  • The tools are invaluable during a post crash situation. IMHO

  • You can always you gummy worms for fishings, i've seen it work and you can always use it as a snack.

  • The tools are good for taking things apart, like car parts from old cars you might find. You can take apart parts from variouse things that you can use for survival purposes.

  • I'm glad I found your page, my family is in the same general area and I try to put them up some of the same concepts I see that you've done videos on. *subs*

  • buy some number six shot for your shot gun cheaper than the stuff you have been buying and good for less than human sized targets like rabbits and birds,

  • My Food Pack Contents...

    COFFEE CREAMER,COFFEE,SALT,PEPPER,SUGAR PACKET,OATMEAL,CREAM OF WHEAT,TANG DRINK MIX,WHEAT CRACKER,TUNA FISH POUCH,RAMEN NOODLES,PASTA MEAL,RICE MEAL,CANDY,RAISINS,GUM,FRUIT SNACK,SUN FLOWER SEEDS,SPORT DRINK MIX,ALCOHOL SWABS,NAPKIN,TOOTHPICK...

    Total Calories=2564

  • lmao shiiiiiiiiit!!!! I'll get it

thanks for the video my family thinks that Im just insane

but I dont care better to be prepared!!!!!

  • power bait sux in my opinion, iv never caught a fish with it.

  • good job. thanks for sharing

  • ya could even go as far as to get ya a little net just in case you need food but can't find fish. Like a small creek for instance would not hold fish, but with a little net you could over turn rocks and such and catch crawfish. Make some crawfish stew.

  • Also if your going to get a pole for your B.O.B,,, their are some really good retractable poles out there. Basically the pole just slides down into the handle and the handle on the reel folds up as well.

  • on your fishing equipment.

those little power bait grubs are good for catching bass.

Those hooks you showed were a bit too big if your going to be in a dyer situation in need of any food. Smaller hooks work better cause you can catch smaller fish like bluegill, sun fish, crappie.

  • A new fan/subscriber here!

I agree with 1776SoL. You are who you are, and show us that without ego or elitism. We're all trying to improve ourselves and learn from one another. Keep up the good work.

  • Dude, most of the items in your box are not going to help you in a survival situation. a car wrench set for a man without a car, Maybe you could use the staplegun to torture a bad guy, and the cordless drill is going to be dead when the powers off at your home. I'm not sure about these urban bugout kits, I mean take an earthquake and tell me which of your items is going to save your bacon. not the rice becuse the water supply is off and the river system has been breached by raw sewage !

  • DemCad, the thing I dig about you, is your humility and willingness to learn.

You showing people the process from a guy who didn't know anything about survival, is quality of your videos that i'm sure people like.

Keep up the good work. It's a process for all of us. Take Care

  • I have 2 boxes each for 223 and 9mm. These are also a common round. Glad to see you added more ammo. Good man!LOL

  • hey demcad, that magnifying glass is only good for fire starting if it's genuine glass, plastic won't work. maybe you knew that already

  • Stock up on ammunition!!

  • Take your barter ammo to the gun range and make small talk with people who have guns with those calibers. Tell them you were thinking of getting an AK, or AR 15, or 30-06 rifle. Ask them if you could shoot just one shot to check out the recoil. They will probably let you shoot 10 shots. DON'T BUY A GUN WITHOUT SHOOTING IT!!! Rent them, too, before you buy!

  • That's an automotive tool set. You need a handyman tool set.

  • demcad do go to see yankeeprepper 's new video on bugout bag.. i saw it and immediately thought of you! he even roasts his own coffee beans. it is too funny.

  • Tools will always be useful, DEMCAD.

  • I don't think people are too worried about sodium if the economy is collapsing and they need to run.

But hey, if the shit hits the fan - you don't have to worry about telemarketers - and if someone pisses you off - you can do whatever you want. :)

  • Thanks for the vid Demcad! I've been thinking a lot about learning new skills that will produce something. My current job would not be considered essential in a longterm SHTF future. Have you thought about learning a trade or craft to make something? Producers who can provide for the needs of others will be the wealthy ones in our near future. Farmers could be the next "Bill Gates". So far my only production skills are reloading .45cal ammo. This needs to be expanded. What are your thoughts?

