@TheTedgale This wasn't poverty row as such I don't think. It was rushed out to help promote Mystery of the Wax Museum, and fill the post-production gap that that film created. This print is quite bad, but at the time I believe this was good looking for a low budget film.

ATWILL is Awesome, eerie musically scarey,sets superb. this hoprrpr historian knows these old films unlike todays blood &gore. Catch Dr X as well or better yet from 42 DR RENAULTS SECRET , now this will scare you. J Caroll Naish as never before.He will scare you.Trust me. Ill be back. I like it here. Its home to me. TOMKES

this old horror film historian can tell you this film VAMPIRE BAT is great lots of fun eerie , scarey great music and Frye is going at it great. Thats Lional Belmore the mayor of the region. i love these old horror classics big or small from bygone era. what sets and music oh ah to see films like this today. watch and enjoy. dont be critical just sit back and envision a different time and era. VAMPIRE BAT on dvd is still a MEGAHIT to me and im sure others. Thanks friends. TOMK

i'm just watching now, for dwight frye. i'm disapp. to realize his part is small, yet again.:( such an underappreciated genius. maybe i should just be grateful people still appreciate him AT ALL. it's a pity he wasn't as big a star as so many of us feel he deserved to be.
