A note to anybody who wants to learn this lovely song. It is very difficult to sing because of the phrasing. Dishwalla play it in B# which I find a difficult key to play in on the guitar. This version is in C which makes so much more sense to play in, on the guitar.

So get a version of the song with chords in the key of C (simply surf the title and "chords"). You can then play along with this version following the lovely voice of the singer who is doing it perfectly and Bingo, you have it!

This is a brilliant performance!

I have a question. I have been learning the song on my guitar and playing along with the vid. I am puzzled about the tuning of the guitar. The song is definately being sung in the key of C, but the guitarist appears to be playin the root C chord with the C chord formation for open strings, but he has a capo several frets up the guitar. Am I correct or do I need glasses? Have you detuned the guitar by several tones? And if so I would love to know why. Thanks.