  • Learn how to create electricity! If you learn how to make a generator, windmill (even a small one).

Learn how to sew and learn on a foot powered sewing machine.

  • Nice Video DEMCAD. Fuck the haters! You make great videos

  • Want to make money have a Web site, Blog check out my site. Its a modest site but a start. Thanks (Blackjacksimple1)

  • The lighter the better. Good thought to bring the ammo, but the toolset will weigh you down and is putting the cart before the horse. Pick up a Chilton's manual on any car and read it for an hour first.

    Not baggin' just sayin'!

Pare down to a 22oz Estwing claw hammer, cold chisel, separate flathead and Phillips screwdrivers, 2 RoboGrip pliers, duct tape. Anything else you can find on the road when you need it. Tools ar more plentiful than food, they don't rot, and pawnshops are everywhere.

  • i hope you have been shooting.

  • Reggie,

With respect to the 50 #'s of rice you should use it on an ongoing basis as rice turns rancid quickly, depending on the variety.

    Richard of Danbury

  • @Richardofdanbury White rice can last several years. Brown rice, the healthy kind, turns rancid quickly.

  • Under Marshall Law here in good ol' U.S, I think there plan is to use all those Fema made camps. We are a prison country you know! I know the bigger picture some do not see, and that is that Jesuits have FULL control of the Unted States!

if you are Catholic,Take or use the mark,or submit to Roman NWO great, but if you are a Bible believing Christain you are a Heritic, and must be taken out!

  • That magnum buckshot is gonna hurt on you when you pull the trigger, the regular buckshot is fine!

  • The .308 180 grain will lay out a horse. great choice of ammo.

  • No Ramon noodles? Cheap and just add water :)

  • my friend, i love your enthusiasm but what are trying to acomplish here? If your general mindset is city living then try to stay there as long as you can. If you feel you must escape to the country then you must team up with other people who understand living off the land. based on what i have seen so far you are not going to make it on your own. please network with people who are ready for w.t.s.h.t.f. at least consider a fully loaded bug out vehicle that you can live in.

  • @camanojim I also agree that long term survival is teaming up with groups, a BOB is ok to help you make it to some destination, of for surviving natural disasters until help arrives. but if your planning for hard times that last months or years, there is no way your going to make it with that BOB alone. need to find groups that will grow and raise food, need to learn pioneering skills. ( hunting, preserving food, building shelters, setting traps, knowing what plants you can eat. etc )...

  • Im not being funny but i found parts of this hilarious, i mean we have to think logically here, if this so called collapse of the society does happen what would be your chances of you surviving on your own for a couple of weeks at the most, the smart person would find a different country to move to where the effects would be felt on a lighter scale. think about it...

  • This is correct.

  • @dontwatchdat7

Hey Demcad here is another bug out to the beach troll. Just fly to Costa Rica on your private jet, blah blah blah. Remember the dipshit that said he didn't need a BOB because he lived near some NFL players. Looks like have another one.

  • Forget TMNT. He-Man was the bomb.

One of the best investments I made was something called a rusted or stuck nut remover set, by Craftsman. You don't know how many times you'll be working on something and the damn nut is either stripped or rusted solid to metal and you can't fix/repair the item until you successfully remove the nut. Got it at Sears.

  • Transformers owned all. lol

  • AXE=MALLET +BLADE

  • I hate those damn telemarketers too! Your wise to get all that gear ready.

  • You should build an offroad truck. I think that is the fastest way to mechanical skills. Take a look at my channel to see a video of the 4x4 I built.

  • First time in my life that I am glad to be moderately overweight. You would look ridiculous in the white world with that nose if you were skinny.

  • The telemarketer turned u in to the hulk. wooooooooo u was mad.

Dont forget a small nail clipper.

You can put it on key chain with flashlight.

  • For a moment there was almost an Tsunami of Profanity,LOL!

  • Demcad, no offense but you should stop spending all your money.

