  • I'll listen to this over Drake and Lil Wayne any day.

  • Cool!

  • I actually believe this is from 1994. It was good tho

  • It's christmas time somewhere and in an alley with a burning barrel several bums gather to warm themselves. Vanilla be like, "yo, I used to shoot a music video here back in the day." Others be like, "true...true."

  • This is the real V-Ice, not the mainstream Ice Ice Baby shit

  • lmao at the cane must be his pimp stick

  • vanilla ice right here>eminem now.

  • I remember buying seeing this CD in the record store years ago. I bought it for like $5.99, because it was a Vanilla Ice CD I'd never seen before. This was the first song on the CD. I was like "Holy Shit!". It was so unlike his other stuff, but I loved it. Then after this, he went on to hardcore music, and all kinds of weird shit.

  • he aint bad at all man take a look at marky mark and the funky bunch case closed

  • @SenileLeopard another good song role model

  • @SenileLeopard then roll 1 up stupid and cool it

  • Красавцы

  • never heard this song b4

  • To bad he didn't start out like this. He was actually being who he was at this time but nobody would take him serious. It's a damn shame cause Ice is a very talented individual. I mean look at him now he still on his grind and he never stops entertaining people and he does charities out the ass.

  • @bkd2117 i agree this was the shiit - i had no idea he ever did shiit like this - thats how far he fell off the charts - maybe shittl change now that hes with psychopathic !

  • I thought this was really kinda funky,man.....appealled to my sens(I)e of "tha only white guy into a smoke n that"................I he was a talented guy....I Agree with you ma man-garethacB1-this song was sound fer gettin down n dopey with yer mates...listenin t Cypress Hill and ICE...bit of Psycho Realm as well,maybe....LCC....signing off....NEED FER WEED..

  • This video was made in 1993

  • one of ice's hardest songs

  • vanilla ice has his hair braided cause hes a juggalo

  • @gorthoth he didn't become a juggalo until about 10 years after this video.

  • @gorthoth this shit came out in 1994. so definetly not a juggalo back then lol

  • if people seen this vanilla ice they would be much more interested in him

  • if all the haters dislike it why the hell watchit

  • i think all you who are hating on him here, are nothing but jelous, and youre probably black, you black folks are not the only one who can rap , so stop making shitty comments , haters!!!!! nothing but jeloussy...........im not saying vanilla ice is dope but he has his moments , this song is sick

  • @bossoffallbosses worrd im latino and fuck i think the white rappers r better than the black ones think about it eminem jedi mind tricks Yelawolf Beastie Boys i dont give a fuck wut u say about my last one ICP i personally think their fucken dope! etc..

  • @terrorsquadlith vanilla ice was

  • 1993

  • this is wayyy better than that fucking gimmick so called candy ass rapper feminem the slim anus fucking bullshit,.....anyways later.....

  • i found a link to download this great cd is on megaupload ? d = G Q G B 2 F L 9

  • What album is this from?

  • @KICKNITentertainment Mind Blowin.

  • Can't believe he went from this to that ice ice baby bullshit...

  • @kingbigboy3pk Actually he did Ice Ice baby first

  • @avail447 No this is when he was a rapper..He started rapping in the 80's. But he changed to pop music when he was promised alot of money in return...

  • @kingbigboy3pk you got it backwards dude, his first actual studio album was in 1989 with the hit "Ice Ice Baby"

He then had an album in 1991 called "Extremely Live" which was also mostly songs from his "pop rap" as you call it

and then he had THIS song from the album Mind Blowin in 1994

Im looking at the albums right now!

  • @kingbigboy3pk Actually, he went from Ice Ice Baby to this.

  • pretty good song

  • Damn. This sounds way better than little Wayne

  • @DStyleBoxing

I'm no Wayne fan, but this is not better. - Seriously, the lyrics are short and predicable. - This my first time hearing this song and I was able to finish several lines before he said them. Better than Too Cold though.

