I have seen a screen go green a couple times. When i worked at gamestop i check out halo 3, and the game went to a green screen at startup, well then i got another copy and it did the same thing. Weird, but this copy i have is good now tho

I thought that was funny. That's happened to me a few times also except on the Wii and not that game. For the Wii, it may give you an error and a message saying to take the game out and push the restart button to restart; however, pushing the restart button will not restart the console. I've Googled what it meant, and I came to a conclusion that has something to do with reading the game (dust, scratches, DVD drive messing up, etc.). For the 360, I've not encountered anything near a green screen.