I've been thinking more and more recently that poor people want to be poor and go about keeping themselves poor on purpose so they can continue to complain about how they are victimized :P

Demcad, be a good conservative and save your damn money. If you're going to spend your money on toys, at least call them toys and stop acting like you're being responsible.

You should fill your bug-out fridge with food and feed your mom!

  • All you're accomplishing with this bug-out preparation is bankrupting yourself faster so you will need to use your bag faster.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I really think you're priorities are either warped.

Camping is fun. Take your children camping for a nice break from REALITY!!!!

Until then, get back to work!

  • I can assure you that the fundamentals of worthless crap are horrible. Maybe even worse than the fundamentals of fiat currencies.

  • money is a cumulative test.

  • The future belongs to those who score the highest on the cumulative test.

    (sorry for multiple posts)

  • camp out for 3 nights dude !

  • ohhh yea

    been meaning to ask you

    is your bug out bag.....

    prada ....

  • A small socket set would be useful for a vehicle, but around the house you will be hard pressed to find much use for them. Stick with the allen wrenches,a good variety of screwdrivers, a crescent, and some channel locks. As far as the fishing hooks go, you would be better off going with a smaller size 8 or 6. You can catch big fish on a small hook, but not small fish on a big hook. Also, those are good barter calibers, IMO.

  • demcad

    the russian ice dancing team

    just blew up ...

first time in 28 years ..

    what's up with that ..

  • put yourself on the DNC list..

  • Reginald,

DO NOT shoot those rifled slugs out of the Mossberg unless it specifically says you can in the manual!! You could ruin the shotgun or get hurt..

  • What's your number? I wanna call you the next time you're tryin' to do a video! It was HILARIOUS watching you lose your cool like that! For the most part, I love the stuff you added to your bag. About the food...did you bring all the food from Alaska with you back to Flint? Where are you storing all that stuff? And by the way, have you finally found a job? What's the source of being able to buy all this stuff? YouTube Google money workin' well for you yet? Great stuff!

  • I guess he found a nice new credit card in the postbox. And then he went to Walmart to buy more chinese shitty stuff.

DEMCAD is a true modern american.

  • llothar68,

Stop talking about me like that. You don't even know me. I've never had a credit card in my entire life.

    veritasfilies,

I'm working on a video about searching for a job.

  • Here in North Florida, the news report is that stores like WalMart, Target, CVS & others r going to remove some of the brand name products from shelves and replace them with generic brands due to the consumers' change in purchase habits;consumers are buying the lower priced items;inflation is ramping up-same dollar but it takes more to purchase same items.Very, very bad sign ppl.Yes, the recession is over;per Bob Chapman we've been in a depression since May 2008.Only buy necessities.Hunker down!

  • hate when people buy ammo for guns they dont have.

  • hate that your a facist.

  • So a person who think that weapons are creating more problems then solving is a facist.

Your politicial education stopped at elementary school or maybe even Kindergarten.

All your fucking guns will not help you when you do not understand to act together.

  • What???? Wha are you refering to? Have you seen any other videos here??? Or any where? Google Ruby ridge Ohio.

  • You must be blissfully ignorant of the so called gun issue. What is your fail proof solution? Confiscate all guns? Well that has caused only more crime. The only thing we can do is further tighten up the borders and support the local PD you stupid fuck. Perhaps you should strip yourself of a political opinion and go live in north Zimbabwe for a few years.

  • Yes confiscate all the fucking guns.

Legalize drugs, prostitution and tax (put a high tax on all of them) and introduce a social system that tries to keeps crime away.

Then enforce the minimum wages on all employed persons, illegal immigrants and legal workers.

Yes it is so simple you stupid moron. Maybe some day your crime rate is going down to the same levels of all other civilized countries.

  • Firstly to debunk your first argument, high taxes has proven to only perpetuate a black market demand, and this has proven true from American prohibition to the Brazilian gun confiscation, even to the genocides in Africa. Once something is unavailable or highly taxed there becomes an unimaginable demand for said thing. Socialist ideology and history and human nature are quite contradictory. You have only proven to me that you are ignorant of history and human nature. Your opinion is verbal bile.

