  • Very close call on the offside. You can see the assistant is about two foot ahead of the second rear-most defender which gives him the distorted view of the offside call. In my opinion no offside, but can see why the assistant thought it was.

Think was maybe slightly harsh the caution for the kicking away of the ball (delaying the restart of play) but can understand why it was given.

The goalkeeper though should have been sent off for violent conduct, no idea why he wasn't.

  • If I was the player I would have destroyed the goalie.

  • the offsides was wrong but u can not continue play after the whistle is blown, its a correct decision from the ref given the linesmen's call.

  • NO OFFSIDE !!! red to the goalkeeper !!!!

  • @moete5 YOURE RIGHT LAST MINUTE DECISIONS ARE USUALLY RED

  • wasn't offside.red player didn't kick after the whistle..merely touched it, it doesn't deserve a card.goalie punched him..complete lack of discipline and deserves to be sent off.BUT why the referee made that decision andwhy the linesman flagged an offside when it clearly wasn't..its politics. the white team Zamalek a major club in the league with manyfans , the red team is very small from a small town the Linesman prevented agoal and the referee was complicit in sending off the poor player.

  • Player no card.... Keeper red card

  • @madridfc5 Both players deserve a red card! The player, as a result of a 2nd yellow card which was the right decision. he kicked way after the whistle and the GK for hitting the player.

  • seems not offside , the referee assistant deserves a yellow card

  • @sayedhamoto no offside at all!!

  • hsarh

  • HE WASN'T EVEN OFFSIDE!

  • Not wrong decision!

Yellow card to bouth. If the red team player had a yeallow card, he shouldnt put the ball to the otherside.

  • Noo WRONG DECISION, for start hes not offside and he toe poked it about 3meters not a card, a massive over reaction from the referee and it should have been a card to the keeper, maybe red!!

  • Sure It has to be a red card for the keeper! And you can always say, that the player has not the best reflexes, so he kicked the ball further. Just a totally wrong-jobbed ref

  • @aspland14 it's not a surrealist decision to call offside in that position. the red player hears the whistle but still put the ball to the side. to call a yellow card on that is not a surrealist decision - it's the right one. now whether the goalkeeper should get the yellow or red card for taking that swing is debatable. seems to me the only one over reacting is the person posting this video saying this referee is nuts, or maybe the red player that started it all?

  • @Dmaj87

Τhe keeper should be shown the red card . He didn't tackle . He punched .

  • Yellow for both is perfect.

If you notice, the striker runs for like 1 second after the ref blew the whistle, and then he touch the ball so it changes direction. Yellow card for that.

And the keepe would usually get a red card for such behaviour, but when it's at the end of the game, and a player makes such a lame move, his frustration is understandable.

  • The player got yellow for kicking away the ball after the referee had already blown the whistle. Its a hard but regular decision.

  • its ok, yellow card for both

    perfect

  • his blind, his deaf, he wants to be a ref

  • being a referee, i can see two things wrong with this, one is the attacker should NOT have received a second caution, and the keeper should have been sent off for striking an opponent.

  • Well actually i would argue that the strikers yellow card was contreversial, certainly in the league i watch every week (the English premier league) if a player is clean threw on goal like that and the ref blows, they just slot it in anyway becuase its their instinct as a striker, they havent smashed the ball into the crowd in frustration. The yellow card on the striker is harsh, NO red on the keeper is fucking insane.

  • agreed

  • Still, take a look on the score and the clock.

  • Legit call on the striker, but he went a bit soft on the keep if you ask me.

  • Where's the problem? He gave yellow cards to both players.

The goalkeeper deserved one for hitting the striker, and the striker deserved one for kicking the ball in the net AFTER the ref had blown the whistle for offside - and he got that call right, too.

Why people have a problem with this ref is beyond me.

  • but "aggression" is sanctioned with a red card, not a yellow!!

If not, then players should just chase & punch anyone who kicks the ball away after the referee calls a decision! After all, it's only a yellow!! :S

  • but the player had a yellow before.. ang got a yellow again.. = RED !

keep should have get the red

  • yes, the issue is the keeper should obviously be off too.

  • ya, the bitch ass keeper should have gone off too that stupid drug addict

  • it looks like the referee that reffed the world cup game of Spain vs South Korea in 2002...

  • No, that referee is in prison for match fixing.

  • Err what the fuck?! It says it right there on the screen. Shady. Darn right. I used to live in Cairo, right by Ahli Stadium. Nice place. But I was always a Zamalkawy.

  • bad decision

  • Well...

The forward saw the yellow card, cause he scored after the referee hat stopped the match.

(If he had already seen a yellow card before, then, the second yellow card means the red card.

As for the keeper, the referee considered that not as an agression...

  • sucks

  • que mierdas?

  • omfg what a decision!

  • AHAHAHA XD
