want to cover this song, but that part is so hard to pick up on for me!

  • nice job...keep your amazing gr8 work bro...cya

  • Very nice Ben!

    And great quality!

  • @Aydan86 Haha thanks Lorenzo, glad you enjoyed it!

  • Nice man. Do you like the album?

  • @AlphaDee I do enjoy this album, but not as much as Rareform. To me, Rareform was a masterpiece. In Dreams is a definitely a more accessible album for newcomers, and I'm assuming that's what they were trying to go for

  • @eyerecorddrums Yeah, the problem for me with Rareform was that it was a bit like "Look, we can do sweeps and breakdowns with funny time signatures!" and such... so I like In Dreams more, because it's more song oriented album, if you know what I mean.

  • @AlphaDee Oh definitely, I agree. Rareform was a "tech" album, and song structure was all over the place. In Dreams is a more cohesive album, and is better written in general

  • @AlphaDee I agree with both of you!

  • @AlphaDee

i dont like the new sound of ATB. they changed way too much. something about rareform was amazing, in dreams just sounds....wierd and not like atb

  • @howycwap Okay... well... you listen to Rareform then, I'll stick with In Dreams.

  • @AlphaDee go for it

  • can u do AUGUST BURNS RED PLEASE!!!!!!

  • Hey nice sound! Did you eq the overhead mics??

  • @Kevinkoch2443 Just a little. I put a high shelf eq around 12K and boosted it about 3db, and then I used a hi-pass set around 300HZ, since I didn't want any of the low-end mud to get through in the overheads.

  • @eyerecorddrums Thank you i try that out!

  • complicated chugs and fast rolls are nothing for the likes of you, great job

  • @mfrazie4004 Thanks for the comment! Glad you got to watch the video

  • nice

  • amazing..you got those polyrythms down

    it's been a while btw

  • @sk8ersick666 Haha I know. I seem to go at least 6 months in-between videos. I blame school

  • Pretty good, man :D. Keep up the good work!

  • i do not remember subcribeing to you?

  • The sound quality on this one is a lot better than your other videos. Pro.
