Some people think it's easier to put the controlls in different order, I personally like the default, but a lot of people like bumper jumper (what he had). To change your button layout just go to halo, press the start button, then go to settings, button layout, then choose how you want your buttons configured :)

bumper jumper is better for serious players cuz it keeps the br steady when you jump cuz you dont have to take your finger off right thumbstick to jump

Right, when I was trying to get my 50 I was constantly getting out BRed in TS, and I didn't know why, I was doing what everyone else was doing with strafing and jumping but it didn't help... Then my friend suggested I get used to bumper jumper, when I got used to it I got my 50 from 45 in three days. It really helps, I STRONGLY reccomend bumper jumper! :)

Why? Because Bumper Jumper allows the player to jump & melee while keeping a thumb on the LS, instead of taking it off which is neccessary with Defualt.