  • I absolutely agree about the drugs. Prohibition has been an absolute disaster that has cost the nation a fortune so high it's incalculable

Minimum wage laws cause unemployment, nor prosperity. Confiscating guns will make the country more violent and will give criminals an advantage against unarmed law abiding citizens..

Our high crime rate is strongly tied to poverty (caused by over regulation, tax and minimum wage laws) and the war on drugs.

  • Dude I'm telling you the truth, screw it. You're so damn out of shape you won't make it 4 weeks in survival mode. You'll be too tired to walk, let alone hunt and fish. You struggle to walk from room to room. You enjoy this stuff and like shopping for new "toys".

  • I agree 100%

  • Survival mode? What do you mean by that?

If you mean surviving on your own, four weeks is a long time and only a few people in the world are really able to deliver.

Now, there are other means to survive, like sitting at the top of a human beings pyramid and drawing from them what you need to survive and live.

If the latter, then I somehow feel the vid maker will do well as he is already doing well and wont lack practice.

  • Alright enough dude... At least he is out there carrying his pack 3 1/2 miles each trip. Wheres your vid. Why are you bashing someone thats trying. Are you jealos that someone is more prepared thatn you? You should support each other as you two are not each others enemies. We are all fellow country men. Lets all try to leave the hate out of it. Or at least aim the hate where its due. No disrespect We Must Unite!

  • you have no CLUE what you're talking about doing Reginald!

  • Yeah walk around with magnesium on my kay chang around my neck. It broke cause dropped it. I just bought a Remington 870 magnum express last friday for 285 bucks and I got a pistol grip stock on the way through the mail. You should get some stuff called sovereign silver gel spray for your first aid kit.

  • Those are some neat key-chain additions! I want that whistle combo, where'd ya find it? Also, is that monofilament fishing line? The only one I got is that kind cuz I pack-ratted it from a bunch of free stuff I acquired.

As for that HUGE box of ratchets and wrenches and drivers and bits... Out of the house, nigh-useless (except for maybe a few allen wrenches). Look for a Leatherman with an interchangeable bit driver and that should take care of your needs. Maybe keep a ratchet for car repair.

  • Walmart!

  • Go figure! Thanks.

  • hey demcad. If you want a good hunting rifle goto Big 5. They almost always carry Mosin Nagant's for less than $100. I recommend the shorter one. It's very accurate and pretty light weight and the ammo is cheap. But make sure the rifling is still good cause these rifles are relics.

  • Demcad, I would love to help you with your BOB but you never have returned a message. There are a lot of ways to be more thrifty with your pack. Go to Joes army navy on M59 West of telegraph. Thats not too far from your house bro. Fire wise, get some trioxine from Joe's Army Navy. Food wise, get some foil packs of chicken and tuna from the market. Leave a message on my page bro, really. I camp rustic style all the time, it's great practice!! I can help!!

  • Joe's in in Waterford! LOL I'll get my trioxine online. Thanks.

  • Reg, any luck finding a job yet? Could you make a video about your job hunt? What's the job situation like there in Flint?

  • Yes, I already have. I'll post it in a few days. It might be my last video.

  • Last video? Why? Are you taking your bugout gear and going to a FEMA camp? :)

  • WHAT!!!!!!! Why? We need people like you.... Just close your eyes for one second and think about this... Think how many have seen your vids. Think how many have left +feed back. Think how many you have woken up and how many lives you may have save or how many will be saved by hearing unbiased advice from someone who is honest.

  • your voice makes my cat horny

  • @manwithbreasts:

It would be better for DEMCAD if you were womanwithbreasts and his voice would make your pussy horny.

  • 5*****

  • hmm, about the rice. 4 cups can last my family, 5 ppl for a day accompanied with meat. 2 1/2 cups weighs about a pound so thats like 125 cups out of that. so 25 days for my familiy? so maybe a month of we stretch it. so maybe 3-5 bags of 50 pound bags? idk, were filipino so we eat hella rice.

  • You may survive the ice age, yeah.

  • Great video. Once you have your BOB finished. Start on the Bug In gear. Bug In is best, Bug Out is last resort and really sucks.

The key to Bug Out is to keep upgrading and tweaking your bag.