  • He looks like Head from KoRn... lol

  • And why the hell does anyone give a damn enough about MY opinion on a video anyway? There's tons of other comments on here, a lot of which are way more insulting or disparaging than mine was. So why is it my comment that is getting hated on? Go reply to the people who out-n-out said he was shit!

  • vanilla ice was actually a good rapper, but the media makes him look like some whack rapper, this rap shows he can def. rap.

  • This video's from 1994, not 1998. Just saying. Awesome video and song though.

  • old skool whoop whoop!!

  • When this video was shown on The Box music channel in the UK there was a clip added at the very end or the beginning of Vanila Ice saying to the camera that he does not condone the use of drugs. Anyone else remember that?

  • If this was released by Everlast it would have been a hit.

  • Reportedly, this was one of Tupac's favorite Vanilla Ice songs.

  • @EMCEscher it was???

  • WHOOP WHOOP THAT IS MY MUFUKIN SHIT RIGHT THERE TRUE FAM ALL U WACK ASS PLAYA HATEN EATTIN DICK HATAZ CAN FUCK THA FUCK OFF WHOOP WHOOP

  • @313thetruth LOL JUGGALO; get a life junky; go stink like shit somewhere else

  • This song is better (a little) in audio only form, w/out having to see him attempt to act hardcore... all I keep wondering is how much did he have to pay those guys to be able to stand around him in the video and not crack up when he starts waving around a 40 and making the mean face? I used to like his stuff when I was in high school though, and I used to like this song too but for some reason now it just annoys me. >:/

  • @tay2375 Don´t watch it then as simple as that

  • @parracatau I was looking it up because when it came out I liked it, but I never saw the video to it. No need to be dismissive to me for airing my own opinion. I wasn't saying it was crap or anything, just that I find the video funny & cheesy. I find it funny that he now puts down his OWN earlier work as cheesy & was supposed to be starting a heavy metal career.

  • @tay2375 This was the real Ice. The pop vanilla Ice was just an act, SBK offered him millions of dollars to do pop rap, and he took it. He cold out in to the Extreme. But this isn't him pretending to be hardcore, he was just being himself.

  • @VanillaIceRevival Ok, so I think his real self looks funny to me then. He just seems to be trying too hard... but again as I keep saying this is only my OPINION. Opinions aren't "right" or "wrong", they are subjective to a person's individual viewpoint. So I have a different one than you & probably a lot of other people. That doesn't mean I can't say what I think, just like everyone else who comments.

  • @tay2375 I wasn't saying you were wrong or anything. I'm just saying that hardcore Vanilla Ice wasn't a fake image.

  • @VanillaIceRevival Ok, do you actually KNOW him or something? How would you know what he's really like at home & not on camera? He was on The Surreal Life way AFTER he put out this song, & he acted like a hardcore heavy metal dude, not a rapper, and as I said before, he put down his earlier work himself- including this song. So is he a hardcore gangsta, or a hardcore heavy metal head? Because he sure does seem to change a lot to match up with what happens to be popular. That's all I'M saying.

  • @tay2375 He is a TV personality. But people are exaggerating when they talk about Ice's different styles. People say that Mind Blowin is a far cry from To the Extreme because he talks about violence, drugs and sex, but all of these elements are on To The Extreme. Life is a Fantasy and Ice Ice Baby to name a few. All of his tracks on Cool As Ice have references to guns and he wrote and performed a lot of his songs on Mind Blowin way back in 1992. His music has always been true.

  • @tay2375 He's both. His style just changed overtime.

  • @OfficialMCCeaser Yes, his style changed over time. In the early 90's he was ripping off MC Hammer and here he's ripping off Cypress Hill. It's good to see an artist grow.

  • @bubbalover71 That's odd, seeing that he never made any songs that sounded like Hammer's. I also wasn't aware that Cypress Hill owned the rights to funk samples in hip hop or were the originators of such.

  • whoop whoop

  • Bwhahahaha! At least he tried to act hard...

