There's a pretty big difference between claiming that Christians ought to care more for the environment and claiming that Christians ought to set aside their religion-based distrust of science and buy into global warming theory. The former is true, but almost trivially so. And the latter is both misguided and false. I'd be interested to hear what reason(s) Jonathan Merritt has for discounting Darwinian evolutionary theory, as I assume he does.