  • @TheStealthCamper Good advice to Demcad. other great items for your pack are foil packs of tuna, chicken, vaccumed packaged salami, trail mix - put it in your freezer for up to 1 yr. One point, you can't always bug in, sometimes you have to move at a moments notice. remember: a 1 hour drive by car is 4 days on foot!!

  • Noice! how much does 50 lbs of rice cost these days?

  • 35 bucks.

  • That's the bad thing with long-term food: all the darn salt. But we've got to have it for the future.

  • Hay DC what I admire about you the most is your honesty. Your not here trying to impress pople, when you don't know what something is, you don't pretend that you do. I was rolling on the floor when in your previous videos you were trying to start a fire with the magnesium fire starter but you were striking the wrong side. LOL Thanks for the honesty and caring. Thats what makes DC special. Regards,
  • Look in to getting Clif Energy Bars. They have 250 calories and high in protien. fiber, vitamin c and many other nutricianal benefits in a very small 68 gram package. Doesn't need to be cooked and you can fit ten of them compaired to that one package of Beef Stroganoff.

  • Vicegrips are a must

  • A must is to acquire different antibiotics and put them in your bag.

  • @32937isready

Nah.. untrue. All anybody needs as far as antibiotics is some colloidal silver and the means to produce more colloidal silver.

  • Mechanics or woodworking is an excellent skill to have. Stanley are a good make too.

I think all hand tools are good because in a post collapse, electric screwdrivers etc may not be any use. Batteries will die after a couple of years.

A Stanley Yankee screwdriver can last 100years!

An old bit and brace set (Drill that looks like a crank) will be cheap to pick up 2nd hand but massively valuable post collapse.

  • A few waterproof matches are always good. Lighters run out of fuel or get wet. Since you die without fire in a surival situation, a few matches that won't fail when wet are great, and take up zero room in your bag.

Tools are indeed good investments, especially if you get the quality stuff. Those sockets look a bit cheap but better than nothing!

Good call on the rice :)

  • It seems you are doing pretty well financially to be able to purchase all that stuff. I'm glad for you and it's a good investment. You need to put that rice in something air and water proof to keep weavels out. We are big rice eaters here ( Louisiana ) and I know that weavels will have a ball with that sack of rice. You can get a 5 gallon bucket with a good lid at a hardware store.

  • @darksideoffroad

100% agree weavels wont kill you but the thought of eating weavel shit. buy smaller bags of rice toss them in freezer for a few days then put in air tight container.

  • Theirs nothing in dog food that will harm you, accually if need be it can be eaten by humans.

  • If you had blown that whistle everytime the telemarketer or collection agency asked a question would that be wrong?.

  • Hahaha! "Who the hell are you anyway?"

  • I would recommend reading "33 Strategies of War" for your psychological preparation. It's good having stuff, but don't forget skills.

  • Dude Next Time A Teller Marketer Calls Do What I Do CLICK Hang up On Them Don't Say A Word Other Than Hello.

  • Dude, you have a temper - it was just a phone call.....

I hate those guy too, I just had to laugh at your reaction.

Keep up the videos, I like them a lot.

  • Hahah!! S@#$t :D

  • demcad you are ill prepared to actually , in fact, bug out. I suggest that you send some time learning how to bug out. Yes, it's good for your show and it helps your brand, image or whatever to keep making money off this show but don't insult the rest of us...lol learn my friend. Go camping next weekend.

  • Demcad

With those videos, I would recommend that you edit the video with a video editing program to a 16:9 settings

In WMM - Go to Tools - Options, and you will see the 16:9/PAL over the 4:3 NTSF settings that would improve this look big time.

  • The rice you bought is going to be full of insects.

  • What's up with the big dog food size bag of rice in the background? LOL !

  • Socket sets are good for throwing at wild dogs or mean people. but not in my bugout bag to much weight one or to pairs of vise grips max. hell you'r gunna need a sled and a pack of dogs to haul all that shit around.... lol

  • where are you planning to bug out to? do you have a place to go other than your city for an extended period of time? you're going to need to button down somewhere rather than stay out in the forest you won't be able to survive out there fore very long

  • Your food review is kinda funny. I mean...it's food to keep you from starving to death. Does it really need to taste good?