  • I know I'm going to be probably hated for saying this but he reminds me of Easy E :D?

  • Sounds like Run Dmc

  • I miss this guys music. I wish he would make a new album. He wasn't always the greatest artist but most bands have some crappy music.

  • @jackmehof97 Vanilla Ice was signed to psychopathic records recently

  • lol what the fuck is hoodie mack? lol @ vanilla ice trying to act gangsta, he now has the nerve to say that the dancing clown pop star image was his only attempt to sell out?, this video is proof that he's always been a sellout from day one of his first record contract even to this day he's still a sellout!

  • It's amusing how a Soulja Boy album can reach the top of the charts and Vanilla Ice's "Mind Blowin" album ceased to even reach any spot on the chart. I own this album too and it's pretty beast. The Wrath, Roll Em Up, Blowin My Mind, Phunky Rhymes, Hit Em Hard, and Get Loose are my fave songs on that album. Plus Ice looked cool with dreadlocks. He's one reason why I, a white guy, wouldn't mind havin dreads.

  • is it just me or is he trying to steel the look from kriss kross in this video and a bit of there style from this time the way the rhyme

  • this guy keeps it real, he's way better than tupac

  • what if this came out before ice ice baby? lol

  • LOL One of my homies looks EXACTLY like Vanilla Ice in this music video, I gotta show him this shit lol!

  • It's ironic Eminem was inspired by Ice and bought his cd when it came out. But when Em came into the mainstream he ridiculed him. Why? Cuz it's cool to make fun of someone who paved the way for you?

  • @beyondstitches Eminem hated Vanilla Ice's music.

  • this album is ahead of its time

  • Vice paved the way for single white rapers, like Haystack, paul Wall,Snow and eminem, they all should prase Vanilla Ice,and everybody knows that Eminem was one of us that bought his album, you will never hear Eminem say...I bought Vanilla Ices Album when it came out....

  • vanilla ice taught eminem everything he knows.

  • I'd say the vanilla ice dolls where taken from the kids by perant and thrown into the bin after this:)))

    Gud man vanilla

  • Funny how this cat had so much opposition at the time. Understandably there were Mcees all up and down the hiphop world that kept the rap game tight. So it was a very different scene where one false move could send your rhyming career into oblivion.

Nowadays chumps posers and bling nu-skool rappers can desecrate hiphop with impunity because all the real OGs have hung up their hiphop boxing gloves to a new generation.

Its now wonder we are left with a hip hop dark ages.

  • this was uploaded on my 16th Bday

  • @TheHiddenAnswer

Well V-Ice should've came to your party and you two start to "roll em up", light em up, then smoke it up.

  • i do like this album from vanilla surprisnly fresh

  • hahahahahah i remember watching this video on the BOX long ass time ago shit is funny as hell even mc hammer tried this hard core gansta rap shit and it didnt work for him either.

  • he had a ghost writerr i forgot his name but it was some one from death row the iceman got into some shit with the row and almost got him self thrown out of a hotel lol

  • Right after this song was released, nobody ever called weed hootie mack again.

  • @TheWhiteTomatoes best comment you had me in stitches 5 stars *****

  • @vcval You mean people EVER called it hootie mack?

  • @TheWhiteTomatoes i think i might actually start callin it that now!

  • @TheWhiteTomatoes

the rap that ice does is go

    the other ppl are annoying

  • What a great song. Love the iceman

  • Dre aint gangster wtf lol the whole embodiment of 90's gangster music and the numerous shootings that would happen at death row isn't gangster huh

  • @dbagmcgee311 dr dre was never gangsta, even dre said a studio is a place of business, and he wanted out of death row cuz of the dumb violence. pac was gangsta and u see how he ended up. dre was a studio gangsta

  • This video is from 1994.

  • was he really in a gang

  • @PaRkOuRbOyKaI He was in a small gang that sold ecstasy when he was a teenager.