  • your better off looking under some old trees for some night crawlers, than using those lures...but like ya said better than nothing.

  • Dry socks.

  • the tools can help but i recomend trying to get a better brand

  • thanks for the leadership and keep it up

  • First class. Now you need to learn how to use some of those tolls to fix what you already own at home. Again great vid.

  • I have about 600 pounds of rice stored... and I'm NOT sure I have enough...lol

Your vids are getting shorter Reg. :(

  • Reg. your suplies are awsume. You can save all the plastic buckets you want too. Id store your matches in many air tight bags so if some get wet. Dont forget the spices for cooking . It will go good with that stray Dog . Yum . =)

  • About the food. Fat is a critical nutrient during the winter. It keeps you warm and should be about 40% of the calories. Small bottles of olive oil, lard, canned butter anything will work. MRE's are good for this reason as they provide a balance. Dried prepackage meals tend to be low fat. Add the fat to wahtever meal you cook.

Just before hitting the sack have a small very fatty meal and it will help.

  • red feather canned butter.

Oh so good with indefinite shelf life!

I tried one and hid the rest. just to good to leave within reach.

  • Where the Trioxane and the tin of cotton balls and vasoline? Fire right after water.

The pack should wiegh no more than one third of your wieght. Get in shape

Mountain House is good stuff, but expensive, good if you must have the convienence. If you need inexpensive good food that stores well here's one idea. Throw pasta in a ziplock with a package of alfredo sauce mix and a package of tuna. Makes lots of food for $2.50. If you've check the expiration dates, it should last up to two years.

  • Ramen noodles are usually my main backup staple when trekking...crush them and repack in freezer bags to save space... put the seasoning packs in a separate bag along w/ bullion, dried veggies, and soup mix from the bulk foods aisle.

Supplement with foraged plants & critters when the opportunity arises. (Don't forget to keep a few extra freezer bags in a readily accessible side pocket on your pack to store foraged items until you're ready to use them. )

  • @akyhetti

Good idea.. something I'll do .. thanks

  • Socket sets are easy to use. Just make sure to use a 3/8 when you need a 3/8, and not use a 1/4. For a bolt with a nut, use one wrench and one socket and apply torque in opposite directions. It is beautiful. I would highly recommend you get a long 1/2 drive breaker bar with the adapter, which is great for loosening stuck bolts, or applying more than 300ft-lbs of torque. In survival situations, every bolt is stuck.

  • That rice will last long time if you store it in 5 gallon buckets and use dried ice at the bottom before you seal it..The tools look heavy-vice grips and chanel lock pliers and cresent wrench..are very useful.

  • Demcad, common rounds to get for barter; pistol rounds 9mm, 38 cal, 357 mag, .40 SW, .45 cal ACP; shotgun 12 GA; rifles .223 or 5.56mm; .308 (NATO 7.62); 7.62 x 39mm (AK bullets). In a crisis you may pick up a weapon that may use those types of bullets.

  • Add .22LR and .30-30 Win to the list.

If TSHTF, reloading components and tools will be in demand as well. Ideal/Lyman (310 series) and (original) Lee loaders are cheap, compact, and portable...bullet molds may well be worth their weight in gold if commercial sources for J-bullets dry up.

  • That much rice--you might get some bugs growing in it after a while. If you can freeze it, all the larvae will be killed and it will store longer..

Good vid. I like your new toys (wrench set)!

  • and/or use Oxygen absorbers in sealed containers. No oxygen and no bugs/mold survives.

  • Watch out for those phone scams demcad. Never call someone back at a number they give you. They will charge you 100+ on the phone bill.

  • Remember everyday life forms not commonly thought of as food can be utilized for their protien content. This includes bugs, birds, crawdads in the creek and various common rodents. Make a broth with some beef boullion and add the contents of your catch...SOUP....every bugout bag should contain rat and mouse traps

  • Palmisano11-

    very good idea!*****

that food lasts and lasts. Who knows how long it sat before it was issued but it's still good.

  • It's Demcad's sense of humour that I really like.