  • @VanillaIceArchive thanks for finally telling me! haahahhaa

  • he's down with da clown its tight shit whoop whoop

  • I remmember when this song came out i was 3 months old :p

  • Fucking awesome

  • ANDY TIMMONS!!!?

    the end guitar solo!

  • i wonder how tupac felt about vanilla ice

  • @ilikescreamo1991 2pac prolly envied vanila ice, because pac died over ignorant shit and ice is alive today.

  • @jasartrip9598 yep it really stupid huh cause vanilla ice claim gangster one time im shock he still alive.

  • @ilikescreamo1991 dr dre claimed gangsta also, never been in trouble in his life, and only beat up a girl. so why is it so bad when ice did it?

  • @jasartrip9598 o serously didnt know that i knew vanilla ice beat up a girl

  • @ilikescreamo1991 ive beat up a girl also, for punching me in the nose. point is is that there aint no reason to hate ice the gangsta when other people act gangsta, but they aint. mc hammer went from we have to pray, to pumps in a bump, go figure you moron

  • you guys sucks if you dont like this this song is awesome

  • @MannySuper345 good song to get high to

  • 1:05 is ridiculous.

  • this song is just awful, it's pissin me off too

  • @MrStonermetal dont listen to it then

  • Vanilla Ice had talent and skills, but he tried to craft an image he just could not sell. He should have went behind the scenes and helped aspiring artists make music like Gerardo "Rico Suave" did. I don't blame him or MC Hammer for selling out when they did, Vanilla Ice was only 19 years old with Ice Ice Baby, how can any kid turn that money down? Lying about his past certainly killed him in hip hop which is so focused on who you are, but his label wanted to sell him a certain way.

  • @Daemonocracy Just to add, it was Aresenio Hall who really amped the racial crap. Regular white and black kids were having fun with his music in the early 90s but Arsenio Hall and others had a clear race problem and I don't think were ever appropriately called out for it. Had Tupac and Biggie not taken over, Ice and Hammer probably could have had a few more years of making fun party rap but Death Row and Bad Boy were so good back then, everyone wanted to be hard.

  • i like the chorus

  • yea i can't stand vanilla ice how stuck on himself he really is he stuck on himself man fuck that and for cold as ice and ice ice baby and his poppy bullshit and jedward wow what next him with brittany spears.

  • @ilikescreamo1991 He's just enjoying his career and collaborating with artists that want to collaborate with him. What's wrong with that?

  • this song would be good if ice had that gangsta voice and flow, but he dont, he sound like a rich suburb kid trying to be gangsta which he wasnt rich but he just cant pull of that gangsta flow like b-real, eazy, eiht, cube all them fools. The beat is pretty fucking sick though.

  • @bluntblowingmexican yea man your right about dat......;

  • I remember this track from my middle school dayz..lol this song is not from 1998 it actually from 1993/1994 I remember the Box would play this and they had a 5 sec video where Vanilla Icw was sanging "in no way or by any means dose this song about weed" lol and then the video was banned like a month or 2 later

  • @OGscotty2hotty Yep. This Video use to come on The Box all the time...That's how I start to love it...

  • i think the begininng said i need some faygo i need some faygo

  • his raps arent that bad, dam stop insulting him, he was the FIRST white rapper, i hope you all know that. eminem was NOT. i think em and ice are both talented

  • @Korndude4561 there were other white rappers before Ice and Eminem. What about the Beastie Boys??

  • @Cerebus1975 yes can't stand the beastie boys i think there raps are kinda of corny but idk to much white rapper but i do like vanilla ice and eminem

  • i think with ice is that he was the first young person we saw become a puppet by the industry and than disregarded when not needed anymore. it happened before him but he was so huge that he was under a microscope. now adays we look back and see that it is becoming common for record companies to change an image, make someone look like an idiot for money, ruin their career and say see ya. i dont fault ice at all because if i was 19 i would have done it. blacks were mad because he was on top.