  • Have you tasted that dehydrated meal? I saw the same brand, but wondered about the taste.

Candles---I saw some novena candles (the Catholic things with the saints on them) on sale at the grocery store for $1/ each. I bought a bunch in case the electricity goes off in a SHTF situation. The cashier must have thought I was having some huge, spiritual crisis in my life!

Put the rice outside and let if freeze x 1 week to kill any bug eggs that could hatch and ruin the rice. Trust me.

  • Where's your Buck Rogers decoder ring?

Just kidding, blow that whistle in the telemarketers ear!

I like the mylar lined buckets you can keep food in.

Rice, oatmeal, grits, beans, dehydrated bacon and ham will also keep many years in one of those.

  • I didnt realize until relatively recently what practical skills programs community colleges had. If you own a car, buy the owner service manual and learn to take it apart from fender to fender. There is an excellent online company named Alldata that offers all automobile technical service bulletins. For online auto repair training look up CDX online. Learn practical trade skills. Trade skills are survivor skills.

  • Some small hooks would be good. It's easier to catch small fish usually.

  • That and you can catch both small and large fish with small hooks. Just large fish with large hooks.

  • when they call me i tell them to hold on .. sometimes I leave them on hold for 5-10 minutes.. when I come back ..they are still there..

    Idiots I tell ya

  • Hey brother,

You can use your firestarter block to start the fire that you heat water with to boil your rice. I just wouldn't use it to start the fire that you grill your steaks with.

  • Check into emergency food ration bars for the bug out bag. Packed full of calories and nutrients, no water needed, and a 5 year shelf life.

  • I don't wanna get completely prepared for a crisis and have it not happen. If I'm going to get ready, I want the shit to hit the fan.

  • I want your shit hit your fan too.

  • Sodium is in any MRE. Salt is use to preserved food.

  • Say StrO gan off

  • Demcad you forgot a pregnacy kit and condoms! lol

  • haha...loved the cursing!...being unemployed i now get hours of recreation messing with the telemarketing folks...

  • Instead of the mountain food, try Ramen noodles and compressed packages of Chicken or Tuna. It is much cheaper, higher in protein, and you can use less of the seasoning packet if you want to lower the dehydrating effects of the sodium content.

  • DEMCAD MAD, lol. those meals have alot of sodium because when you are sweating, u are excreeting alot of salt, and you cannot funtction without salt, so its all cool. mabey u should consider picking up mil surp rifle, like a m91/30, enfield smle, mauser, or springfield.your shotgun and pistol are good weapons but arent all that effective past 50yds

    congrat's Reg...

    That's much better.

  • damn telemarketers!!! hahaha!!

  • @AK47AR15GLOCK40 I hate them, too. Glad, I have an answering machine. Telemarketers go away. lol

  • bugout bag very good for camping , for the coming economic collapse get passport , cash an a friend abroad ))) bug out bag useless when the SHTF

  • keep the fishng line on the reel :)

    saves it getting tangled

  • Reg: Store your rice in mylar bags, in a 5 gal bucket with 2,000 cc oxygen absorber. I can hook you up with a guy on ebay that is very reasonable. Buy brown rice (better for you), whole grain pastas, red wheat berries and whole kernal corn to grind into corn meal. Get buckets at Home Depot cheap or restaurant. Get 10 buckets going. When you have all 10 filled, seal. Also do pinto beans, white beans, red beans, any kind of beans. Rice and beans make a complete protein.

  • Rice should be every home survivalists "go to move". (I call it white gold) It has lots of calories, and you can store it for 7-8 years.

If you can't afford gold, buy silver. If you can't afford silver, buy rice. :)...

By adding a good pressure cooker to the equation you can hit up those local markets Odin mentioned, and start learning to preserve your own food supply. Veggies, and rice. Yum.

  • I'd suggest getting out to the woods and living off your bug-out-bag. When you're out there, you'll find something that you wish you had or find that something you have is not that great of quality

Absolutely. Nothing can show you the limits of your bug out bag than a good camping trip. I always take mine camping as well. Also a few months back Demcad took his gear out camping too. I wonder if there are any good camping spots in his area.
